CHAPTER 73 (Part 2)

“Which I know only...my wife cheated on me. All the excuses that come out of your lips, will not be able to brush it off. Are you satisfied to have betrayed me? Is this how you take revenge? You have got my heart completely. But in an instant you melted everything. You satisfied now?”

Charlotte gasped for all Xavier said to her. There was no intention to avenge Xavier's bad deeds all this time. Instead, Charlotte wanted to make Xavier happy beside her. He also did not want Xavier to misunderstand the incident that is not necessarily true.

“I never wanted to take revenge on you Xavi. How can you think like that?” charlotte Lirih. Manatapu sad man who is now able to tear his heart.

“Really? Isn't that just from your perspective? But the truth is you destroyed me in a way I never imagined. You know my weakness, and you take advantage of it!”

“Xavi! I know you're still angry. That's why you said something that doesn't make sense. If this is about your allegations about me and Fredy. You're wrong big time! We never had a relationship except friends. He helped me solve the company's problems! That's all!”

“Help? You accepted his help but not with my help??! What do you think I am? Other people?!” exciting Xavier.

“Not so..”

“Not so how? You're obviously with that guy at a hotel not at the office! My eyes are still normal Charlotte!!”

Charlotte almost had trouble breathing and talked to Xavier. Why is it so hard to tell him that all the charges are not true. Charlotte took a slow breath and slowly threw it away. They have to talk without involving their emotions.

“We talk well yes. You're getting mad. We sit down and talk about it with cold heads. Okay.” Persuade Charlotte.

“Don't tell me to be level-headed if you keep making me like this yourself. You don't care about how I feel, my heart and my mind are always on you! You'll never know that.”

“Ah, I also forgot one thing. Don't you want to be free from the shackles of this marriage? So you can marry a man who may have had intercourse with you before me-“

Plaque!!

“Why are you angry? Offended you? My words are true, aren't they?”

“You're evil! You can say that to me!” In an instant, Charlotte's tears rolled down her cheeks. Feel the heartache. “You think you know all about my life?” his sobs.

Out of nowhere, Xavier was instantly speechless when he saw Charlotte crying. The man's lips were tightly clenched. He stared at those brown eyes that had now been flooded with tears of sadness. Xavier's body was petrified, a feeling of guilt encircling his little heart.

Dugm! Dugm!

Charlotte's hand hit Xavier's chest repeatedly. Channeling the pain over the man's words. “Hiks, How can you say that when you yourself are the first man for me.”

Charlotte again hit Xavier's sturdy shoulder. Now with both hands.  Xavier just silently received every weak blow of the woman. Charlotte looked up at her head full of cold eyes that were already tearing her heart apart. “Hiks, I know I was wrong to have disappointed you for refusing your help. I did everything so you wouldn't be burdened. I was wrong to accept Fredy's help, but I never once gave mine to anyone but you! Only you! How could you say those hurtful words, hiks!!” Charlotte's limp body leaned against Xavier's chest with her sobs growing louder. Spilling all the pain of his heart that was already injured.

Charlotte can't stand firm. He sat on the floor with sobs that drained his energy. He was overwhelmed with sad conditions.

Xavier was silent for a moment watching his wife sitting on the floor with tears in her eyes. Seeing that made Xavier a stupid man. He cannot control his emotions. His words were too cruel, he admitted it. The more he was beside the woman, the more he could not help himself. He did not want to make the woman hurt even though his heart felt the same way. He didn't want to do anything bad to the woman anymore. He has to go.

Xavier's legs slowly moved away. His feet echoed down the hallway until he could no longer be heard. Xavier actually left Charlotte alone.
