CHAPTER 42

Dinner was held at the Hotel Roses Bels in the city centre. Charlotte looked around the restaurant on the 5th floor. At first glance he was surprised because he did not find any visitors. Charlotte was worried about entering. Because I think it's the wrong place. However, suddenly from inside the restaurant came out a waiter greeted him.

“Goodnight Miss. Can I help you?” ask the resto waiter politely.

“Emb, is this true Restaurant for reservation on behalf of Ferdinant Xavier?” charlotte said as she handed him a card. The servant caught a glimpse of him and immediately smiled at him.

“True Miss. Let's go in. Mr. Xavier is already waiting for you.”

Huft, it's true this is the place. Why is no one eating there? It makes people confused, right? The annoying man was mostly a whimper indeed, Grutu Charlotte inwardly followed the waiter who delivered him.

There by a glass window showing the nightly atmosphere of the city, Charlote saw Xavier sitting in the chair staring out. The man looks handsome in a suit and his hair is combed up, featuring his perfect paripurnal eel. The man had not noticed Charlotte's presence there.

Charlotte is sitting in front of Xavier. The man's gaze now turned to Charlotte in front of him. Look at the woman from top to bottom. Until it stopped in Charlotte's face.

“Still mask original, huh?” xavier smiled wryly.

“Not your business!” reply Charlotte indifferently. Turned his face away.

“I won't praise you.”

“Who is also asking to be praised by you?” charlotte snorted in annoyance.

Xavier chuckled softly in comfort. Actually, he doesn't care about Charlotte's ugly face at all. He just likes to tease her. When she saw Charlotte getting angry, she enjoyed it a lot.

Then Xavier called the waiter and ordered some food for them. Xavier has no intention of offering Charlotte what she wants. He just ordered food. Charlotte raised one of her eyebrows, astonished by Xavier's attitude. Usually if a couple does a romantic dinner, the man will certainly offer a variety of delicious food or ask for the woman's favorite food. But these? He's even as good as he was at ordering food that Charlotte didn't know.

Charlotte put down the food menu book on the table in annoyance. I have no intention of opening it at all. Seeing Xavier as he pleased like that, had made him lose his appetite. Charlotte's not sure she'll enjoy the food here.

Waiting for the food to come, Xavier was endlessly staring at Charlotte. Highlight his eyes seemed fickle, sometimes the eyes sharpened as if he wanted to scold him but sometimes looked down disappointed. A few seconds later, I smiled back. It's like that until Charlotte's tired of trying not to see it.

“You sick huh? Why did you keep seeing me?!” Charlotte is losing patience.

“I see the fish behind you.” Answer Xavier casually.

Charlotte turned around and saw the arowana fish inside the aquarium. The fish also saw itself just like Xavier. His mouth that was monstrous as if he was mocking himself who continued to get angry indistinctly.

Charlotte was upset and turned around. Both of his hands crossed staring at the annoying Xavier. Seeing Charlotte's expression, Xavier tried to hold back his own gel. “Why are you upset? What's with the fish?”

“That fish is ugly like you. Shitty!”

Xavier laughed crisply. A second later, however, it fell silent again. He momentarily forgot if they were in a public place. Not long after, the waiter came to bring various foods and put them on their table.

Charlotte's eyes were wide open to see all her favorite food was there. There is Tomyum seafood, honey-baked shrimp, and also tuna steak. Everything looks good and stirs his appetite. Almost drooling dripped before Charlotte realized that Xavier was waiting for her reaction.

“Well. You like it?”

“No. Regularly just tuh.” Shall Charlotte still maintain self-esteem.

“Okay. You can say that but your saliva is not.”

“Xavi!!”

“Swant. While you're still with me, whatever you want I'll fulfill.” Xavier took the water and drank it. Charlotte gasped, Xavier saying as if pinching her heart. In retrospect, when Xavier wasn't angry, the guy was pretty good. Yeah, just a little.

“How do you know?”

“What?” Xavier looked up, looking at Charlotte confused.

“My favorite food.”

“It was very easy. Dean's looking for him. Then telling. This resto is also he who proposed.” Answer Xavier. And himself did that.

“Really? Why don't you just?” ask Charlotte. To be honest, Charlotte thought Xavier was trying to find her favorite. He's a little disappointed.

“For what? There is no point.” Xavier said as he watched Charlotte's reaction. The woman looked down and played her food. Seemed to breathe. “You'll be big head later. Aye right?”

“Not so either. I'd be happy if you did it, but you didn't. I forgot one thing, If we're enemies.” Charlotte.

“Yes. It is like that. You won't be happy to see me happy. You want me to suffer because of this marriage and fear you.”

Xavier was silent for a moment. Looking at Charlotte is meaningful. “Do you still hate me?”

“Should I answer it. You know it.” replied Charlotte ketus and even more fed up with Xavier.

Xavier looked out the window in the mirror. Her chest feels hot. For some reason, when Charlotte said she hated him, her chest felt tight. A really strange feeling. Not even if he is easily provoked by emotions like this. Even his enemies who thirst for power. Xavier doesn't understand. How to make Charlotte obey him. And follow his will. If he wants to make peace for Grandpa.

After the debate, the dinner went in silence. Xavier and Charlotte were both silent. Looking at the silent Xavier, a feeling of guilt arose within Charlotte. He felt he was overreacting in speaking.  Charlotte put down her spoon and looked at Xavier.

“Sorry.”

Xavier looked up, “I've spoken carelessly to you. I hope you understand my position now. I always get carried away by emotions when you bully me. Especially regarding marriage.” Charlotte meant it. Really feel guilty.

“Tak problems. I've been used to receiving other people's hatred.” Answer Xavier. Xavier took the water and drank it again. The man did not finish his remaining dinner.

“I piss you off huh?” ask Charlotte.

“No. Why?”

“Your food didn't you spend?”

Xavier just glanced at the food. “I'm full.”

Xavier looked back. His hands clenched staring at the glittering lights of the city.

“Nih.” Suddenly, Charlotte feeds Xavier's mouth. Xavier was of course surprised to see Charlotte's attitude. He just silently stared in confusion at Charlotte.

“It feels good. Try.” Still extending his hand which held the spoon filled with shrimp.

“No. You're the one who ate.” Reject Xavier.

“Come on, just try a little.” Urged Charlotte is now standing next to Xavier.Terus forced Xavier to accept the food he gave.

“Not necessary. I'm not hungry.” Xavier turned his face away.

“Jeez, still stubborn huh. Anyway, I have to eat. Come.”

Charlotte keeps forcing Xavier's mouth open. Xavier refused and avoided. Until finally, Charlotte's body was powerless to hold the weight of her body, staggered forward and almost hit Xavier. Fortunately, the man was quick to catch Charlotte until the woman's body sat in the man's lap. Xavier's left hand was perfectly circular at Charlotte's slender waist. Their faces are very close.

That opportunity Charlotte used quickly to feed her food into Xavier's mouth. Charlotte giggled happily at Xavier's playful reaction as the food filled her mouth.
