Tok Tok Tok!

“Excuse the Big Lord.” Dean went into the ward where Charlotte had been transferred. Grandpa sat by Charlotte's bedside, the woman lying weakly there with her eyes closed. Seeing Dean enter, Grandpa immediately turned his head.

Dean came in and William was behind him. The Xavier Guards were walking with their heads bowed.

“What's up?” asked Grandfather with furrowed brows.

“Master, there's something I want to say.” William is speaking.

“Speak.” Grandpa.

“Big Master, we better find another room. I'm afraid Miss Charlotte is distracted.” Dean's Advice.

“Ya. Come with me.” Grandpa walked first. Dean asks Dona to keep Charlotte in the meantime. The three of them went out together.

Shortly after, Xavier entered the room where his wife was being treated. He had prepared a good reason to tell Grandpa.

“Welcome Mr.” Dona who noticed the arrival of her master entered, immediately stood up and greeted her. Xavier cleared his throat in return, now looking at the frail female figure lying on the hospital bed. The pretty face that she had always longed for now turned pale with her eyes closed tightly. The man will sleep. The shadow of the events in the Mansion comes back to haunt Xavier.

He almost lost the woman. His plan had failed and it was precisely a sense of regret that rained down on the deepest recesses of his heart. He wanted to kill the boy, but his wife's life was at stake! You idiot! Those words kept ringing in his mind. He will admit that his mistakes will not be forgiven!

Xavier sat down by Charlotte's side. He held his wife's hand gently. Kiss it with love. Suppose the woman knew how she had to hurt him, the pain increased with the sins she committed. Xavier was tormented to see Charlotte in such pain.

He glanced at Charlotte's stomach with a pus. Initially when he thought of his wife had ‘cheating’ (in his mind only) the desire to get rid of the child was increasing every day. But when he managed to do that, everything turned into regret that tortured him greatly. He was afraid to imagine what if his wife left him? What if the woman knew the great sin she had committed? Charlotte would have hated him!

Xavier's body trembled, he could not imagine life without her! Should he give up this time? Accept everything that woman has? Including the child in her stomach?

Xavier closed his eyes, setting his heart to everything that would happen to them. He did not want to lose his wife, languished alone, he had decided to accept the child!

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!!”

Xavier turned his head to hear Grandpa's thunderous voice filling his eardrums. Grandpa walked closer. His face reddened, his eyes wide open and his jaw hardened revealing the veins of his face. The man's lips were tightly clenched.

“Kek?”

“Build you bajing*n!! Don't touch my granddaughter! You're a demon, you're a murderer!!” Grandpa grabbed Xavier's collar and pulled him until he fell on the floor. Dean, William and Dona screamed softly at Grandpa's rude attitude.

“Kek, what's-“

“Don't call me Grandpa! I DON'T HAVE A DISGUSTING GRANDSON LIKE YOU!!” Grandpa's voice was very loud. It may be able to wake the patients up next to the nursery.

Xavier glanced at Charlotte, he was afraid that the woman would wake up to Grandpa's sudden emotions at this time. He quickly woke up. “We talk outside, it's up to grandpa to scold me what.” is like Persuade Xavier.

“Cih! You think I'll stop scolding you for that reason! You're a man who has no shame!!” grandpa is becoming. Grandpa pulled back the collar of Xavier's clothes until the faces of the two of them clashed very closely together. The man's teeth churned, his breath hunting as a result of the emotions that were controlling him. Xavier was confused, he did not understand why Grandpa was this angry.

“Xavi! How do you intend to kill Charlotte and her child?! Don't you have brains, Hahh! You've gone too far!!” Grandpa threw Xavier's body rough until pushed back. Xavier's eyes widened. His mouth was open in shock hearing Grandfather had figured it all out!

“Grandfather can't decide like that! I love Charlotte.”

“Love you said?! That's not Xavi's love! You hurt him! You almost got them killed by your stupid shit!” gelegar Grandpa wrathful.

“…. You got William to buy that damn drug for my great-grandchild? The devil you are Xavi! You can think shallow like that! If William doesn't buy a low-dose drug, and buys a drug like you ordered, Charlotte's life won't be saved!!” Xavier was down, he didn't know that. So, William changed the cure?

“…. You're a fool, tol*l! A man like you doesn't deserve to live in this world! If only you knew the meaning of life, you wouldn't have killed an innocent baby! He's your son! Your flesh's blood!” Grandfather kept on cursing Xavier. He didn't care if his subordinates saw them there. Grandfather was very disappointed and angry at Xavier. The grandson he was proud of, was doing the most disgusting thing in his eyes!

“D-he is not my son..” Xavier.

“Why do you think like that?! You have proof!?” exclaiming Grandpa defiant.

“Di-he cheated..”.

“We are not cheating!!”

Suddenly Fredy came into the room. He walked closer without a doubt. Xavier looked at it.

“I was expecting you to be like this Honored Mr Ferdinant Xavier? This action of yours, nothing more than an animal.” Fredy stared in anger at Xavier. “I've been quiet enough to see you do me, but now your actions are inexcusable!” said Fredy.

“Be quiet, I don't want to hear you!” xavier said back to emotions.

“You silent fool!” sidelines Fredy, his face immediately reddened. He would no longer bow to this man in front of him. “You've been late! I don't care if you destroy my business, but hurt Charlotte and the baby? Not human behavior.”

“…. You said the boy was my son? May I be honest?” bargain Fredy with a defiant look. Xavier was silent, but his chest up and down held back the emotions within him.

“…. In the past, we did love each other.” Fredy glanced softly at the lying Charlotte. “But now, he loves only one man. And that's you!” Fredy pointed firmly at Xavier's face. There was a speck of disassociation in his words.

“…. You think we slept together then? You're wrong! We were in one room with someone else! Just so you know, that day Charlotte went with me to meet a potential investor who would help her company called Mr. Harfin. But shit, my clothes got dirty unintentionally, and he borrowed my clothes. Charlotte and I came to the room with Mr. Harfin. But all of a sudden you came and saw the two of us. You just left without even hearing my explanation.”

Xavier was stunned, he wanted to reply but his voice was stuck in his throat. He was surprised of course.

“…. We never did what you thought. Charlotte is really pregnant with your child. He is innocent! If you still don't believe me, I have proof.” Fredy offers evidence in the form of a video he holds on Xavier. The video contains CCTV footage of Xavier's hotel. Fredy had indeed prepared it ever since the matter was sticking out. He had a bad feeling about it. Just in case, he asked the hotel for CCTV footage the day after the incident. “You ponder for yourself what's wrong with you. And stop making Charlotte suffer!” he concluded with a serious threat tone.

“Who dare you arrange me! If it wasn't for you trying to tease my wife, I wouldn't be acting like this! Charlotte's my wife, and I'm gonna make her happy! Get the hell out of here!” Xavier almost pulled the collar of Fredy's clothes, before the woman's shrill voice distracted him.

“Can you guys stop..” Charlotte sat weakly looking at them. The woman had woken up from her sleep.
