Maple High School Academy Year 3
The Last Chaos in Boneyard - Boneyard

Boneyards

IF ANY QUESTION asks, “What do you get after running the mission?” On that occasion Candra will answer loudly, “Finally, the laziest person to exercise can win the marathon race.” Because throughout the mission, inexplicably his thin legs continue to be forced to race fast, if there are no vehicles or contract animals that help their escape event.

Candra must withstand nausea due to the speed of Kerineia Deer. Of all the vehicles he has ever felt, the sensation of traveling with fast movement is the most undesirable thing. However, their lives eventually survived. Either the Necromancers thought of them as bully boys who would not threaten the kingdom or there was another reason. The team managed to land on the Boneyard field.

The eastern region of Autumnland, as well as the eastern border of Darksville, Boneyard state is considered quite sacred by the locals. At the Boneyard gate there is a line of residents who make exchanges with the bones carried. As he approached the Boneyard, Ashlen felt Navarro's mirror flakes tremble, as if he was getting ammunition that could explode at any moment.

Ashlen called out Candra's name, making the man turn his head. “Capture!” He threw a mirror flake, then back said, “Try to use your element, what vibration is indeed due to the area we are incandescent today or not.”

When a mirror fragment the size of an adult's palm changes hands on Candra, she also shows a similar reaction when Candra feels Lucifer's turmoil in her body. “We found it!” girang. The team gave a thumbs up, feeling the burden they were carrying was partially falling out. “How about we get into the center of Boneyard? Maybe the vibration will be more pronounced?”

Since the proposal from Candra was accepted, they agreed to break through the queue of residents at the Boneyard gate and get scorned because it was considered reckless. The team entered the Boneyard by relying on the speed of the Kerineia Deer and the ability of the Boss mimicry. So, even if they collide with the population, they will only curse the passing wind, because the existence of the team is disguised.

The vibrations on the mirrors intensified as they approached the Boneyard temple which was in a field flashlight. Darksville residents often refer to it as Offering Shrine. The magnificent building that looks striking among the field that is dominated by piles of bones is a sacred altar used by residents, especially among Necromancers to worship.

The light bias that goes into the Boneyard is less than in other Darksville areas. Although there are fungi of various sizes with a glow that helps vision, still with the lack of light intensity obtained makes it difficult for them to recognize the surrounding environment.

When Candra and team arrived at the sacred temple, she was surprised to see that it was still preserved. Because, the last time he visited the Offering Shrine in the Boneyard as a child, the temple was just an abandoned building with three-dimensional carvings of skull heads as high as the size of half a ladder. On the outside of the temple there is a spiral staircase adjacent to two giant statues with a 4-meter-high spooky face equipped with combat weapons, complete with armor and other protective equipment, and, making the existence of the statue is like a living creature that watches over the land of the Boneyard.

Unlike the big day, the Offering Shrine currently looked desolate. However, the astonishing aura of the two statues that seemed as if the look of his eyes were able to pierce through hidden beings like them, made the team uncomfortable.

“I am a coward,” said Arion slowly, his guts slightly shriveled. “However, I feel those statues are indeed .. alive.” He swallowed his saliva with a pounding heart.

“You are a coward.” Evander scoffed, looking satisfied with the fear of the Feathered Creature. “Other times, you must walk firmly with courage.” Evander's words changed with a scream, followed by the sound of a silver hammer pounding from one of the guard statues blocking their way to the center of the altar. The statue is alive!

Teams pulled back to keep their distance. Understanding the situation that allowed them to survive by fighting, the team came out from their mimicry hideout. Not only were the two large statues alive, they were also surrounded by five black-robed people with their faces covered. Those Necromancers were apparently controlling the bones in the Boneyard!

“Now I will swear, when later we make it out alive, you Chairman,” Evander points to Ashlen, “must willingly treat me a delicious meal until I am satisfied!”

“Because I live to eat, otherwise eat, means not live!” evander protests.

“Rather than thinking about your stomach, think about your life first, Evan. Free you can eat, if your life has drifted.”

“Shut up, you fucking Wizard!”

Five Necromancers and two giant temple guards become a new pressure burden for the team to complete the mission. Although they can win the fight with a battered result, but what they are after is the Aphelion time that will soon arrive! If the fight continued into the night, they would have a hard time seeing. Hence, they needed to finish this battle before evening arrived.

As always, to make time effective, teams are split in two. Where Evander and Arion will face the Necromancers and Candra with Ashlen will face the guards separately.

Evander and Arion are besieged by the Necromancers. They are not only skilled in controlling bones, but also skilled in curses and shadow magic.

Shit, we're stuck!

The Necromancers were like having backup energy despite having faced off with Evander and Arion. Honestly, Arion's state is more alarming because it is occasionally exposed to curse magic that further weakens his ability to transform. Evander chuckled, slightly regretting his actions during the trip to Darksville. Though, it was enough for him to concoct some potions if he wanted to.

“Rion, hold on a minute!” Evander divides the focus between attacking and helping to recover Arion's injuries. However, the result will still be useless if Arion maintains its defense mode. The elf knew, if Arion released his defensive wall, which was injured not only Arion, Evander would also be affected by the curse magic. However, if Arion is as stubborn as he is now, when will he heal from his injuries!

Evander was forced to remove the thought of appetizing delicacies from his cranium. He began to guess, no matter what the ability of the opponent, there must be a disability. Whatever the cuisine of the other regions, more delicious cuisine of the region itself. Oh my God, stop thinking about food!

This time not only were his eyes observing the movements of the Necromancer and directing the shot towards his arrows, but his focus was divided by trying to read the pause for the robed people to strike back. His head felt almost broken from thinking about the safety of Arion who had repeatedly removed black liquid from coughing.

Ten seconds. Target detected. Three seconds to attack, five seconds to transfer healing energy, and two seconds to defend. After solidifying his thoughts, Evander muttered softly in his heart, Alright, let's do it!

In the first three seconds, Evander used it to target the bones that were the source of the Necromancer. So, the bones are away from the battlefield. Five seconds later, he focused on healing the curse magic on Arion. Evander was grateful enough that they did not use life-threatening high-level magic, so the healing process went lacar. Although he must admit that using excessive mana will make Evander lose consciousness.

The remaining two seconds Evander used for defense by stopping the movement of the Necromancers through the ice chips that were clumping in the air, resembling a small storm that surrounded the opponent. “Now it's your turn, man!” Evander used the rest of his energy to stay awake by consuming the remaining herbs. This time, he placed his trust in Arion with his luck. Hope you don't disappoint, Arion.
