Maple High School Academy Year 3

Maple High School Academy Year 3
An Unexpected Adventure in Windville - Lost in the Fest

Lost in the Fest

THE CHEERS OF THE CROWD WITHOUT pause pierced the senses of Lyria listeners. The smell of food from the stalls, the smell of sweat emanating from everyone's body, as well as the charred smell of the stalls that were wrongly mixing magic herbs combined into one.

Lyria loved the festival very much, but at the same time also hated the crowd of people higher than her. Even though the Dwarf's body was strong, he would still feel irritated if a stranger accidentally nudged his head.

“We should find a quiet place and discuss the next step,” Mikalea said while taking a brochure placed on a small table near the gate. “I want to tell you some things about Hilarion.”

Alanon took another brochure and fanned his head. “You're right Kale, this place is very hot and noisy. Maybe we can go to the library that is usually quiet or ... to the park.”

Mikalea opened a brochure and read a map of the Wisteria Academy. He drives the road, followed by Alanon, Lyria, and the last one is Zanesha. Alanon continued to fan his head, while Lyria was amazed by the majestic architecture of the academy. The most interesting thing for Lyria is the clock tower which shows at 9:22 with a giant bell. He was always curious about how people used to be able to build a giant clock tower, especially lifting a golden bell to the top of the tower would not be easy.

Zanesha sneezed, his nose red after passing through Tunnelove. He continued to complain to himself who was born with allergic conditions of flower powder and complain to people who have built tunnels with various types of wisteria flowers. A potion stall owner student approached him, offering an allergy-relieving herb. Zanesha who was interested, intended to buy the potion. However, after Lyria realized Zanesha was not behind her, she immediately pulled the hand of her friend.

“Hey, what are you doing, Midget!” Zanesha sneezing. “I want to buy that potion, I can't stand this fucking allergy!”

“Cat, hold your allergies and think a little! You didn't see them buying with what money? The wizer! Even though the mapleaf you brought is a lot, the money will not be accepted!”

Zanesha took Lyria's hand off and returned to the potion seller. He wanted to buy the potion, but, while giving the four pieces of hexaleaf, the seller frowned.

“Sorry, what area is this money from? We cannot accept money other than those applicable at Autumnland.”

“You're kidding?” Zanesha sneezing.

The merchant looked at Zanesha suspiciously. “You really are a student of Wisteria Academy?”

Lyria came at the right time. “Please forgive my friend this one. May your trades sell well.” Lyria took the money in the hands of the seller, then again pulled Zanesha's hand. Lyria glanced here and there, but she found neither Mikalea nor Alanon. Finally, he took Zanesha to the outskirts of a building.

“Because of you, we became separated. Why don't you listen to me, anyway? I, right, told you, our mapleaf doesn't apply here.”

Zanesha rubbed his red nose. “You should understand me too, Midget. I'm allergic to flower powder!”

“My name is Lyria, not Midget!” Lyria took a breath. “Okay, all right, I was wrong. Satisfied? For now, let's make peace first. We need to see Kale and Al soon. They must be looking for us right now. You can, right, withhold that allergy, right ... Zane?”

Zanesha sneezed, then rubbed his nose. “I'll try.”

Lyria and Zanesha rejoined the crowd and walked off in an indeterminate direction. Lyria regretted not taking the brochure that was at the gate. Nor can he go back there just to pick up a brochure, the crowd in front of Tunnelove is getting crowded and he does not want Zanesha's allergy to get worse. Even though Zanesha could resist his sneezing, he still felt pity.

The two girls were now in the middle of the castle courtyard. Lyria climbed onto Zanesha's shoulders and looked around, looking for the whereabouts of Mikalea or Alanon, but nil. Too many people. Lyria also found many dragonflies flying in the sky, but it was just an ordinary dragonfly herd, not Alanon's Soul Dragonfly.

“Did you find them?”

“Wait, it looks like I saw someone we know.” Lyria squinted her eyes and focused on watching the white hair of a man. “Cyrus .... Ah, yes! He's Cyrus, Zane!”

“That gloomy leg?” Zanesha sneezing. “Why is he here too?”

“You have a grudge against him? Should we just go to him?”

“Not necessary. I don't like him.” Zanesha rubbed his nose. “Have you found Alanon and Kale now?”

“But.” Lyria came down from Zanesha's shoulders. “But, I found one interesting thing.”

“Welcome to Technosilian Go! We accept buy and sell technology equipment that you have!”

Lyria and Zanesha arrived in front of a green-tented kiosk at the far right of the castle grounds. There are a lot of things that combine technology and magic, aka Magicknology. Old stuff, very old than what Lyria used to use if in the future.

“Is that what you mean interesting, Lyria? What are you gonna do?”

Zanesha rubbed his nose. “What is it?”

“Evolcore empty. Actually I wanted to fill this with my magic earlier, so that I would have a backup when my evolblaster's evolcore ran out. However, there seems to be more important things than making this a backup.”

“You're really going to sell that?” Zanesha sneezing.

Lyria approached the stall and received a friendly smile from the stall owner's man. Zanesha noticed a black-haired student at another stall carrying a magic wand with yellow crystals on his waist before finally re-aligning his standing position with Lyria.

“Welcome to Technosillian Go, Miss Sweet. What does Miss want?” ask the seller in a black shirt with tight sleeves and a violet robe.

“I want to sell this. Evolcore. Cutting-edge technology that Elementer can use as a magic backup place.”

The salesman took the evolcore Lyria and began to observe it. “Is it true this can be used as a magic storage place, Miss?”

“Of course. I guarantee it with the Dwarven blood flowing through my body. If you are an Elementer, you can try to channel a small amount of magic energy into the Evolcore. Easy enough, then—”

The man kicked down the stall table with a surprised expedition. “You're a Dwarf?”

“Yes, of course. Although half of it is Wizard blood, I can guarantee that the evolcore works.” Lyria. “Oh yes, if you want to release the magic that you have input to evolcore, you can direct the hole to the desired target, then press the button in the middle of it. I'd like you to try it first, but since Humanfest, you better not.”

“No, no, no. I'll try it tomorrow. I believe it because you are a Dwarf. Race are experts in creating technologies that are different from the creations of other races. Forgive me who previously thought you were just a child who wanted to play around,” said the man while bowing his head.

“Not what.” Lyria smiled. “So, you will pay how much for evolcore it?”

“2 vine, 70 wizer. Is that enough?”

Lyria pouting. “Are you kidding, Mister?”

“3 vine, 20 wizer?”

“No. 3 vine 80 wizer.”

The merchant was silent for a moment. He worries about his own choice. “Good, 3 vine 50 wizer. I hope nothing more than that, Miss. I don't bring much money now.”

Lyria held onto her chin before finally smiling. “OK, deal!”

The merchant opened the drawer, counted the money a few moments later gave the bag filled with money. Lyria and the merchant shook hands and left.

“Indeed, Dwarves are so respected like that?” ask Zanesha.

“Kata my grandfather, Dwarf is very respected first. When the Dwarves say, ‘I guarantee with Dwarf blood that flows in my body,’ when selling goods, then anyone dares to pay dearly for the goods. Dwarves will not sell failed items, roughly like that Grandpa said. However, over time and more advanced technology, Dwarf became less respected.”

Lyria walked towards the potion stall, bought two bottles of allergy-relieving herbs for 10 wizers, then gave them to Zanesha.

Zanesha downed one bottle straight away. His nose was red and his allergy subsided in an instant. “I owe you one, Lyria.”

“You really should!” Lyria held her thin lips together. “Oh, yes, I saw that you were watching a man constantly. What's up?”

“No. I only felt a great magic power from him .. or rather from the crystal in the magic wand and the item he hid behind his pouch.”

“Not all sticks have magic energy? Then what's in his pocket?”

Zanesha. “That wand has the most powerful energy of any other magic wand I have ever encountered. If it's in his pocket, I don't know what it looks like. I only knew there was an item there from her magic energy.”

A Dragonfly Soul suddenly approached and perched on top of Lyria's head. The dragonfly flew back and circled in front of the two girls, as if beckoning.

“It looks like Alanon's Soul Dragonfly. Let's follow him, Zane.”
