Time for Adventure
LYRIA GROUNDROSE LOOKED UP, looking up at the blue sky after she bounced a few meters and hit the tree trunk around the Well of Time. He stood up, cleaned his violet skirt and robe out of the dirt, then flashed a smile. Despite not knowing the reason why his clothes changed into a uniform with the Wisteria Academy logo, he still felt happy because this was the beginning of the adventure he always dreamed of.
Unlike Lyria, the condition of friends in her group is inversely proportional. Alanon Chlorofia, a Zaadia-blooded man with green hair and eyes, holds his stomach and spits out its contents. Zanesha, the Werewolf was lying unconscious, and finally was Mikalea Midagad, a Fallen Angel and the only member of Lyria's group who could still stand despite having to hold a tree trunk.
“Hey, Why are you still fine after getting out of there, Magical Boy?” asked Alanon who was now sitting down, then spewed back his stomach fluid into the bushes.
Lyria stared in disdain, there was no intention to help at all even though she kept two bottles of water in her grimoire. For him, the name of a child, a child, or anything else that describes his figure as a child is an insult.
Zanesha muttered and looked dazedly around. The red-haired girl with the short cut was holding her belly, then doing the same thing as Alanon in another bush.
Lyria held a forehead. For the first time, he is grateful to be born a Dwarf after seeing both of his classmates helpless and destroy the beginning of an adventure that should be exciting as in the story of the hero. Lyria turned her head, looking at Mikalea who was still holding the tree trunk to stand up.
“Kale, you're fine, right?”
“I'm fine,” replied Mikalea while removing her grip on the tree trunk. “How about you?”
“Sure I'm fine. Dwarf has strong body and magic resistance.” Lyria flicked her left braid hair and ruffled her waist. “Although I am small, I am not weak like those who keep vomiting.” Lyria glanced back at Alanon and Zanesha.
A dragonfly came out of the pocket of Alanon's white shirt and flew across Lyria. After a while, the dragonfly disappeared and returned with a few seeds and dropped one into the hands of each member, except Lyria. The seed turned into a green tendril that pierced the palms of Alanon, Zanesha, and Mikalea.
“Not Mr. Navarro forbid us to use magic when coming out of the well?” ask Zanesha.
Alanon breathing. “It's not here, so we won't get caught. After all, this is an instant way to cure dizziness and nausea. You don't want to, either, do you, keep spewing out the bowels in this place?”
Zanesha.
It didn't take long, the condition of the three Maple Academy students began to improve. “We seem to have recovered. Now what are we going to do?” ask Zanesha while helping Alanon stand up. “Wah, I just realized that we wear different uniforms.”
“Of course we will go to the castle,” replied Lyria while pointing to the large building at the top of the steep corals. “We have to find information megenai Hilarion. Yeah, right, Kale?”
Mikalea nodded. “You're right.”
Lyria raised her fist into the air and widened her smile. “For the sake of destroying the Mirror of Time and being the hero who saved the world, let's go!”
“You overestimate too much, Magic Boy,” taunts Alanon.
The unaccepted Lyria immediately kicked Alanon's shins and left him when the well came back making a strange sound.
Lyria, Mikalea, Alanon, and Zanesha walked hand in hand through a row of trees around the Well of Time. They traverse the tombolo connecting the island of Well of Time with the rugged coral islands, where the Wisteria Academy castle is located. Entities such as magical animals and plants that they first saw became friends along the way.
“Mong-by the way, are they joking with giving us the task to steal and destroy the Time Mirror of a person who is arguably just as powerful as them?” Zanesha leaped three steep steps between two corals. ”We are thrown into the past, moreover we are also not given the slightest information about the Hilarion. So ridiculous!”
Lyria jumped over the steps one by one with ease. “Then from that we have to find information first,. Are you stupid? Looking for information is also one of the excitement of the so-called adventure, know!”
“I'm not stupid, Midget!”
“You're also a midget for the size of a wolf! Another werewolf has a tall and large body, you are short and skinny like a wild cat.”
The veins on Zanesha's face appeared and both of his hands were already clenching fists. However, he decided to shut up after seeing Mikalea land next to him while helping Alanon. They went back on their way, passing the still winding road.
Minutes passed, the sounds of the crowd finally sounded in their ears. After climbing the last rung of stairs, the source of the crowd they heard was seen in front of the gate. The spirit that decreased during the journey through the steep coral that uphill and meandering, back up.
Alanon looked around enthusiastically, while Lyria pulled on Mikalea's sleeves. “Kale, can you please lift me up? Take it easy, my body is not heavy, kok.”
Mikalea nodded and raised Lyria's body, making the petite figure in the group able to see what she wanted from the start. The focus of the girl was fixed on the outer courtyard in front of the academy gate which stood gallantly. There were light purple colored flowers poking out from the passageway after the gate called Tunnelove. A group of Magic Knights patrol, watching over anyone not to use magic during the Humanday.
“At the time of Humanday, Wisteria Academy will usually open the gate to the public. Even so, on this festival day as well all the races living in the Autumnland should not use magic, power, change, and others. Everyone must act like an ordinary human being who has no power. In the cities in Autumnland there will usually be supervisors who guard the course of this festival,” explained Lyria while getting off the shoulders of Mikalea.
“Hey, Magical Boy, we'd better hurry in. I don't like this hot place,” said Alanon.
“How many times have I told you, don't call me a Magical Boy! Actually, what kind of grudge do you have, anyway, until you keep saying it like that? Not in dorm, not in class, not in lab.” Lyria pointed at Zanesha. “If you want to bully people, just plop that ferocious protesting cat!”
Zanesha wanted to protest, but was immediately cut off by Mikalea.
“You guys will keep fighting and wasting our time here? Come on in and find information about Hilarion,” said Mikalea while looking at the three members alternately. The three of them looked at each other and finally followed Mikalea's footsteps from behind.
“You guys, hell,” ketus Lyria.
Lyria, Mikalea, Alanon, and Zanesha queued to enter the gate. Mykalea was at the front, followed by Alanon, and Lyria was holding Alanon's clothes, and finally Zanesha.
Some people complained about the length of the examination, some chose silence, and some others—including Zanesha—implays an open protest. “Why should there be a check like this, anyway? Just piss people off!”
Lyria turned around with a flat face. “You stupid? Everything must be checked. If there was someone from outside the academy carrying dangerous items how? We, right, don't know if there is someone who would smuggle something with bad intentions. Do you want to be responsible?”
As he spoke, the person beside Lyria involuntarily elbowed his head. Lyria glared even though the person who had elbowed her had apologized. Zanesha laughed with satisfaction.
Five minutes outside the gate was hell for Lyria. The closer it is to the gate, the more hands it puts on its head. He continued to glare at the elbowing crowd, accompanied by Zanesha's laughter from behind. He tugged at Alanon's clothes, but the man did not respond.
“I hate to be short,” muttered Lyria after finally escaping the examination. Lyria ran over to Mikalea and Alanon waiting in Tunnelove. The wisteria flowers that became icons of the Wisteria Academy hang from the ceiling of the tunnel without any gaps. The distinctive smell of the flower is striking and feels comfortable in Lyria's nose. The petals of the contrasting wisteria flower fall down along the way, creating a feeling of calm. Everyone who came, except Zanesha, would definitely fall in love with this tunnel.
The deeper they walked, the brighter the light from the other side. They also arrived at the Wisteria Academy castle courtyard which was filled with frenetic celebration of the festival.
