Emgel
THE CLOSEST REGION OF Apex is Emgel. It was the residence mansion of the branch royal family. Maybe because the lighting is dimming or because of the topography of Emgel that seems like a dungeon especially with the background of the sky that emits lightning, adding to the gloom of the region. The rainy season seems to be hitting Darksville.
Given the darkening day and the team's much drained manpower, relying on the remaining potion sales from the Potion Industry, they rented a patch of rooms to rearrange the strategy. What's more, even though many places in Darksville they haven't been to, the precision of choosing the region with the highest element of darkness is a top priority. Aphelion time will start tomorrow night.
Candra drew a map of the Darksville area from the remaining paper. If there are four regions marked with a circle by the Wizard. “This is Emgel which is our destination tomorrow, then there is Ragetog and Garden of Dawn in the north, lastly there is Boneyard in the southeast.” Candra reaffirmed the region marked Emgel. “If tomorrow we come to this region, we must decide to go to the north or southeast region.”
“If we go to the northern region, we are also faced with two options. Ragetog or the Garden of Dawn, right? What do you think, Chairman?” This time Evander seems more flexible in controlling his emotions, maybe his brain is too stuck to think about food.
“In addition to Emgel, we must choose the right region. Regardless of where it is. Take optimal steps, for maximum results.” Ashlen looked at his younger brother alternately, then again said, “We must think carefully, by obtaining a deal, minimize losses and increase the percentage of success.”
“Wah, Chairman, in addition to being good at nagging, it turns out you are a shrewd person beautifying the word, yes?” cetus Arion suddenly deviated from the discussion.
“Honestly, the atmosphere of wisdom just left me touched. However, it suddenly failed miserably because of your talk just now.”
Evander joined the voice, “This time I have one voice with you, Boy Skinny.”
“Good kids, let's just say I've tired of taking care of you to make me need treatment to relax the nerves so as not to look older than the Headmaster. That's right, right, Silver?” Ashlen's sarcastic words were shown to someone who this time felt cornered because they felt attacked from various sides.
“Can I fly the white flag this time?” he said with nelangsa.
“New first time I see animal feces can emit light as beautiful as this. I feel like crying so much I can't believe.” Arion remains a creature whose lips are able to speak nonstop.
Evander regretted his decision to approve Candra's proposal. He was forced to walk while holding dirt from Shine animals that can emit light.
“Heh, Skinny Boy! Can't you really create a light spell?”
Candra nodded, though somewhat doubtful. “Purpose light spells in Darksville have high levels. I can do it, but only once. For the rest, I will lose my mana from casting that spell.”
The Fallen Angel nobleman with the Elf's body moaned, then sneered softly, “Sama only this time you become a burden in the team.”
“Evan, shut up or I'll tell you to be quiet all day!” Ashlen's threat is most powerful to mute the talk of his team.
Not just anyone can visit Emgel. Even if they quibbled by showing false identities, which Candra had modified using spells to survive during the checking process, the team could not enter the core of the Emgel mansion like the original plan. However, having no ties to the Humanday and Beerfest festivals, Ashlen borrows Boss' powers in mimicry to settle into Emgel's core chamber.
The contract animal Ashlen has three children who have different skills. Boss himself can make the Ashlen he is holding invisible. The Eldest, who took Arion's hand, made the mature brown-skinned man able to walk silently through the land intermediary. While the Middle Child who accompanied Evander was able to make the look of the Elf similar to the Keeper Emgel.
Lastly, there is the Bungsu, looks hesitant when about to come into contact with Candra. Though from the appearance of the appearance, the face of Candra is the most friendly. Perhaps it was due to Lucifer's energy from his body that this Boss' youngest son was holding Candra in fear. He was able to make Candra duplicate herself as three perfect shadows. However, due to a weakness that cannot hide itself from the pairs of eyes of the Emgel Guards, so that in addition to pairing with the Bungsu, Candra also holds on to Ashlen who is able to help him become invisible.
The Bungsu duplicates mirror fragments, although imperfect and shares them with each team mate. “Although not like the original mirror flake, but when the duplicate was on the thick dark element, the mirror would definitely react. The rest, we will gather in Emgel's court at lunchtime.” Ashlen's instruction ended the company of those who walked separately down the Emgel passages silently.
Emgel is filled with myths that the building is made of giant bones. Due to getting results with his bare hands, Arion who does not believe in the myth of the bones of the Giant Creature that has long existed, even nosy by sprinkling holy basil powder whose essence is opposite to Gloongi so as to trigger the rise of Gigantic Bones buried under Emgel.
Boss has told his three children to rest because the livelihood ended nil. However, due to the actions of the Arion, Gigantic Bones buried in the Emgel court emerged from the ground. The vibration of his presence propagated the alertness of the Emgel Guards. If the team did attack the bone monster, of course it would raise suspicion of the Menhera noble family. In fact, it could be that they would be designated as royal fugitives. A tempting accomplishment, right? Therefore, they could only escape without inflicting severe damage on Emgel.
Candra awakens Lucifer, the only dark spirit who has a contract with her. By relying on Lucifer to resist the bone monster's movements, Arion also rubs against the bone through its poisonous claws. Meanwhile, Evander and Ashlen prepare for the escape route. The Emgel Guard troops galloped rapidly towards them. Due to the priority of Guard Emgel securing the royal residence, Ashlen's team's hazy stunt appears to be ignored. However, it turns out that there are still special Necromancer troops trained by the government to pursue vandals like them. Lothawat!
