LIFE (Han, Ian, Dina, Ute & Pras)
Ep. 28 (part 1) Family (Han, I., D. & P.)

...~ HAN ~...

“What? You got that hot boyfriend Ute, but haven't you rasain too?” the surprised question of a friend I was having a discussion about Ute was spontaneous.

His crisp voice resonated loudly throughout the guesthouse and was silent all over the guesthouse from end to end. Right now we are standing facing the sink tidying up our upper appearance. My friend's mouth was still covered in foam because he spoke while brushing his teeth.

“Hey, your voice is less loud, it seems like the one on plot E has not heard your announcement!” my words sarcartis mentions the furthest part of the plot A our homestead.

“We heard Han kog, but please also confirmed the articulation of your conversation, sometimes like to be carried away by the wind of clarity.” replied someone from the end of the guesthouse followed by the laughter of the king of the entire guesthouse.

“Great.. ha-ha-ha. thank you guys.” I replied again with the heat that I felt running through this cheek, this cheek, then I sat at the foot of my bed and rubbed back the flaky hair I had just neatly combed, lowered my head, trying my best to ignore the curious listeners.

“Sorry. but not like a Han if hesitating like this. You're not BTL –a direct-firing gun in Han's true sense? Isn't Julius Emperor's Vini-Vidi-Vici still the motto of your life?” ask my friend again while sitting at the foot of his own bed and take out his PDH shoes from his bed drawer.

“Veni-Vidi-Vici by Julius Caesar.” coreksiku slowly.

“What?” tanyanya did not understand and added: “ Anyway, you have been a conqueror like the Emperor of Rome, until you have all the fans of the club.. why is it now so flattened like a desperate Jaka Tarub and must hide an angel's shawl to be able to marry him?” my friend's question reverberated while at a glance he smelled black socks that I don't know how many times he wore from inside the shoes and of course made my stomach a little disgusted.

If it wasn't because I'd known him for 3 years or more, I might have run to the toilet to throw up.

“Not that we never make outrages also seh actually.” erratku defend himself.

But cut it with: “Well but graduating from a school of cinema without ever feeling the Women of Praja the stuff of the two-dashes does not seem to make you less contributing to the level of delinquency of the king!” said my friend again with absurd logic and for the millionth time I hope that my friend can feel ashamed to say words like not thought of before.

“She is still young bro.. and seems to have never dated either.” I whispered withhold ‘sadness’ that increasingly burns this cheek (if it can get hot again, again, my cheek must have exploded) very inversely proportional to my friend who is often excessive and does not know the meaning of the word.

“And you should be acting like a good senior who introduced him to the world of enjoyment bro! He does not need to know that you are also in fact not experienced in life ***.” he said again with more shamelessness. Now we have sat facing each other behind a bed with full PDH.

“Hey..life ****-I'm fine and not for consumption of non-interested people who steal listen to other people's conversations!” I said finally full of emotion while pulling the muts from the power fold on my left shoulder and walking out the homestead.

“You know it's true bro..” said his friend earlier when he caught up with me. Then add: “When you graduate, you will leave it at this Knightrian, which is full of ideal postured Praja and has normal vision so that you know beautiful and sexy women like your Ute can not be left alone for long. Not only his senior or a classmate would try his luck approaching Ute, but even his juniors. Oh not to mention the young lecturers or single nannies who will try too.. You have to leave your mark on her man.A trail she won't forget and hopefully keep her faithful.”.

For a moment I was silent, but then replied: “Hei bro, that Ute is not a street female wagging her tail while waiting for the nearest male interested in approaching her, put that thing in and go!”

My friend laughed back and forth at my analogy and raised his hand with a sign of giving up while moving away when he saw the angry look I gave off because of his laughter.

But the ‘asal’ sentences spoken by my friend did contain rational warnings and it haunted my mind all day, even still ringing the next morning, when I picked up my family (Among/Dad, Inong/Mother and of course my only sister Hanna) at Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport.

...***...

“Let us nginep where bang?” asked my sister shortly after the four of us (with Dad/Among and My Mom/Inong) got into the car.

“Ish this brother, if you already know, why do I ask again brother?” hanna's grunts then sounded.

“Klean both of these yes, if far away from kangen-kenan like has long time no meet, but the turn has met, just a moment has been born klean!” said Among scolding us but in his heart must feel amused, visible from his smile that they sit beside me. Then as remembered, he added: “But it's true that Han, no one have you said we will catch where later?”

“At my underclassman's house Among. It has been booked out from far away that day Equatorial guesthouses and hotels around the Ksatrian for these times. Well incidentally, the sister's family has a house near Ksatrian and she offers her house to be able to live in our family while still in Jatinangor.” replied I am polite.

“Hm, ga ngerepotin his family later we ‘mang?” inong's voice asked from behind.

“His family lives in Jakarta Inong. There's only a pangurupi in that guy's house right now. The sister is a nawarin kog and has permission from her family as well.” replied me again. (pangurupi \= ART/household assistant/helper in batak language everyday -red)

“Who is this brother-class sister apparently? Good time he's bargaining at his house huh? Your new boyfriend?” asked Hanna again, looks began to be interested in re-examining his brother.

“Not have a boyfriend brother, but his best friend deck. You already know kog, but if you have somewhat forgotten yes later I introduce again lah.” said me again.

“Cie who has moved on and has a new girlfriend.” seduce my sister again while walking my back shoulder.

I just smiled glancing towards the rearview mirror, feeling happy.

Suddenly Inong's voice came back: "Unang hosom roham tujolma nahasea, ala dang taboto aha na korbanhon lao reached hason i." (translation \= Do not envy a successful person because we do not know what he has sacrificed to achieve that happiness.)

‘I fell silent again and remembered Dina and Ute, also Ian and Pras. ach, soon my foster family will meet with this original family. Can't wait it feels..’ my inner laugh.

...***...

Without feeling, 4 hours had passed and the day had come to an afternoon when we reached the house owned by the Ian family who was still standing.

The four people who had been very close to me lately, had indeed been waiting in the yard of Ian's house, as they said this morning.

While I parked the car on the left side of the carport, they looked compact out the front door and stood neatly on the bottom steps of Ian's house. Then without hesitation greeted my parents and sister with their warm smiles.

“Among, Inong and Hanna. Introduce this to our foster family. This is Ute, this one is Ian from Jakarta, our host, you have met at the equatorial guesthouse first. This is Pras from Jepara and this is Dina, who is now Pras.” girlfriend, I said a little surprised them. But without saying anything, they shook hands with each other and Inong even hugged Dina tightly, after he hugged Ute no less tightly. (Halet \= girlfriend)

The interaction that follows feels natural and as it should be. Indeed, if everything is in place, then life will feel more comfortable. ‘Thank God’ my inner breathing is relieved.
