LIFE (Han, Ian, Dina, Ute & Pras)
Ep. 14 Senior oh Senior (2).. (Dina and Ute perspective)

...~ DINA ~...

My love story with ka’Han, a senior worship of many women on earth Jatinangor, especially Praja Perempuan keresatrian, has lasted about 5 months at this time.

The relationship we both keep remains in a secret mode, not just for the sake of keeping my life calm, as Madya Praja (level 2 of the school) I still have 2 senior forces who could be lured into his fad in the name of his love story, which is considered like a punguk miss the moon (me and a ka’Han is not comparable in terms of economy and popularity), and, but also because actually I am still not convinced of the sincerity of love ka’Han and my own sincerity in establishing this relationship.

It was still clearly reflected in my mind, the incident at the gate of the PKD ksatrian, when for the first time me and ka'Han were arguing, there was a surprising sense of interest at that time, but at the same time, there was a surprising interest, ka'Han also did not try to cover up his interest in a reddish-haired Female Praja Candidate who was very beautiful.

Even when a while later, unintentionally, I saw the two back together, walking in tandem toward the Training Building. The two looked seriously talking without paying attention around, looking harmonious, one was handsome and well-bodied, while the other was very beautiful and beautiful in face, named Ute.

I realized, if at the second time there was no commitment between me and ka'Han, but there was no sense of inferiority and no confidence when compared to the beautiful Praja-young, who was very young, what I later learned is that Ute is a rich girl who also has many fans.

On several occasions being able to cruise with ka'Han, I had crossed my desire to ask what a Ute meant to ka'Han.

Why did ka'Han finally choose me to be a lover instead of Ute? Maybe because there was a rejection? Which means I'm just a stunt double, well with more consideration than nothing?

But the questions were not thrown, between shame asked or worry the answers to be delivered will only hurt my own heart.

...***...

"Hey Madya Praja!" Dina heard the screams from the direction of Wisma Jabar, where senior Nindya Praja Perempuan lives, who happened to be in her path after meeting to have a quick chat with ka'Han in the Plaza Atas square.

I turned my face toward the source of the voice, making sure that it was me who had just been called.

"Yes you deck Madya, come here for a second!" order a Nindya Women Praja who looks fierce and sturdy like a bodybuilder with a tight T-shirt that increasingly accentuates his muscles.

Walking towards her, I saw a Young Women Praja standing in the courtyard of the guesthouse, Ute, surrounded by several other Nindya Women Praja people, who had also been wearing t-shirts and casual training. At first glance I saw Ute's eyes glancing at my face and signboard. Oh looks like this sister is being less fortunate to face the campus tigers idly. Maybe more unlucky than me, because after all he's still the lowest junior, while I've been a little senior.

"Good afternoon, brother!" sapaku while giving PPM when it was in front of the muscular Nindya Women Praja earlier.

"Sore deck!" si-senior replied casually, only nodding her face at a glance to reply to my PPM and again saying: "Try facing that Young man and cover your sign!"

"Young Grandpa, do you know the name of this Madya?" si-nindya said towards Ute who looked back at the senior without showing any fear.

"Who knows brother, this is ka'Dina from South Sulawesi" replied Ute loudly after looking at me at a glance.

"Oh so you want to just know Madya, but don't want to know Nindya huh?"

"You don't know any of us here! Turn asked the name of Madya who happened to pass you know.. That's great.."

"Are you more afraid of Madya than Nindya?"

"Or is already the girlfriend of Wasana Praja so can be hesitant? Don't feel the need to know Nindya again?"

The senior brothers who were fussing on Ute started babbling one by one. Trying to scare and knock out the mentality of Ute, whose hero seemed undaunted in the least.

"Hey Madya, do you think it's good for Young Praja's attitude like this?" ask the muscular senior again to me.

"Ready brother!" my answer is firm even though I keep showing (clearly) the fear I made up. "Izin if I may I will build this sister brother." beg me later.

"What are you gonna do?" tanyanya became interested. Well indeed many seniors like to borrow the hands of their juniors to vent their grudges to even lower juniors. It seems like this afternoon was also the case.

"Ready, permission if I may, I will give him periodic punishment at Wisma Madya sis!" I said again, which means that on a regular basis, I will require Ute to face and receive physical punishment from me at the Wisma Madya, which will certainly invite the attention of many other Madyas who are at home with me.

Grinning a scary aga, the senior then said: "Okey, you build your Young sister, until it is a deterrent!"

"Ready brother!" I said quickly, approaching Ute from behind, pushing the back of his head to look down at the seniors with my left hand and then while pulling Ute's hand I slowly said: "Izin kak, I, good afternoon brother.."

Walking with this beautiful junior, I suddenly remembered the old man's advice:

“Ritomainge'e eppa' masero madecceng: first namaiseiwi topurae mamaseiwi, mudunna tenri ellauwi nabbere, temmattajeng pamale', matellunna tulung ngengnggi sukara'na taue risingangna pattulung, maeppa'na mappangaja' lettu' riperu'e. (Translation: For a person of long memory, there are four very good things: his beginning pityes the person who once pitied him, secondly giving without being asked and not waiting for retribution, thirdly helping people's difficulties completely, thirdly helping people's difficulties completely, the fourth is to give sincere advice)

‘What a burden to have parents who are full of advice and wise advice. Although not all can be applied in everyday life, but the values that can be instilled, inevitably already internalized and force this body to do things that are logically unnecessary. Haish..’ my inner nelangsa.

...~ UTE ~...

My wrist is still in his grasp. We walked away from the West Java guesthouse and the prank seniors, with their own black auras, who lived there.

But near the Maluku guesthouse, where I live, ka'Dina (with her light blue aura) let go of my hand and said: "There's no harm in showing fear in front of the senior deck prankster, let's just say you're playing a cowardly role in this world of theatrics."

"Why?" my question was short, curious about his attitude which had always looked closed, but it turned out to be very kind.

"They won't be satisfied and stop ngisengin you if you continue to show a brave attitude of defiance like this!" he answered loudly with a blushing aura of self, but a moment of turning blue again, "And why do you waste your precious energy and time just to serve their fad? There are still many other more useful things you can do deck."

"Ready brother. Thank you for your kindness." I replied at last.

A moment later Ka'Dina moved to sit in the cement vault that framed the tree at this fork in the road, then she patted the stand next to her, asking me to sit there too. His aura again emitted a bright light blue color almost like a peaceful green.

"Every sister, once again thank you brother.." I answered involuntarily followed by a smile, probably because it felt a little amused and also happy, as if to find a brother and also a friend, as if, a partner in crime (a partner in crime).

We were silent for a moment. Enjoy the breeze of this refreshing afternoon, trying to soak in the peace and tranquility of the heart.

I also remembered a story I had read in the story of 1001 night, about a wise man who felt he had 2½ friends.

To be clear, here is the story:

...***...

In a land of Antah Berantah, there lived a wealthy Arab merchant named Zainal Abidin. He has a child that he cares for lovingly. More and more today this child grows into a manly and high-minded young man.

One day, Zainal Abidin called his son and said: "In this life, in addition to the possessions we have today, we also need to have faithful friends who are always willing to help us when we need them. Son, take this money and find friends like you said!"

Armed with some of that money, his son went out of town and looked for some friends as ordered by his father. After meeting some capable people who are considered worthy and like-minded, he also agreed to make friends with these people. Then he went home.

Arriving at home, his father asked: ”You have left this house for so long to find a friend, please tell your father this, how many of your friends are now 'son?”

”Daddy, since leaving this house, I have met a lot of people. Currently there are 50 people that I can make friends and I think they are really sincerely friendly with me.” replied the proud child.

“Good son, although I have lived more than 60 years, but I only have 2½ friends and in fact you are better than me. Can you invite your friends to our house? Because dad wants to hold a Thanksgiving event next week.”

On the appointed day, gathered 50 of his children's friends at home and after finishing eating said Zainal Abidin: ”O my children's friends, I am so glad that you all came to this house. My purpose in inviting all of you is because I want to ask your opinion regarding the calamity that befell my son. My son has been accused of having an affair with the King's daughter and you know my son did not do the damned deed but the King does not believe him. Tomorrow morning, the King's army will come to this house and arrest my son."

“Im sorry sir.. We were very afraid of dealing with the King and we could do nothing. If it wasn't a problem with the King, we would have sided with this friend of ours.." some of his son's friends twitched and immediately volunteered to go home.

But suddenly one of them said: “I will accompany my best friend, no matter what happens. If the King's army comes later to arrest him, I will go with him to the King and ask for the king's mercy so that his case is thoroughly investigated and in case of any wrongdoing, in order to be forgiven. If I can't get forgiveness, I'm ready to risk my life to defy the King's orders!” loudly and fiery.

After the friends of his son returned to their respective homes, Zainal Abidin said to his son: ”You really only have one friend and the others are just your friends. A friend will be able to be with us when we are happy or difficult. Tomorrow I will call 2½ my best friend and I will introduce you.”

The next day, Zainal Abidin called three of his friends to come home. He asked each other the news and busy.

Then Zainal Abidin said: ”My friends, actually the purpose I call you is because I want to ask your opinion about the disaster that hit my son. He was accused of having an affair with the King's son and tomorrow the King's army will come to arrest my son to be sentenced to death. You all know that my son really did not do such contempt and it was just slander.”

Said one of them: ”Let's go. Before the King's army comes, I will tap the King and offer all my treasures to take the life of your son.”

Another said: ”I will ask the King to take my life in exchange for the life of your son because I am old and have been content to enjoy this life. Let your young son continue to live to enjoy the days ahead.”

The third friend spoke up: ”My advice is that I will soon meet the King and offer all my property. If the King does not want to, I will convince him that he will take my life in exchange for the life of your son.”

After that, they hugged each other to go home and asked Zainal Abidin to immediately give further news about this matter.

Then Zainal Abidin said to his son: ”You see my son, why do I say I only have 2½ friends? Because one can only sacrifice his wealth and for me he is ½ friends. Another was willing to sacrifice his life and the last was able to give his treasure and also his life as a sign of our friendship. Here's the value of sincerity in friendship.”

...***...

For some reason, remembering this story, I felt close, comfortable and familiar with the figure of a full friend who came out of a Dina.

I was determined to emulate Dina's kindness and make Dina a friend she would follow her direction.

My admiration increased when ka’Dina again added: “There is a wise sentence of the Bugis who said: Aja' mumacennimpegang, aja'to mumapai wegang, nasaba' macennimpegakko riemme'ko, mapai' wegakko riluwako. The translation is like this: Don't be too sweet or kind, but don't be too bitter or bad. For if you are too sweet you will be swallowed or possessed, but if you are too bitter or bad you will be spewed and hated. So the good thing is to act reasonably.”

‘Bijak banged ga seh ka’Dina this?’ my mind while nodding shows understanding with his thoughts. Visible aura ka’Dina increasingly greenish blue, showing her deep thoughts.

After that, we went back silent for a while. Enjoy the breeze of the afternoon blowing our kids hair.

"Oh yes, you were mentioned to be dating Wasana Praja, who is the lucky man if I may know?" ka'dina's question broke the silence between them. A yellow aura approached the orange back out, showing the ignorance of his new best friend.

"Oh that's ka'Han kak.. ka'Dina must know right?" I replied straightforwardly, immediately astonished for the sake of seeing the gloomy purplish radiance from the aura of ka'Dina, but it gradually became red and eventually faded into pink.

"Ka'Han huh? Since when are you guys dating?" I asked slowly a few moments later.

"We have never dated brother, it was just a senior-senior accusation earlier. Ka'Han isn't my type sis.. Maybe ka'Dina kale type huh?" I said again trying to pry information on the reason for the change in aura that seemed to explode very suddenly earlier.

"It could be you." replied ka'Dina with a pink aura that was getting stronger in color. My guess turned out to be right. There's something between ka'Han and ka'Dina.

"What type of you are you?" tanya ka'Dina again emanated a bright yellow aura encompassing the previous pink radiance.

Without being able to hold back for a whim, I said innocently: "Like ka'Dina.."

"Remain to you." replied ka'Dina quickly as she flicked her finger at my nose, let out a greenish-blue aura again and immediately stood up, walking away towards her woman, "Udah afternoon, I said, brother back first is a beautiful sister.." pamitnya later.

"Every sister, see you when I see you yes.good afternoon ka.." replied I stood up and gave PPM towards his back. (translation: see you again when I see you)
