I'm Not a Bet

I'm Not a Bet
Two Men's Meeting (1)

Arindi threw her body on the bed. He almost crawled to get here. He sat behind the wheel for most of the day.

His hands were sore, his feet felt like they were being carried by a huge load. Although his body felt sticky, he did not care. He just wanted to close his eyes immediately.

...----------------...

Meanwhile, this afternoon.

Tristan just turned off his motor sport. He had just returned home from college after completing some paperwork for his graduation. Suddenly Rendy called.

"Why Ren?"

"Tan you ain't here?" ask Rendy to Tristan. At the moment they have a meeting of the members of the motorcycle club.

"I don't think I used to be Ren?" Tristan had no interest at all in leaving the house today because his feelings were still muddled since this morning. He forced himself to go to campus just to take care of his graduation file. If it were not for that, he would not have left.

"Lo's dating again?"

"What date? How awful loe's mouth."

"You need to lie. You're on Arindi's same road, right?" ask Rendy full of questions.

"Same street Arindi?"

"Yes Arindi. I saw the car in front of me. Same guys. That's elo. Ck! he said he wanted to come here and even the same way Arindi. Why didn't you tell Tan. I can understand if that's the reason. So go on with it!!"

The misunderstood Rendy immediately disconnects the phone without giving Tristan a chance to answer. Apparently he just wanted to make sure that the real reason Tristan wasn't there was Arindi. Without having to hear Tristan's opinion and answer again.

Tristan froze on top of his motorbike, hearing Rendy's words just now made his mind drift somewhere. He who has not recovered from the sad feeling because of the incident this morning is now coupled with news that makes his heart throb and his feelings hurt. He's fucked up balau.

Tristan grabbed his phone. He quickly contacted Arindi. The phone is connected but not answered. He repeated his call again, still not lifted despite five attempts. He also gave up.

With a gontai step Tristan entered the house. He even felt unable to climb the stairs to the second floor where his room was. The shadow of Arindi laughing happily with another man made her lose her spirit instantly.

"He might not be. Rendy must have seen it wrong. But where did he go. Why don't you pick up my phone? is he going to college? Lmpossible... His shoulder has not healed properly... But...."

So many questions in his mind. He is no longer able. Dating was not uncommon for Tristan, so he did not know how to deal with the pain. His world seemed to collapse in an instant.

...----------------...

The night is almost here.

Tristan tried to close his eyes. His body was tired, he wanted this night to pass quickly. Already he decided the next morning he would come to meet Arindi in his apartment. He wanted the girl to explain directly to him the truth of the news.

The tring!

Cellphone ringing. Tristan quickly opened the chat message that just came in. He really hoped it was from Arindi. But he was wrong. It was written the name of the sender, the name that made his emotions rise to remember what he had done to Arindi. It was Anggi.

[Lo see the behavior of the girl you like behind you]

The message sent by Anggi. Soon a new message came in again. A video message.

Tristan was shocked to see the video Anggi had just sent. It looks like Arindi is walking with a man. From his background he could tell that they were walking in a mall that was not far from the direction of Rendy's house. Shortly in the video it shows that the man's arm is hooked to Arindi's neck.

Tristan's eyes stiffened. Many times he replayed the video. He wanted to make sure that it was Arindi. And it was true that it was Arindi whom he knew. But he never saw the man next to him. Tristan wondered who exactly that man was.

Tristan called Anggi quickly. He must know that Anggi did not make the contents of the video.

"Why did you send this video?" tristan held back his emotions.

"Lo is still? The power is that God wants to show you who he really is behind you. It's not a coincidence I squirm him," replied Anggi ketus behind his phone.

"Lies you say? Your eyes are completely closed with love, Tan. So you don't believe it? You want more evidence. Now you look." Call was interrupted shortly. A video call from Anggi.

Tristan received the call. Tristan is surprised, from the video he can see Arindi with the man just walked into a boutique. They look very close. Even the man's arm hadn't shifted a bit from Arindi's neck since.

After being satisfied, Anggi decided to call the video. Followed by a new chat message that reads [Kalo lo still says I'm lying, meaning elo is blind Tan. I sent this video nothing. I just don't want you to be hurt by a rich girl.]

Tristan read the message with a pushy look. He doesn't know what to pay back. He admitted that currently Anggi is not lying to him. The video is true, not a manipulation.

Tristan hopes that this is all wrong but it's all too real for him now. The man, the pain in his heart all filled Tristan's chest. Feels claustrophobic.

Tristan replayed the video sent by Anggi earlier. His eyes glared at the man beside Arindi. He saw it from the way he dressed the man was older than Arindi. The full suit he wore suggested that perhaps the man was no longer a student. Moreover, the boutique he saw them enter, it was a boutique that specialized in producing and selling formal workwear.

"Who is this Rin?" whispers in the heart.

...----------------...

Next morning.

Tok to tok. The door to Arindi's room was knocked repeatedly until Arindi woke up from her sleep.

"Why?" yelling Arindi from inside her room. He knew it must be an Anggara. "Defend Arindi, stay one day today" he said in his heart to strengthen himself.

"Lo belom wake up? You said you were going to college?" yelling baritone voice Anggara front door.

Arindi glanced at the clock on the wall. "It's only eight o'clock. Damn brother obviously I said get in at ten. Why did you wake up anyway," he mumbled annoyed.

"You want to have breakfast online." cried Arindi again.

"Gue came in" Anggara said, opening the door to Arindi's room, although Arindi had not answered his words.

"Aggaraaaaaa..," cried Arindi annoyed. He pulled the blanket over his body.

"Normal humans who wake up during the day" Anggara said as he walked towards a large glass window on one side of the wall. He also revealed his curtains so that sunlight broke into Arindi's room.

"So you don't get up, I pull the blanket lo trus I drag to the bathroom," Anggara threatened Arindi.

"Yes I woke up, but you came out first," cried Arindi from inside her blanket.

"Fifteen minutes. I'll wait outside. I had to stay another day in your apartment. And this is hp lo," Anggara said putting Arindi's phone on his dresser. Then he walked out and closed the door.

After the door closed, Arindi who heard the threat hurriedly left and entered the bathroom.

A few minutes passed. Arindi tightened her bathrobe. She wrapped a towel around her wet hair. He saw that the clock had passed ten minutes since he had entered the bathroom.

Arindi went to her dresser, she took her phone which she felt she had not held in a long time. There were many notifications ignored by him.

Of the many, only the one with the name Tristan caught his attention. Instantly the figure of that face shadowed him as he read the name.

"Five missed calls and a chat message" Arindi said, opening the message.

-----

Today to college, right? Brother pick up now 07.45

-----

Arindi's eyes stiffened staring at the message. Look at the clock when he sends a message.

"If it's not jammed, he's down now" Arindi thought. Without a second thought, he immediately ran out of his room. He did not realize he was still wearing a bathrobe and the towel in his hair was still wrapped. He could not imagine if the two men met.
