I'm Not a Bet

I'm Not a Bet
Nadine's Words

Arindi walked lazily towards the dining table. He glanced at Nadine who was propping one hand against her chin. Nadine was thinking as far as what mistake she had made this morning.

"Gue apologized to Rin," Nadine said quickly when she saw that Arindi had returned to her seat.

"Ehm," answered Arindi briefly while spooning the porridge into her mouth. He was really upset by what Nadine said this morning. He wanted to be angry but it felt like all the energy he had had evaporated completely after seeing the sadness in Tristan's eyes earlier.

"Rin you're mad about me?" nadine asked with some hesitation.

Arindi pretended not to hear Nadine just now. He stood up from his chair to the sink and washed the cutlery he used with Tristan earlier.

Nadine had a glance at Arindi's empty bowl before Arindi took her. Her heart was relieved to see her best friend had finished her morning breakfast.

The tableware made of porcelain was clashing against each other. His voice was the silence between Arindi and Nadine. Arindi did it intentionally. He wanted to show how upset his heart was at this moment.

"Rin..," said Nadine again. His voice sounded groggy. "The part of the cassian is Rin his plates is nothing wrong," he added.

Arindi still persisted with her silence. Nadine is giving up. "I'm spending more on you than on you, rather than on you," said Nadine slowly as she pressed her chin to the cold dining table.

"You sure you can?" arindi said as she walked closer to Nadine. In his hand, Arindi carried a long-handled vegetable centong made of porcelain. "This cake is gapapa?"

Nadine who was shocked because of Arindi's answer suddenly finally straightened her head. "Rin... But I didn't use it either" he said, starting to get scared to see what was in Arindi's hands. Nadine stood up from her chair and ran quickly to avoid Arindi.

"Here you! Lo said mending me thud. I want to teach people today again," said Arindi with a standby position. "Lo had the heart to talk that way in front of his people."

"I didn't know Rin was there. I'm talking about it because I'm worried about you" replied Nadine while continuing to stay away from Arindi's reach.

Now the two of them stood opposite each other at the round dining table. The two held their respective positions while clashing their mouths.

From the front room came the sound of the doorbell of the apartment in the ringing. Arindi and Nadine did not move from their positions even though the bell began to sound impatiently. They both know who rang the bell.

"Rin is Rin, it must be Rasya. Ntar he panicked if you did not open the apartment door, "persuade Nadine.

Arindi. He moved to open the door with annoyance. "Review lo ya!" he threatened Nadine. Nadine simply replied with a mocking smile at him.

Cklek! The door is open.

"Eh my dear... You feeling better?" rasha's loud voice greeted Arindi at the door. "Where is your body still hot?" he held Arindi's forehead quickly.

"That's it... I'm better" said Arindi later.

"Idihi ni son. People are worried too. This what?" rasha asked pointing at the centong that Arindi was holding. "Lo's cooking again? Pantes long open the door. I brought some porridge. Where's Nadine, by the way?" he walked straight to the dining room.

Rasya placed a transparent plastic package onto the dining table. And deftly he took the cutlery on the plate rack. "Have you eaten?" said Rasya glanced at some of the eating utensils that had just been washed neatly arranged on the drying rack.

Arindi who was standing beside the table paid no heed to Rasya's words. He was looking for Nadine's prey. Sometimes he checks under the table.

"Why do you think my question is not answered? Lo again what the hell is it?" Rasya turned to Arindi after her question was ignored by Arindi. He was surprised to see Arindi's behavior now.

"Nadine!" arindi said briefly.

"Nadine?" Rasya still did not understand the situation that Arindi was saying. "You two are playing hide and seek? Hellllloooo how old are you?" rasha asked, getting annoyed.

"alright... Patience also has its limits" Rasya said slowly to himself. "Nadineeeee... Out!!" her loud voice shrieked high shouting Nadine's name.

Cklek. The sound of the toilet door not far from the dining table opened. Nadine came out of it with an innocent smile.

"Owh... Stick there you apparently yes," said Arindi trying to chase Nadine. Nadine runs quickly behind Rasya asking for Rasya's protection.

"Stoooooooooop!!!" yell Rasya again. Anyone who heard the screams would quickly close their ears. "You two ga diem, I will shout until the neighbors of the apartment come here" Rasya threatened the two of them.

...----------------...

Fifteen minutes passed. The atmosphere in Arindi's apartment was quiet. Arindi, Nadine and Rasya sat together in front of the television. Rasya had heard the whole story about the chaos that occurred this morning.

"Huuuft Pfiuuuuh," said Rasya pulling and exhaling long breaths alternately.

"Tristan won't say. But I can see if he is disappointed and sad Sya," said Arindi later. He bowed languidly.

"Ehem um... Rin I'm sorry, if I knew if he was still here I wouldn't just say anything," Nadine's voice full of regret.

"Gue ain't mad at you Nad, just me gregetan aja same bacot lo. I want to shred it, ergh..," said Arindi staring resentfully at Nadine, making Nadine reflexively cover her mouth with her hands.

"It's been you two" Rasya said later. "I think Tristan must be very disappointed in myself. All the events and chaos that occur around Lo Rin, indirectly have occurred since his presence, right?".

"Why did you even say that?" said Arindi who was getting weaker after hearing Rasya's words.

"No, Rin. I don't mean to make you sad. But it all happened already. So the most important thing now is that we have to think about how to solve this chaos so as not to get worse the problem," explained Rasya later.

"I want to call Tristan now" Arindi said and took her phone quickly.

But Rasya immediately held back his hand. "Rin loves him time. You know he must be sad now. And you also know that he will not give up just because of those words. So if I think Tristan right now is feeling very guilty to you. And now he must be thinking about how the hell so that he can apologize to you and better yet to you," explained Rasya again.

Arindi was silent listening to Rasya's advice. He confirmed what Rasya had just said in his heart. "So what do I do now?" arindi said later.

"Ehmm ntar you connect him. Give him a little more time and...."

Rasya did not continue his words because at this time from the direction of the entrance came the sound of an access control reader device sounding loudly. Someone has just pasted *****access card******* in order to enter the apartment and the loud sound means the access card is accepted.

The three friends looked at each other. Especially Arindi who was staring tensely at Rasya and Nadine. The three of them were silent in their sitting as if intimidated by the loud voice of the device.

Arindi knows that the access card she has today is not the only access card that can be used to enter her apartment. The management gave him a pair of cards, which Arindi held one of them, and the other one was in his papa's hand.

Arindi has been forced to open her memories for the past week. His father never made an appointment to visit him.

Cklek! The apartment door was open. The sound of heavy footsteps came into the apartment.

"Darling... Are you home?" said a male baritone voice. The roaring voice filled the room and the ears of the three girls were now. The three of them also knew very well who the owner of this baritone voice was without having to see the face of the owner.

He was...
