I'm Not a Bet

I'm Not a Bet
Nature of Anggi

Tristan just parked his car quite far from the parking lot of the BEM secretariat building. He glanced at the watch in his hand, still at ninety-thirty. He thought there was still enough time before Arindi entered her class.

He looked at Arindi who was sitting quietly next to him. He just sat in silence. Tristan could more or less know the meaning of his silence.

"Aryn...."

Tristan's soft voice made him look at her. That voice could always calm his heart. For a moment he forgot that he now had this man next to him.

"Why?" ask Tristan again.

Tristan smilingly looked at her even though within her was very worried about Arindi. His hand gently rubbed the girl's head. Arindi returned Tristan's smile. He held Tristan's hand with both hands.

"Father brother, I believe the same Arin. There's a sister now."

"Son believe you can, we don't know what the plan is, we have to be careful."

Arindi just nodded. He is still emotional but he wants to hold it well. He also called Anggi.

"Hello Anggi, where's brother? Arin just got into the building."

"So, I've been on the road, but my sister's laptop is on the desk. Sandinya Anggi888, the letter A is large."

"Ok brother," replied Arindi.

Arindi and Tristan got out of the car. Arindi walks apart with Tristan, she enters first into the building. Tristan took a distance and trailed from afar.

Arriving in front of the BEM room, the door of the BEM room opened just like that. Arindi went inside, but there was no one in there. Arindi took a seat at Anggi's desk at Anggi's request she began to sit down and unlocked Anggi's laptop password.

It just so happened that Anggi's seat turned back to the entrance so Arindi did not realize that behind her was someone standing at the door recording Arindi secretly.

"What's in front of the door?" tristan's voice sounded cold and loudly reprimanding the person who was recording until he was surprised and dropped his cellphone. Arindi who was inside was also shocked to hear Tristan's voice. He also turned around.

In front of the door Arindi saw Anggi who was facing Tristan. He stood up and approached them.

"Big T-Tristan...."

Anggi's mouth trembled to mention the name, plus Arindi's sharp gaze that was already beside him. It was like being caught committing a crime.

"A-charcoal...."

Arindi did not release her eyes at the frightened Anggi. Tristan crouched down to pick up the phone that Anggi dropped from his hand earlier. Seeing Tristan holding his phone, Anggi became even more panicked.

Tristan stared coldly at Anggi. "What are you doing with this phone?"

"I-it's. I ...." Angry stammered.

"Why did you pokelekam Arindi with hp lo?" ask Tristan.

"What's the reason you came to me?" arindi's voice was shaking.

Feeling cornered by the two people in front of him made Anggi take a few steps back.

"You can't say, I'll open it myself. I know all about what you did behind Arindi. You texted the provocation to Celyn. Elo also sent a photo to Cellyn, I have all the evidence on my phone" said Tristan.

Anggi was panicked to hear Tristan's accusations, his mind became chaotic, like a possessed man he screamed.

"Gu-go... You shouldnua just squirm to me Tan. You never realize if I like the same elo. I've had a lot of trouble cheating on Celyn. And now he. I should be right now next to you Tan. I knew you first. He's the one you just know but why are you paying more attention to him, why are you always there for him? I'm lacking what in your eyes Tan?" anggi's mouth was rummaging through all of his heart.

Arindi stood frozen after Anggi said all that. Something sharp was sticking out of his heart and hurting his heart all of a sudden. "He likes Tristan?"

"Because of that reason?" ask Tristan coldly.

"For that reason you said? I'm more pantes than him Tan. As long as you know Tan, he is rotten, you it's just a betting material he's the same friends doang, already dapetin lo, soon you will be thrown away," Anggi then chuckled.

Anggi's words just now were really like a sharp blade. Slashing every inch of Arindi's heart that was injured. His hands started shaking, his eyes were hot. His emotions rose to a hump. I want him to slap the girl's mouth right now.

But Tristan was determined not to believe it even though there was a little bit of hurt in her heart hearing those words. "I'm not a bet," his inner self over and over again.

"Gue doesn't want to hear anything else" Tristan said later.

"Why? You do not believe, just wait for the right time elo will be thrown away," shouted Anggi again.

Arindi can't take it anymore. The anger within him was already unstoppable. "Sister Anggi, shut up brother while I can still be patient."

"Why? You think I don't know either, I was there when you and your best friend told you about the bet. Lo want what? Slap me? Fucking bar-bar chick. You think because you've got it all you can just as casually care for someone else?" yelling Anggi like losing consciousness.

There is no more cheerful and vibrant Anggi image like before. All was lost just like a year's drought that was wiped out by a day's rain.

"Fine enough..," cried Tristan later.

Arindi was furious but could not vent it. His mind tried to recall the beginning that was at the root of this problem. The beginning where Arindi and her best friend made this bet. From his memory, Arindi found no clues. He just did not expect Anggi to hear their conversation.

But whether Anggi does not know the other truth is that they have canceled the bet. Anggi does not know or he deliberately does not say it, Arindi does not know. Arindi became upset herself. Tristan, does he believe that Arindi is refuting those words right now.

Anggi quickly took the phone from Tristan's hand and ran, he hit the body of Arindi who was silent because he was immersed in his mind so hard... Brak!!

Arindi fell, her shoulder hit the end of the iron chair not far from there hard. Something was pulsing on his shoulder, he was in pain, but he was holding it.

He was more sick when he imagined what expression would come out of the man's face in front of him. He just bowed down not daring to look at Tristan. Both of his hands were still holding the floor where he had fallen. He did not want to stand up and face the anger of Tristan.

Suddenly, a pair of hands he was very familiar with extended to him. The hand held his upper arm. Arindi stared at the owner of the hand slowly.

"You gapapa? Is anyone sick?" ask Tristan gently.

Arindi slowly raised her head, she did not answer, just stared in disbelief. This time Tristan did not leave him, he remained before him and stretched out his hand. His eyes that had been hot had started to tear up, he wanted to cry, but he held it back.

Tristan helped him stand up. Arindi was still downcast, holding back her tears. He took a deep breath.

"Darling, you're gapapa?" ask Tristan then. He could figure out how Arindi was feeling right now. But he did not want to aggravate that feeling. Therefore with the determination that he had been making since earlier, he extended his hand to the girl.

Arindi widened her eyes looking down at the floor below, the soft call was no longer able to make her stem her tears. He cried out his fear and hugged Tristan suddenly. He still doesn't talk. His whole heart was replaced by tears.

"Why cry? Oi... Is anyone sick?" Tristan was shocked as Arindi hugged him suddenly. He also returned the embrace. Tristan patted Arindi on the shoulder trying to calm her down and then grabbed Arindi tightly. He knew the reason the girl was crying. He no longer asked anything just to embrace it tightly.

.

.

After a while, Arindi took off her embrace. He stopped crying, his eyes were puffy. Something pulsated in his right shoulder. So hurt. But he held her back, seeing Tristan's calm face as he looked at her, he didn't want to worry the man.

"You know you're bumping, let's check first?"

Tristan was very worried, he could not see directly how his shoulder was because it was covered in clothes. But he heard a loud bang on the girl's boat.

"Gausah sis," replied Arindi in a raucous voice.

"You were hit hard, afraid of having your shoulder hurt."

"Arin gapapa kak, anter Arin aja lecture, today there are three courses," said Arin slowly.

Tristan stared at Arindi, he couldn't force her. He also did not want to ruin the calm that the girl felt now. He complied and swept her towards the car.

"You have nothing to do with your brother, yes" Tristan said and then drove his car slowly. He was very worried about the girl and he also felt guilty, so the girl was again in danger.

Tristan himself tried to ignore his wounds because his determination was unanimous to not believe Anggi's words about him.

"I want to trust you and always will."
