I'm Not a Bet
The Beginning of Falling in Love

Arindi poured her body into her bed. He had just finished cleaning himself and refreshing his face. The night was cold because outside it was raining, he raised the air conditioning temperature and then pulled the blanket. The night was colder and more tiring than usual.

Arindi opened her phone. He read the incoming messages from his best friend who he had ignored. His best friends wanted to come see the situation but because Arindi did not want to make them feel sad, so he made an excuse that he really felt tired and planned to meet them tomorrow only. This time he ignored them.

Triing ting ting...

Her phone call tone rang as she just turned off her room light. The name of the caller on his phone screen became the reason Arindi quickly picked up the phone call.

"Hello brother," said Arindi to Tristan who was on the other end of the phone.

"Hello Rin's. Already at home?" tristan's distinctive voice echoed in Arindi's ear.

"Any brother, is he home? how's wounds? Still sore? Is the medicine drunk? The roles must be changed, right, it's been replaced yet?" sheckled Arindi at Tristan, which made Tristan unable to answer his question quickly.

"One of his nanya. Brother has been at home from earlier, the wound is still sore maybe because the anesthetic effect was exhausted earlier but this medicine has been taken by the bandage truss tomorrow morning in change," replied Tristan in one breath. He still talks to Arindi on the phone.

"Still sore, brother? how about you let it sting again?" arindi's slow voice sounded very alarming to Tristan.

Tristan was always happy whenever Arindi sounded worried about him. "Well, what's important is medicine. Just calm down, yeah. Now what's it again?"

"Lagiii... Uhm no sister, just wanted to sleep now again to sleep, a phone call with sister," replied Arindi innocently.

"Would you sleep? Did you eat?" tristan asked, he remembered since the incident it seemed like Arindi had not eaten anything.

"Not yet, sister, uhmm. ga laper really," replied Arindi who did not feel hungry.

"Ga's laper? When was the last meal?".Tristan is starting to fret.

"Last noon on campus with Rasya," Arindi recalled as she and Rasya went to the food booth.

"Just now? How many hours." Tristan looked at the clock on the wall of his room. "What do you want to eat now?" ask him who worries.

"How do you mean?" replied Arindi who turned out to be insensitive with Tristan's intentions.

"What does Arin want to eat? Tell me, later it can be ordered between or if there is something Arin wants and can not be ordered online, let the brother who buyin," explained Tristan to Arindi.

"Where maybe Arin rumbles big sister night buyin food anywayan don't want to eat anything anyway, ga laper kak, seriuuus...."

Arindi couldn't possibly make Tristan do such an absurd thing, but Arindi was very happy to hear the sincerity Tristan had just offered. He knew Tristan was also very worried about him even though he knew what he was feeling right now.

"This is strong brother, anyways how not to try? Look at that bloody brother. Although it was not Arin who was injured but Arin's heart ached writhing his injured brother," he replied innocently without thinking about what came out of his mouth.

Tristan was stunned to hear Arindi's reply just now, even with just words of worry the girl could make her heart continue beating like this.

"Fuuuuuhu...." Tristan breathed a long breath. He wanted to calm his heart that was not lost.

"Why brother? Is his hand hurting again?" arindi's voice started to sound panicked now.

"That's right Rin," Tristan replied slowly.

"Trus why is that?" Arin was still curious.

"No gapapa, did Arin sleep? Rest aja must be tired all day, sister also want to rest," said Tristan wanted to end the conversation.

"Oh yes brother, sister that brother also rest yes."Arindi turned off her phone. He just wants to sleep now, hoping the morning comes sooner.

...----------------...

Meanwhile.

Tristan has ended his call. He put his cell phone next to his body. He still wants to call Arindi but every time Arindi speaks he is not strong to hear her voice, it feels unable to hold his feelings. He really misses her.

Tristan is not an easy person to fall in love with, there are many girls who approach him, but nothing can stir his heart. Missing a girl is not normal for her.

When I first met Arindi, everything changed for Tristan. The girl's face from the first moment filled an empty part of her heart. Not because of the new meeting a few days ago, but it has been two years ago he met Arindi for the first time.

Somehow the girl's face was permanently etched in her memory since her first meeting on the day she became a freshman. After that meeting he no longer met Arindi. All this time he did not want to see her, but because he had no dating experience made him resist his wishes.

That day, the day he saw the girl for the first time after a long time in front of the BEM secretariat building, even though Arindi was glazed with black eyes but she knew clearly the face that had been in her memory.

Something he never imagined before happened as Arindi passed by. His heart was pounding looking at that face, his heart was racing for no reason.

He still could not believe what his eyes saw. The girl who had been engraved in his heart, now the girl was in front of him, the girl who came to him first.

Tristan was not a believer in coincidence, everything that happened to him was already outlined. So when the girl came to him at that time, she was determined not to lose her again. He will not miss the opportunity he has been given.
