At 8pm, Saturday night, Arindi Apartment.
Arindi wanted to close her eyes, the weekends usually her body is always running out of energy due to the endless barrage of college assignments. Her best friends Nadine and Rasya are busy completing their mockups. Vivian is celebrating her return from out of town with her cyber club. So Arindi could immediately close their eyes without their interruption tonight.
But the shadow of the incident in the library last afternoon made it difficult for him to close his eyes, finally he just went back and forth in his bed.
"Am I sorry to calm down?"
"Kok this more than feel like you have debt anyway?"
He kept staring at his phone screen and said his own words. Suddenly a group chat came in. Ting!.
:::::::
BEM Campus
All BEM members are expected to attend an emergency meeting tomorrow at the secretariat building.
Discussion about the care of landslide disaster.
::::::::
After reading the chat, Arindi pulled her blanket.
"You ain't sleeping now tomorrow I'll be done."
"Tomorrow I can talk directly to him."
He also forced his eyes to sleep, from the message he could predict the busyness that will happen tomorrow. More than that he wanted to strengthen himself to face that figure tomorrow.
...----------------...
Arindi tidied up the notebook she used to record the results of the meeting. The BEM meeting had just finished, he rushed to put all his stationery in his bag because there was something he wanted to do after this, which was to meet Tristan and apologize.
All the members have come out of the meeting room. Arindi sees Tristan talking to other BEM officials in the room, and decides to wait outside.
It wasn't long before Tristan walked out with Rendi. Arindi who had been agitated even more when she saw the figure in front of her eyes. I don't know why there's a nervous feeling in him.
He never had trouble talking to people but every time he faced Tristan he always had difficulty. Eventually he neither advanced nor retreated from his position, but only silently looked at Tristan.
"Hi Rin, why? You wanna talk to Tristan?" ask Rendy.
Rendy who noticed Arindi's gaze reprimanded Arindi suddenly when they were close, while Tristan just silently looked.
"Oh yes, brother." Arindi.
"And I'm first, let me tell you again when it's ready."
"Hhemhh, ok Ren," Tristan replied.
The atmosphere grew even more awkward as Rendi had left and left the two of them. Today is Saturday, not many people come to campus because Saturday there are no lecture activities.
"What do you need?"
Tristan kept his tone. Seeing Arindi who was meeting him at this time made him think of the reason yesterday when Arindi met him. That reason still makes a feeling of tightness settle in his throat until now. He didn't want to think about it, but he continued to be disturbed.
If still for the same reason maybe he will push the feeling of tightness out and make the girl in front of him hate him even more, but there was a feeling he could not resist every time the girl was in his sight so he wanted to swallow all the painful feelings himself.
"As for yesterday, I'm really sorry, brother. There's no intention to make you feel bad or anything."
Arindi apologized sincerely, she did not even dare to look into the eyes of her interlocutor. Hearing the heartfelt statement coming out from Arindi's mouth, Tristan felt as if there was a fresh breeze blowing in each of his breathing cavities, the painful tightness feeling dissipated with the wind. He just looked at Arindi without saying anything.
"Oh yes about brother's back, yesterday was hit by the scroll, what's the gapapa?"
Arindi recalled that, she had the courage to look at Tristan when her guilt was greater than her nervousness.
"That's.. gapapa." Tristan was shocked at the back.
"Is there no pain?" ask Arindi again.
"Ga there is."
"Aren't you sure?"
"Yes." Yeah." Tristan was amazed to see the girl worrying about him.
"Thank God. Thank you brother, yesterday even never say thank you for uhm."
"Gue gapapa, so no problem," Tristan replied later.
Arindi smiled as well, she involuntarily smiled seeing Tristan not bother about it. There was a feeling of relief, relief because it turned out that he could apologize smoothly to her.
Seeing Arindi smile, Tristan became nervous. He wanted to return that smile but he was too stiff now.
"Owh yes brother, about raising funds and giving assistance, I follow ya sis."
"Uhm about that, you sure gapapa, will be a lot of people who want to be done and do not know what time will run and...."
"Owh don't worry about that brother, brother once said if I just need to show my loyalty as a thank you to brother, well this is the time I will show it. I'll bring a car, maybe I can help."
Tristan put a slight smile on the tip of her lips to hear Arindi's explanation. He started to feel relaxed talking to this girl now. Is it because he feels happy to see the girl feeling guilty or because he is happy Arindi understands her point.
"Yes already that, the children have been waiting at the location," invited Tristan.
Arindi and Tristan walked side by side down towards the outside of the building. They walked to the parking lot.
"Sister, up what?" ask Arindi later.
"Motor." Tristan pointed to his motorbike not far from Arindi's car.
"Owh get in my car, not directly ntar us to the disaster location right? Pretty far the way," said Arindi pretentious good.
"It's far away, but you can't get in that car, the terrain is not good, your car can be damaged" Tristan replied.
"Oh that. How are we going to naek's there?"
"Naek motor can do it. But if you go home, Malem is afraid of a little danger. So we naek car, ntar I bring the double gardan, Andrew the same Rangga bring each one because there are many donated items that will be brought. So only about 12 people can join if the car is filled. Trus you sure ain't papa coming?" ask Tristan again.
"Humh, sure. So how? oh if that's my car let here, I'm taking my brother's motorcycle there?" arindi said casually.
"What is a brother?" arindi polo. "Say me already, no matter how you are my target, mumpung no chance, I will not be in vain. As long as my treasure survives anything I will do."
"I-iiya gapapa, but I have only one helmet... Um nih lo aja who use," said Tristan later.
"Don't you, big brother who uses it, I'm behind the gapapa aja brother."
"Gapapa you aja. I'm used to street dust" Tristan refused.
"What's wrong, am I not ordinary?" reply Arindi.
"Udah just take it." Unknowingly Tristan walked up to Arindi, he lifted his helmet over Arindi's head and wanted to pair it up but when looking at Arindi's face who was staring in shock at her. He also realized that he was behaving in ways he shouldn't.
"Here brother, I'll take it."
Arindi suddenly pulled down the helmet and put it on her head. Tristan pulled his hand, he felt all wrong and awkward, he cursed into himself. How could his legs betray him earlier.
"What do I think, makes me ashamed." Inner Tristan.
"Bikin was shocked, yes if you maksa." That's what Arindi thinks.
Tristaan!!
Suddenly the loud voice of Celyn was ringing behind Arindi. He approached Arindi and Tristan who were just about to get on the bike. Celyn stood closer to Tristan and looked at Arindi with a sharp gaze, then observed her from head to toe.
Seeing that view plus the bad memory of the behavior of Celyn to his best friend, made Arindi look no less sharp into his eyes.
Tristan began to unsettle, he panicked because he knew well the temperament of the two girls in front of him. Same same bad.
"Where are you, baby?"
Cellyn looked at Tristan while embracing her hand to Tristan's and then glanced at Arindi. Arindi still did not take her eyes off of Celyn's eyes. He knew very well the meaning of the embrace, he wanted to show Arindi the limits she could not pass.
Getting a show like that does not weaken Arindi but actually makes Arindi want to tear apart Cellyn's hair. I don't know why he was getting angry to see her. Tristan let go of the embrace slowly.
"Why Cel, I'm busy right now" replied Tristan.
"busy? Same her?" he pointed to Arindi's face.
Arindi's head began to boil, her ears felt hot, the index finger that led to her face could easily be broken but she was still trying to hold it.
"Can you get your dirty hands off my face?" ask Arindi.
"Would he talk? I thought the statue was," sneered Celyn.
"Udah Cel, I'm busy right now, you go home if there is no need," Tristan kicked out.
"Tristan why the hell, I want to be with you, that date. And you who?" he saw Arindi. "Why are you wearing Tristan's helmet?" then flicked Tristan's helmet on Arindi's head.
Taak! It did not hurt in Arindi's head but it was ringing all over her heart and her heart was about to explode now. He looked hard at Cellyn.
"Celyn, what the fuck?" tristan said in a high tone.
"Why the hell is Tan, you belain him? This one..," pointed at Arindi again.
Yep!
As fast as lightning Arindi's right hand held onto Celyn's wrist, she held it with all her might.
"This hand, is it of no use?" arindi's voice was shaking with emotion.
"Awwww... Be ill. Lepassin! Damn girl!"
Celyn tried to pull his hand, he used one other hand to take off Arindi's grip, but it was in vain, because Arindi had focused all her energy on her hand.
"Rin...."
Tristan could not remain silent, bad things would soon happen if he just kept quiet. He also held Arindi's wrist. He wrapped his large, not too strong palm just putting a little pressure on his fingertips.
Arindi was not bothered by the touch, her entire rage overflowing like a volcano spewing out its incandescent lava.
"Lepasin, motherfucker... Tan help me Tan." Cellyn was still trying to pull her hand.
Tristan is starting to panic now. "Rin, Arindi."
Arindi still could not hear Tristan's voice. He wants to see Cellyn in pain, he has to give her a warning that he picked the wrong opponent.
"Rin, please look at me... Rin ... Arindiii," Tristan shouted.
Arindi was shocked, she looked at Tristan. He saw Tristan's panicked face staring at him.
"Tristan."
As if he had just woken up from a dream, he simply mentioned the name. He now felt the touch of Tristan's hand on his wrist. Finally he slowly opened his grip on Celyn's hand and forced his hand out of Tristan's.
"Fuckin' girl, you dare...."
"Celyn's enough!!!"
Cellyn was silent as Tristan snapped at her. Cellyn just held onto her wrist which was still in pain.
Arindi took off her helmet by force. He pushed it into Tristan's body. Tristan was not ready to accept the helmet that so violently hit his chest because of the impulse of anger. Tristan doesn't breathe in seconds, that's a huge force. But he does not show it, he instead worries about Arindi's view on him.
Arindi did not say anything, she just walked quickly to her car. Then he started the engine and he left. Tristan can't keep him from leaving. He turned to Cellyn and looked coldly at her. "What's your attitude?"
"And you're mad at me, I should be the one who's mad at you, why have you been lately deket continuing to him?" shout Celyn.
"That bothers you? You forget we're not related?"
"But Tan I still like you."
"That's your business and you want never to touch her one bit."
"Tan you why did you lose him? Tristaaaann...."
Tristan did not care about the screams of Cellyn, he put on his helmet and passed away leaving Celyn who was still full of revenge and mockery.
