The birds woke up a woman lying on her bed. Rose's heavy eyes blinked slowly. Faint until it was finally clear he was staring at the white ceiling above where he was lying at the moment. The distinctive aroma of this place goes into the cavity of his sense of smell. Finally he turned to his hand which was painful because of the prick of something like a needle.
"Huh!", he sighed finally after seeing his hand being connected with an infusion needle.
"Who brought me to the hospital?", he murmured to himself.
Rose circulated her gaze throughout the room she occupied. The room was not too luxurious but there was also only one bed that he occupied at this time. It seemed like the person who brought him was not a mediocre person. Rose became wary as her mind suddenly thought of the possibility that the person carrying her was Mr. Rogh. But he himself believed that no one knew of his existence at this time.

The sound of the door being opened made him forcibly immediately gather his entire consciousness. Rose stared warily at the door. He was able to breathe a sigh of relief after finding out that the one who entered his room was the figure of a middle-aged woman.
"You're dead?", said the woman.
Rose did not want to answer, she was still with her residence, still staring intently at the woman who was now sitting beside her bed.
"I found you passed out yesterday by the beach. You were very camped at the time, so I decided to bring you here. The doctor said you had hypothermia and fatigue. I know you're not from this country. With your chaotic appearance when I found you, I wasn't trying to figure out what happened to you. I'm not gonna ask if you don't want to answer", she's very good at reading situations. Rose's watchful and unwilling expression implied that a bad experience had befallen her until she had to make a hard escape. The woman tried to guess the situation that happened was so. So he did not force Rose to talk about things that were very painful for him. The woman tried to take Rose's trust in this way.
Clearly, the experience was sold by his own family to a man of his father's age, moreover the man he knew well was even the only son of the old man. Then when his escape failed and needed the figure of his father to protect him, there was nothing, there he could only face it himself. Then saw the triumphant laughter of his stepfamily as he was taken away. Until the worst is when she was about to be raped by an old man who would marry her and even several times committed acts of violence.
All Rose faced was a bitter memory that left her unable to trust anyone at this moment. Her brother, at that time what she called in her heart was her brother. But how about it, it has been a long time since her brother left his family. And the regret came when all this happened, should have just come with her brother to leave the curse family that had made her suffer to such an extent.
"I'll never come back!", Rose promised in her heart.
Tears seeped as he closed his eyes hard. As he recalls all the events that made him suffer so much. But for the sake of his brother, for the sake of being able to meet his brother he struggled to stay alive and stay sane. Because after all his soul had been slightly shaken by the bitter experience that not everyone could bear.
"Cry, if it can make you better!", the woman gave advice while gently rubbing Rose's head.
Getting the caress made Rose immediately spill all her emotions that have been held back for a long time, not since she met Mr. Rogh, but since his father decided to marry Madame Mira and finally have a half-brother named Mirabel. Since then his life has never been happy, even he forgot how to be happy. The cries that came out of his mouth sounded so bitter and heart-wrenching. Rose continued to cry out her emotions until her hands squeezed her clothes on her chest. All he did was to suppress the pain his heart was suffering from. The heart-wrenching sobs melody helped make the middle-aged woman shed tears.
"What really happened to him? A woman as beautiful as this was crying so bitterly. What exactly has he passed?!", the woman muttered sadly.
Soon he grabbed Rose into his arms. Rose's cry grew louder. Not more sad, but he also felt haru because after a long time finally he could feel the warmth of a soothing embrace. Like a mother's embrace that feels safe and comfortable when you feel in it. It's been 15 minutes, 30 minutes, it's been almost an hour Rose cried in the woman's arms. As his crying subsided, he withdrew to see how chaotic he had stained the woman's clothes with his tears. His eyes were round when he saw that his entire left shoulder was soaked with tears.
"Sorry!", he murmured softly as he lowered his head.
"So you're still thinking about my soaked clothes?!", the woman tried to melt the atmosphere.
"Sorry!", murmured Rose again feeling truly regretful.
The woman offered Rose a glass of water for him. And immediately grabbed and removed the entire contents of the glass by him. It was very thirsty, maybe the fluid in his body was drained because of the tears that came out ceaselessly.
"It's better now?", the woman ignored Rose's apology but instead asked Rose's current state with such sincere eyes.
"Yes!", Rose replied softly as she nodded her head.
"Thank you!", he said again but at this moment Rose dared to raise her head to look at the woman who had been kind enough to help him.
"Don't thank me before you fully recover!", said the woman sincerely as she stroked Rose's blonde hair.
"What's your name?", he asked.
"Rose! Rose Benneth", Rose replied quietly probably because her voice had almost run out after crying for so long.
"Alright!", the woman complied with Rose's will while commenting on her smile.
"My name is Maya, you can call me Aunt Maya from now on. Do you have a place to stay?".
Rose shook her head weakly while lowering her head. Let alone a place to live, even where he is at this time he does not know. And the person she knew was just a Aunt Maya.
"Ah yes! I shouldn't have asked! You definitely don't have anyone here!", Aunt Maya chuckles to herself afterwards.
"Then what are you planning to do in the future?", he asked later.
"Come on!", Rose was confused as well. He did not know what next step he took. Right now he doesn't even have anything to survive.
"I want to work, but I don't have anything at the moment to apply for a job. I don't have an identity card!", said Rose. It was not meant to complain, it was just that this was the situation he was in at the moment. He wanted to survive, but he had nothing to start surviving. Only someone who had faith in him would give him a job. But who, Rose doesn't want to dream.
"But if it doesn't try who knows, right?!", Rose murmured in her heart.
"Can Auntie give me a job?", timidly Rose asked as she lowered her head.
"I can do any job. As long as it doesn't become a cheap woman!", she added again as she stared at Aunt Maya's face inside.
"Ah, it seems like she has a problem with that kind of thing!", Aunt Maya muttered inwardly.
"So you want to work?", asked Aunt Maya again to ensure Rose's current steadfastness.
"Yes!", Rose replied briefly as she nodded firmly.
"All right! I'll give you news tomorrow! Now rest! Tomorrow I'll come here again", Aunt Maya resigned herself. Before leaving he gently stroked Rose's head lovingly.
"If you are ready! I'm willing to listen to all your stories later!", Aunt Maya smiled shadyly towards Rose.
"Thank you!", said Rose sincerely for all the kindness that Aunt Maya gave to her who was a stranger she found on the beach and was willing to save her.
"I'll go home first! I left some work!", said Aunt Maya after that actually left Rose alone in her nursery.
