Ruby's Birthday

The mood looks gripping. There was a lot of cloth on the streets.

"What is this fabric? Why are you on the street?" ask Ruby to Edsen.

Edsen speaks only a thousand languages. Ruby also kept quiet after seeing Edsen uncomfortable after Ruby asked.

"Just get down here" said Edsen. Felix drove the car and parked the car to the side of the road. Ruby, Thomas and Felix get out of the car to say goodbye and thank you.

"Edsen, thank you for your help, yes" Ruby told Edsen.

"It's okay. I also thank you guys for helping me get back to this place" Edsen replied with a smile.

"Where do you live?" Thomas was curious because he had found no other building other than an open stone house that did not seem to be a residence. There is only a cow pen there.

"My house is around here, you go first," Edsen seemed not to want Thomas to explore his private domain.

"Well then we say yes" Ruby got into the car followed by her friends.

Unlike yesterday, the day Ruby drove Edsen home felt different. Several cars and motorbikes passed by in that place.

"Yesterday is very quiet, now why suddenly crowded?" Ruby wonder.

"I'm still mad at you" Felix answered outside of Ruby's question.

"Yes, yes, yes" Ruby responded.

Anton and Reno are in front of Ruby's house. Today is a special day for Ruby because she has a birthday.

Ruby did not know the plan that had been Felix and Thomas stacked and when he saw Anton and Reno at his house, he was a little surprised because it is not usual they did not contact Ruby first.

"Hi, you're back" Reno said.

"Today I'm going to publish an article based on a video you told me about this morning" Anton told Ruby.

"Is that not sadistic?" Ruby hesitated a bit.

"No. I'll arrange everything. You take it easy" replied Reno.

"Well, I trust you, '" Ruby handed Anton all the business of the article.

"By the way how did you get stuck there yesterday, Ruby?" Reno is curious about what Ruby went through last night.

"I went to the cemetery and suddenly the fog. From a distance I saw the hordes of the sect, then I hid. It's a good thing that everything was recorded on the rear camera of my motorcycle," Ruby was grateful to have survived the place and found evidence strong enough to bring down the extremely evil sect.

"But I wonder who Edsen really is," Ruby was not satisfied because she had not had time to chat with Edsen.

"Have not thought about it. We just focus on what we're doing right now" Felix said.

"But something made me even more curious" Ruby continued the conversation even though Felix had told her to stop.

"What's that?" Thomas asked.

"The fabrics. Why is the cloth strewn across the streets and Edsen seem to cover.."

"Honey. Never mind," Felix cut Ruby's words before Ruby could finish what she wanted to say.

"Okey, okay," Ruby was silent.

"That article let me handle it. Today I'm going to publish more than one article" Anton revealed his plan.

"Not usually," Ruby commented.

"Watch it because it's your birthday. A gift from me," Anton gave an answer.

"Ruby's Happy Birthday!" kylie and Ava emerge from the kitchen.

A tart cake with lilac color, Ruby's favorite color looks very beautiful brought by Ava. A candle with the shape of the number 21 was stuck on the cake, showing that today Ruby is 21 years old.

"Happy birthday dear," Felix kissed Ruby's lips.

"Didn't you see any children" Thomas protested after seeing Ruby and Felix's kiss scene in front of his eyes.

"Why do you always protest if I make out with my girlfriend" Felix said.

"Happy birthday to my ex-boyfriend" it's Thomas' turn to say happy birthday to Ruby.

"Thank you Thomas" replied Ruby.

Anton, Ava,Kylie, Anton,Reno and the last two children who always fill Ruby's days with the sound of their laughter is very noisy congratulating Ruby's age which has now reached 21 years.

"Thank you everyone for celebrating my birthday" Ruby said many thanks.

"It doesn't matter, we get together too" Reno replied.

Finished blowing out the candles and cutting the cake, they returned to a serious conversation.

"What exactly did you do to that funeral?" Thomas was eager to know.

"Bi Ellen told me to go there, there's a tomb. Miranda Anderson's. But I don't know him" replied Ruby.

"So what you're saying is your secret duty is to visit the grave of someone you don't recognize?" Felix scoffing.

"It's very important tau," Ruby replied to Felix who mocked him.

"What's important?" Felix accidentally lures Ruby into telling her exactly what Ruby is working on.

"Well I'll tell you everything" Ruby decided to tell her what a secret task she was doing to her friends.

Ellen contacts Ruby and tells her to do something that will make the man who always follows Ruby stop following her.

Ruby had to go to the cemetery on a mountain of fan pilgrimages to a new tomb, Miranda Anderson. Ruby doesn't know who the woman is and she just runs what Ellen asks for. However, after Ruby approves Ellen's request, she immediately sends a text message to Ruby to tell her what the mission's purpose is.

Ruby, thank you for doing what I asked. Miranda is my friend who I told you about running away pregnant. Now he's dead. I lied to say Miranda was alive, I had to do that. So, first please forgive me for lying to you. The man doesn't believe Miranda is dead so he's going to keep trying to figure out where Miranda is. I don't want him to keep following you so that he'll believe Miranda no more you'll have to lure her to Miranda's grave so that he himself can see the grave of the woman he's "killed". I know this is troubling you, but hang on. Everything will be done in a moment.

Ruby showed the message to her friends.

"Mother" a word came out of Kylie's lips.

"A.. Whahuh? Where's mommy?" Ruby looked around looking for the whereabouts of Kylie's mother.

"The woman who died was my mother, Miranda," Kylie replied in tears.

"What does brother mean? You're on a secret mission, "Andy just plainly thinks Kylie's kidding.

The mood was silent for a moment. Only Kylie's sobs could be heard in Ruby's living room.

"What's really going on? Why is the problem getting everywhere, "Ruby is very confused.

"Since my father was imprisoned, my mother returned to the sect to earn money. But as bi Ellen said, the cruel man kept impregnating my mother" Kylie replied.

"By the way why did you get here? Didn't you go with bi Ellen?" Felix curious.

"What does it mean to go with bi Ellen?" Ruby felt she knew nothing.

"You remember when bi Ellen said she went with her friend's missing son? That person is Kylie" Felix replied.

"But how do you know before me?" ruby's eyes glared at Felix.

"Actually Kylie's arrival was a surprise we prepared," Thomas makes excuses to protect Felix from Ruby's anger.
