A Glimmer of Light

Thomas and Felix have arrived at the orphanage. The atmosphere looked normal as usual, it was just that Felix was more silent that day. He also did not answer the question Jennifer asked. Felix was just busy playing with the children in the orphanage.

"Felix, what's wrong with you?" Thomas pretended to ask.

"Please don't bother my lover" Felix replied.

"When am I bothering him?" Thomas answered calmly.

"What did you say this morning when I took a shower?" Felix introgates.

"What's? I was just chatting," Thomas dodged.

"All right," Felix looked calm again.

Thomas then spoke to Jennifer. They talked about the adoption of Zoe but still there is no certainty. Jennifer reasoned that the orphanage owner was very difficult to contact.

"All right then. If you have any information please call me, Ruby or Felix. We won't be in this place much longer" Thomas concluded.

"By the way, I have business so can't help you. Felix alone will help you today" Thomas turned to Felix who was still playing with the children while listening to their conversation.

"Why am I alone? You didn't discuss it with me first. I have to accompany Ruby at home" Felix refused to help Jennifer alone.

Actually it's okay for Felix to help Jennifer without Thomas, but because Ruby and Felix's situation is not okay so Felix prefers to look safe.

"I have a business.Then who will help him?" Thomas persuades while codifying Felix to help.

"I don't want to. Why are you forcing?" Felix was very upset.

"Then how?" Thomas has no other options.

Meanwhile, Felix calls Ruby and tells her what happened at the company. But still irritated, Ruby refused to come and chose to let Felix to work together with Jennifer. Thomas seemed excited to see the incident.

"What kind of job do you have that can't help?" asked Felix after disconnecting his phone.

"I'm working on something that makes our mission complete quickly" Thomas did not answer clearly what he was doing. Of course Thomas would be silent because if he admitted what he was going to do was the same as committing suicide.

"Sorry Jenn, we can't help today. I'm afraid Ruby's at home so I'm going home now" Felix said goodbye, whether Thomas would come home with her or not. And it turns out Thomas went with Felix.

"I feel bad for not being able to help him today" Thomas said.

"Why don't you help? Even told me. Very annoying," Felix grumbled.

"Alright forgive me young master," Thomas joked a little to keep Felix from dissolving into a bad mood.

"Then what are we going to do?" Felix diverted the conversation.

"Sstt.. Someone is coming. To the orphanage, "Thomas steps to a standstill after hearing the roar of the car in the orphanage yard.

"Do we have to go back?" ask Felix.

"No need. It's too suspicious if we come back after seeing the guest. We better take a peek," suggested Thomas.

"alright. I agree," Felix then walked towards a tree. From there they both peeked.

"wait. That blue car belongs to the sect head. There's no mistaking it," Felix was so sure.

The car felt familiar to Thomas but he could not remember where he had seen it. Upon hearing Felix's statement, Thomas became convinced that what Felix said was true. The car belonged to the sect leader's chief.
