this place gives me the creeps

Ruby's busy with her phone. I haven't posted anything on Instagram in a long time.

"Honey," Ruby pointed the camera at Felix.

Felix confidently took a photo in front of the camera.

"Have you been handsome yet? Where do I see," Felix saw the picture on Ruby's phone.

"I'm post huh?" Ruby posted a photo of Felix on her Instagram story.

Geck.. Geck.. Geck..

There was a knock on their door.

"Wait," Felix got up and opened the door.

"Oh, hi. What's up?" Felix greeted Thomas who was standing at the door.

"Poppy and her mother are away" Thomas said.

"Honey, golden opportunity!" ruby said from inside the room.

Felix invites Thomas into their room.

"By the way, they gave me a free stay here, by the way" Thomas said.

"We also. But at first we talked about the tree so we could go. And my reason is to run out of money to pay for this motel" Ruby told me.

"Then?" ask Thomas.

"Yes, he let us stay here for free" replied Ruby.

"Where are your friends? The one you brought here?" ask Felix to Thomas.

"Last night I went out and saw they weren't there. There were two men telling me to go back to the motel" Thomas replied.

"Have you contacted them?" Ruby was a little worried. It's nothing, because that place is a little strange Ruby didn't happen something bad to them because of their arrival to this place on Ruby's errand.

"I called the four of them but it wasn't answered. However, take it easy, they've already replied to my message and said that they're home" Thomas answered Ruby's question so she wouldn't worry.

"By the way I feel weird about his attitude" Thomas said.

"We are too" Felix replied.

"Additionally I heard a strange noise above" Thomas added.

"What's the weird noise?" Felix curious.

Looks like their relationship here is fine, between Felix and Thomas looks good friends. This made Ruby feel relieved.

"As if there was someone," replied Thomas.

"Just like you feel" Ruby said.

"Let's go upstairs. We'll check," Thomas said.

"Do you know where it's coming in?" Felix curious.

"Last night as I was sitting by the window, I saw Poppy's mother and a man behind the house carrying the stairs" she explained.

They went behind the house together.

"Where?" ask Felix.

"We have to find out first because I didn't follow them here" Thomas replied.

They looked up, looking for something that could be a clue because according to them, surely the entrance was up there so had to use the stairs to get to that place.

"It was, in my dream," Felix said.

"You also saw this place in your dreams?" ask Ruby.

"Dear, go up there" Felix pointed up. There is a gap that can be entered, but from the outside it looks dark.

Ruby peeked out of the window that was nearby.

"This isn't Poppy's room?" ask Ruby.

Thomas and Felix approached and observed the room from outside the window in the backyard.

"Yes it's true this is Poppy's room," Felix is very sure because he's been there several times.

"Then where can we find the stairs?" ask Felix.

"At Poppy's mom's house. Yesterday I saw them take the stairs out of there" Thomas replied.

"All right, I'll sneak in," Felix asked.

"You just keep it here and watch the situation" Thomas said.

Ruby agrees and Thomas and Felix go sneak into Poppy's mother's house.

"I took the stairs, you keep them outside, yeah" Thomas said.

"Well," Felix agreed to Thomas' proposal.

Thomas had been watching Poppy's mother for a few days, who had been going out in the morning and at night lately without locking the door.

"Wait!" scream Felix.

"What?" Thomas just touched the doorknob to get in.

"I think it's a trap, so he didn't lock the door" he said.

After a moment of silence, Thomas retreated and approached Felix.

"You get away from here, I'm going in" whispered Thomas.

"No, I'll be on my guard" Felix replied.

They were silent again for a while.

"You can check the back of this house? Maybe there's another way for us to get in" Thomas said.

"I'll check, you stay quiet don't come in" Felix replied.

Felix went to the back of the house and observed around there. However, there was no gap they could use to sneak into the house.

Felix returns to the front of the house but discovers that Thomas is already inside the house.

Felix from the window looked at Thomas with an angry face. However, Thomas calms Felix that all will be well. Not long inside the house, Thomas came out of the house.

"There were no stairs, only two rooms and one kitchen and one bathroom there and after I checked there were no stairs" Thomas said.

"Yes" Felix replied angrily.

"Why are you worried about me? Aren't you annoyed at me at first hahaha," Thomas laughed as he walked towards the motel and was overtaken by Felix.

From a distance, Felix sees Ruby crouching with an old woman.

"The woman" said Felix.

"Who is he?" ask Thomas.

"Later I'll explain" Felix replied.

They rushed over to Ruby who was involved in a chat that looked quite serious.

"All of you must leave immediately" said the woman.

"What's up, Bu?" Thomas curious.

"They will perform rituals during the full moon, you must leave immediately or you will be made into a collision" said the woman.

Felix secretly recorded their conversation.

"This ritual was supposed to be done 10 years ago and I was with my lover who was crushed by my own brother, but I managed to escape and my lover was killed," the woman began to tell me.

"But why should we?" ask Felix in wonder.

"Human life that becomes a maximum of 25 years. And for 6 years I hid from my brother and showed up a few years ago. I tried to expose all this to the public but they thought I was crazy plus my brother spread rumors that I was really affected by mental disorders" he continued.

"Then what should we do?" ask Thomas.

"Go as far as possible" the woman replied.

"However, be careful. Outside the motel there was strict guard. If you go and pass by that fallen tree, there are already many sect members standing guard" he added.

"Who do you mean your brother?" ask Ruby.

"Ann" answered the woman.

"Whose mother's name? ask Ruby.

"Anne" he answered.

"We were a pair of twins but somehow since when he had such a sect. And he sacrificed lovers, must be a couple of lovers who are young," added the woman named Anne.

"But you're not as old as I thought you would be" said Felix, who, after observing Anne, realized he wasn't too old. Still about 40 years old, meaning the twin is the same.

"Where does your brother live?" ask Thomas.

"The owner of this motel, Poppy's mother," he whispered.

Felix and Ruby were not too surprised because they had felt strange since a few days ago.

"Our hair has changed from a young age, because of heredity" Anne added.

Felix, Ruby, and Thomas recorded every piece of information they got.

"Where do you live?" ask Felix.

Ruby smiled and looked at Felix and Thomas.

"Ask this girl. I must leave immediately" replied Anne . He left all three of them there.

"Now we go in first" Ruby asked.

While walking towards the room, Felix and Thomas continued to rave at Ruby with various questions. Eventually they reach the room and Ruby starts telling stories while taking something out of her jacket pocket.
