Episodes 35. Worrying

“Defined forest? I never heard of.”

The man stepped out, he crouched down and dug the ground. “Iya, he said this forest belongs to the devil. Anyone who comes in here, will not be able to come out again.” The man took out a cloth bag from inside the ground, he stood up and turned his head towards Audrey. “Include, my name is Daniel. What's your name?”

“I A-introduce, my name is Chelsea,” Audrey said after a long silence. 'I don't know who this guy is, so I can't tell you his identity and my name. He could be evil and want to use the time to use me.'

“Chelsea, beautiful name. Why did you get into this forest?” daniel asked as he walked in, Audrey who did not know where to go could only follow him out of the cave.

“I accidentally got in here and got lost, do you know how to get out of this forest?”

Daniel stopped, he held his chin thinking. “Hem, I don't know much about this forest. I also don't know how to get you out, how about my village first? After that, we can discuss with the villagers. Maybe they know a way to get you out.”

Audrey hesitantly nodded, Daniel smiled. “Come follow me.”

Not long after, the two arrived at a small village located on the edge of the ravine. Daniel glanced at Audrey at a glance before returning to continue his journey.

“Sister Daniel, you're back.” A little girl put down the wood she was carrying and ran towards Daniel, she hugged the man with a smile.

“Lily, why are you here? Why not just rest?” daniel asked as he rubbed the little girl's hair, the little girl looked up a little.

“I'm waiting for big brother, auntie says-” Lily turned her head towards Audrey who was standing not far behind Daniel. “Who is he?”

“Ah, introduce. He's Chelsea, he's lost in the woods and I asked him to stay in the village for a few days. Where is the village chief? I'd like to meet and introduce Chelsea.”

“Hay, Brother Chelsea. I'm Lily,” say hello Lily ended with a sweet smile, Audrey smiled clumsyly.

“Come, I'll take you to the house of the village chief sir.” Daniel just clasped Audrey's hand and pulled her away, Lily smiled as she watched the two. But his smile instantly faded as the two of them had disappeared from his sight replaced with an irritated face.

He clenched his hands and clucked. 'Brother Daniel can only be mine! He shouldn't have held the hand of another girl!'

“Thank you for allowing it, Mr. village chief.” Daniel smiled, the middle-aged man in front of him nodded.

“Nak Chelsea, I want to tell you not to go out at night.” The village chief turned to look at Audrey.

“What's up, Sir?”

The village chief turned his head towards Daniel, the man nodded and turned his head towards Audrey. “Let's go back, I'll tell you later.” She clasped Audrey's hand and took her away.

The village chief looked at the two with a strange look. “Beware.”

“Sit here, I'll ask Lily to deliver food for you.”

“Ah, no need to bother. Let me do the cooking myself, where's the kitchen?”

Audrey was silent for a few seconds before smiling. “It's okay, you guys just let me stay that's enough. Let me cook today, I beg.”

Daniel massaged his temple. “Alright, tell Lily. She will show her kitchen.”

“Good.”

“Then, I'll go. Lily should be home in a minute.”

Audrey nodded, Daniel smiled faintly and walked out. After the door closed, Audrey sat on the edge of the mattress sighing.

He stood up and walked out. 'Hopefully Black and White are fine, I better pick them up first or they will continue to roar and disturb people.” Audrey chuckled amusedly, she walked out secretly and headed to the village entrance. The place left the two small animals.

But when he got there. Audrey didn't see anyone. “Black, White. Where are you guys?”

The day grew darker while Black and White did not also come, Audrey clucked while grinning her waist. 'Where are you??' He sighed, Audrey walked out of the village while looking around. But he did not find the two small animals.

Audrey rattled in frustration, she sat on the large rocks on the riverbank. “Actually where are you guys?” murmured Audrey, not long after. The sound of dog barking, Audrey turned.

He immediately jumped down and respected Black who instantly fell to the ground. “Black, what happened?? Where is White?”

Black howled long towards the forest before becoming unconscious. “Where is White?”

Audrey carried Black and ran towards the forest, her premonition suddenly becoming uneasy. He ran as fast as he could, almost five minutes passed. Audrey's steps stopped, her eyes unable to escape on an animal lying on the ground and having been skinned.

“White!” Audrey immediately walked over to the animal that White thought she was, she was speechless. Eyes rounded.

Suddenly, a roar sounded from behind him. Audrey looked back, a white tiger stepped towards her while roaring. “White, thank goodness you're okay. You really worry me!” audrey said as she approached the lowered White, the girl's gaze then turned to the animal lying on the ground. “Then what animal is it? Did you and Black hunt him?”

White again roared, Audrey smiled. He rubbed White's head. “You guys, should have told me something before you left. Do you know, I was really worried when I didn't see you there. And I'm sorry too, I forgot to feed you.”

Audrey looked down, looking at Black who was in the sling. He anxiously pinched the puppy's cheek and made him wake up. “You're this, I think you're dead.”

Black just barked with his cute face, Audrey chuckled small. “Let's go back, Lily and Daniel must have been waiting for us.”

White began to shrink, Audrey carried him and took him away. After the departure of both.

The carcass of the abandoned animal suddenly gave off a black aura and a pungent smell, flames suddenly appeared on the carcass. Almost like paper, the carcass burned to ashes and was then blown away by the wind. But the smell of the black dust and black aura continued to pour out from within the ground.

The black aura encircled one of the trees that were there, the tree suddenly seemed to be sucked by something into the ground and disappeared. The ground where the tree was turned into a suction mud.

“Please enjoy, sorry if it takes too long. I was out looking for two of my pets.” Audrey glanced at Black and White who were playing each other, as if the two were disregarding their differences.

“It's okay, let's sit down and eat together.”
