Being an Antagonist in a Novel
Episodes 1. Memories of the past

Audrey chewed the food in her mouth, after hearing the explanation from Lixi. He became more convinced that he was actually time-traveling like he often sees on television.

“Let's open his mouth,” Damien said as he spooned the porridge into Audrey's mouth, obediently. He opened his mouth and chewed.

“Sister, is sister no other business?”

Damien who was stirring the porridge looked up at Audrey, he smiled faintly. “Kakak today is a holiday to keep his beloved sister in order to keep eating and recover quickly.”

'Precisely because of your arrival, I was unable to rest in peace. Especially thinking about the plot of the novel and also my fate that became an antagonist.'

“Oh yes, although not willing. But you have to go back to the empire tomorrow, Mike and Caesar will take turns looking after you. Let me know if they've got you!” Audrey nodded slowly.

“Does Brother not want to visit Mother? she must be very worried about my situation, it is better for Brother to visit Mother and tell her that I am fine.” Audrey smiled sweetly to convince Demian, after a long silence. The man smiled faintly and placed the bowl of porridge on the table, he then ruffled Audrey's hair and stood up.

“Alright, you rest in peace. I'll see Mother.” Damian stepped out of Audrey's room, after the door closed. The girl breathed a sigh of relief.

'Luckily he was gone, so I could think calmly and peacefully. What does it mean to rest in peace? he thinks I'm dead, what??' Audrey clucked, she stood up and walked towards the window.

'If I want to live a quiet life, then I have to change the plot of the novel. Despite not getting any memories from Audrey, at least I still remember the plot of the novel that could lead me not to become like the antagonist Audrey. Besides, I'm not gonna get Audrey's family in trouble again, even though some of the plot I don't remember, at least as long as I'm Audrey.'

The sound of knocking on the door made Audrey sleep deeply disturbed, she rubbed her eyes slowly and woke up.

“Who?” No answer made Audrey feel strange with the situation felt so lonely and creepy, she stood up and walked towards the door.

Audrey opened her bedroom door slowly, her eyes perfectly rounded. The cry for help, the light of a hot fire. Blood on the floor and walls.

Audrey covered her mouth with both hands, she saw Audrey's blood-soaked, lifeless family on the floor.

'Wh-what happened?? Brother Damien! where is she??' Audrey looked around, trying to find Damien. After finding her still alive, Audrey breathed a sigh of relief. But only for a moment, because an arrow suddenly shot through Damien's heart that just stood still.

“No!!”

Audrey opened her eyes with a breath of breath, sweat drenching her face. He looked over and saw Damian sleeping on the sofa.

Audrey touched her chest, she could feel her heart beating fast.

'What dream was that?'

“Yes, I just had a bad dream. Sorry to disturb your sleep, Brother.” Audrey scratched her cheek and smiled sillyly, Damian got up and leaned back.

“It's okay, what do you dream of?” ask Damian who is still in a state of collecting lives.

'Do I have to be honest about the dream? nope, no! it's possible that the dream was a clue, a plot when Audrey's family was tragically wiped out. Although it feels a bit different from the dream earlier.'

“It doesn't matter, anyway. Dreams are just sleeping flowers, Brother rest back. I want to take water first.” Audrey stood up, she was about to step up but was stopped by Damian.

“Let brother take you, you rest again.” Damian stood up, while Audrey nodded and sat down on the edge of her bed. He watched Damian walking out of his room.

Audrey lowered her head when the door had closed, she sighed softly. 'Strange dream, but is it really the plot of the Audrey family's destruction? but why do I feel. The plot is a little different than what I've read? Or was there something in the dream, but what?' Audrey tapped her chin thinking.

“Audrey?”

Audrey immediately regained her senses from her daydream, she turned to the origin of the voice and saw a sweet smiling foreign man towards her. Audrey replied with a smile that was no less sweet.

“Sister Caesar, Brother is here? I think Brother is busy being a knight of the Crown Prince.”

“My sweet little sister, how are you doing now?” Caesar sat next to Audrey.

“I've been better, Brother Damian took good care of me. Although it is a bit troublesome because he always forbids brother Mike from entering.” Caesar chuckled lightly hearing her, she stroked Audrey's hair gently.

“Sorry that you can't take care of you, actually when you know you were poisoned. Brother also wants to go home with Damian, but big brother also cannot leave the empire because Damian really wants to see you.”

“Why are you here?” damian's poignant tone did not make the smile on Caesar's face fade, it widened. She embraced Audrey who had already put an empty glass on the table.

“Of course, look at my sister,” press Caesar at the end of his sentence. “Get your hands off, stupid brother!” Damian immediately hit the soft hand of Caesar on Audrey's shoulder.

“Argh, look Audrey. He hit my hand hard,” Caesar's fight while holding his hand that Damian was carrying.

“Don't believe it, he lied Audrey! Caesar just pretends.” Damian tried to defend himself, Caesar and Damian stared at each other with annoyed looks.

Audrey chuckled slightly and made the two turn their heads towards Audrey simultaneously.
