Episode 31's. Truth

“A-audrey, what do you mean?” asking Caesar who had just come, Audrey turned towards Caesar. She wrapped her hands around the arms of the man beside her.

“Hay, Sister Caesar. Oops, I mean Young Master Caesar. We meet again, I'm Laura.”

“A-what??”

“Yes, I am Laura. You must remember me, right?”

Caesar clenched his hands. “Why did you get here?”

Audrey touched her chin with her index finger. “Ah, why yes? Maybe to take something that should have been mine,” said Audrey ending a thin grin.

“Laura, let's go back. Looks like more and more help is leading here.”

Audrey nodded, she followed the man. But his steps instantly came to a halt as someone withdrew his hand. “What's up?”

“Audrey, why are you doing this?? You don't have to go with them and sacrifice yourself! I can save you and your family!”

Audrey chuckled amusedly, she turned around and looked at the man who was still clasping her hands. “Your Majesty, it seems you misunderstood. I'm not Audrey, Audrey is long dead.”

“What do you mean, Audrey?? Why are you saying that!?”

Audrey released the grasp of the man in front of her, her face showing reluctance. “I hate you, Xavier. Never come near me let alone come to me!”

Audrey walked away, The man glanced at Xavier at a glance before following Audrey. Simultaneously, the monsters had turned into dust flying in the wind.

“What does that mean?” muttered Xavier while watching Audrey who was getting away and disappeared.

Xavier turned his head towards the Grand Duke who was walking towards him. “How are you guys doing?”

“We are fine, I just want to say important things.”

“This. about Audrey.”.

Xavier's eyes turned flat. “Tell.”

“Actually, a thousand years ago.” The Grand Duke begins to recount the events that occurred a thousand years ago, where the ancestors of the Grand Duke family accidentally killed an elf girl who turned out to be a queen from the demon world.

Audrey nodded enthusiastically, she walked inside but could not see anything due to the pitch-black room. The door behind her suddenly closed itself, Audrey frantically knocked on the door and called out the man's name but there was no reply at all.

Suddenly, there was a roar from behind. Audrey fell silent, her body as if it could not be moved.

He turned around, his eyes instantly rounded as he looked at a white-colored giant tiger that was caged before him. The tiger continued to roar and stared at Audrey as if ready to pounce on the girl at any moment.

Audrey was sitting on the floor, her body shaking uncontrollably. “M-this monster.this monster that killed me,” Audrey muttered, her eyes as if heating up. A drop after a drop of water flowed down his cheeks. “M-impossible right, this is impossible. Raymond-”

“True, I finished you off.”

Audrey looked up at the cage that locked up the tiger, the handsome man who had originally smiled warmly a few minutes ago had now changed. Stare at him with a smirk and a satisfied smile.

“Yes, Laura. I finished you off, this tiger is my pet. A thousand years ago, you died because of him. And today, you'll be back to die because of him too.”

“Raymond, why.. why are you doing this?” audrey asked, her chest tight. The man who was loved for many years, awaited for a thousand years turned out to finish himself.
