Back To the Beginning

Back To the Beginning
Small Factory

Some people started to appear in my view.

About the number of people who are here is not up to 20 people. Very few with other large factories.

Maybe they are all workers.

Some were dressed badly and some were dressed cleanly. Workers with neat clean clothes can be counted with one hand.

The workers looked at us and walked over. Of course in the direction of Mr.Meinhard.

From their movements, they were most likely the head of the work that governed the other work.

Once close, the workers lifted their protective hats and placed them in front of their chest. Maybe as a sign of respect.

"Good day Mr.Meinhard," greet one of the chiefs of work, representing the other workers.

"Yes, good day too. How is the current state?" ask Mr.Meinhard.

"It's still safe to control sir."

"Good."

"By the way, sir, who are the children behind you?"

The whole view of the people was turned towards me and Noland.

"They are special people. They've been in contact with me."

All the eyes I could see instantly grew as if shocked. Some people started looking at each other and whispering.

Maybe because it had not been stared at by many people for a long time, I felt uncomfortable with their gaze and behavior. They were less than 20 people.

Meanwhile, Noland beside me seemed to remain comfortable and still pay attention around.

"What about the stuff I asked for? are you ready?" ask Mr.Meinhard to change the topic.

"After! already Sir. Please follow me."

The three of us with Mr. Meinhard in front and Noland beside me who still did not say a word, followed the head of work who seemed to lead us to our place.

We were headed east, past some busy people with machines near them.

I don't know what kind of machine they're using, maybe because it's too old-fashioned.

Just try to get one of the machines here in my past life, I can definitely auction it off at a very high price.

While walking, Noland beside me might not bear the curiosity, he began to open the conversation to Mr.Meinhard.

"Mr.Meinhard, what is this place for?" asked Noland while walking closer to Mr.Meinhard's side.

"this place? This is the place to test the products that will be produced."

"So, it's not just our products that are being tested here?"

"Yes you're right. I also tested some products. For example, take a look in that direction," said Mr. Meinhard, pointing to one of the machines at work.

"The machine is producing dye for the painting and we are testing it" Mr. Meinhard explained.

"Color painting? isn't that already for sale out there?" ask Noland.

"really. But isn't it expensive?"

"Emm I don't know. I never painted" said Noland, shrugging both shoulders.

"Thul? You should try it once in a while. The price of painting dyes with high quality is still a little expensive. Our goal is to find a way to lower the price of the dye and try to maintain its quality."

"Why should the price of the dye be lowered?"

"The cheaper the price of an item, the greater the probability of its sale. Or in other words, the more that will buy."

"ah! I-i understand. Thank you Mr. Meinhard."

Mr.Meinhard nodded with a light smile.

I just kept quiet and listened to their conversation from behind while guessing where we were going.

Although this factory is fairly small, but it turns out this factory is divided into several rooms with different activities.

After going through several rooms, it seemed like we arrived at the place in question. The person who led us stopped and pointed his hand at one of the tables in this room.

"Here sir, all the things you asked for are already on the table."

Right, not just one table. There are 4 straight lined tables with various tools and materials on it that have been arranged in such a way that it looks neat.

My hands can't wait to tinker with the stuff up there.

"Thank you" said Mr. Meinhard.

Neither I nor Noland forgot to thank the man who led us.

The man lowered his head and asked for permission to withdraw from the room. Mr.Meinhard.

Not wanting to linger, I immediately walked towards the tables beside me. Noland could not wait to see the results.

Noland and I were at the table. I touched some things in my reach and noticed them.

"Hows it? does it live up to your expectations?" asked Mr.Meinhard who was watching from behind.

"Arthur, what are we gonna do?" ask Noland who is impatient.

"We're going to do a miracle."

I grabbed the things I needed right now and placed them in my reach.

Mr.Meinhard walked over and stayed behind me, watching. And Noland beside me is ready to help.

Okay, let's get started.

First of all I prepared the furnace. This furnace still looks like a tube.

"Noland, please bring me the curved pot, bottle and round bottle" I asked for help pointing at the item in question.

"OK! leave it to me."

Noland took one by one the things I asked for exactly.

I received the pot and bottle that Noland had taken, and filled the water as I needed.

I put an anti-rust pot on the stove and lit the furnace, with the lid of the pan open.

I put together a round, curved bottle with a bottle containing half water, and then put it in a pot with a 30° angle.

After that I wrapped the ice in one bag and placed it on top of a round tube.

And the time is awaited.

When the water boils, the water in the bottle dipped in boiling pot water will give off water vapor.

Since I put a bag of ice on the round bottle, the water vapor will be drawn towards the round bottle. Will gather and become distilled water.

"Well,ow! water's up there!" exclaiming Noland while pointing towards the round bottle.

I looked at Mr. Meinhard behind me. It turned out that he was carefully recording the process with the classic paper and pen in his hand. His face looks very focused.

"Continue" he said.

After all the water was collected, I turned off the furnace and took the bottle with the cloth carefully.

"Next I need flowers" I said to Noland.

"It's Arthur! this is what I think is the most fragrant," said Noland, offering a few roses.

"OK!"

I took some rose petals, washed them, and slightly chopped them.

I'm setting up a mixing device, or maybe I can say it's a machine.

I put in the roses and water from my distillery earlier. And mixing.

In fact, for best results should be kept for one night. But for the sample I'll speed up the process with this technology. Let Mr.Meinhard think about improving his quality later.

After a while, I turned off the mixing device and took out the liquid inside.

The smell of flowers is also smelled.

I take the bottle, and filter this liquid into the bottle. After that, I prepared a rod or atomizer that conforms to Bernouli (Physics) principles and I used it to cover perfume bottles.

How does it work? need me to explain? okay so this is it...

"Whoah! is it done?!" noland was very enthusiastic.

... Ah, maybe next time.

"Ah yes..h is done," I said as I lifted the perfume bottle.

"Try me to wear it" said Noland, asking for a perfume bottle in my hand.

"Press that part to spray it," I said, pointing at the part in question.

Mr.Meinhard looked back enthusiastically.

Noland pointed the perfume hole at his hand and I helped him to spray it.

Liquids that look like gas come out of the sprayer rod.

Noland immediately brought his nose closer to the hand that was exposed to the liquid.

"kiss! I smell the fragrant roses!" noland with spirit.

And he kissed her again. After that he pointed his hand towards Mr.Meinhard, inviting him to smell his scent as well.

It seems Mr.Meinhard was a little surprised.

"Of course it's still a low-level product, I still have the next high-level recipe" I said, folding my hand proudly.

"A higher level?!" mr. Meinhard said in disbelief.

"Of course!"

From Mr.Meinhard's eyes, I can see he is very enthusiastic and eager to see other products.

All right, let's move on again.
