53 . FEAR

BUKK!

BUKK!

BRAKKK!

A red liquid dripped from the corner of the lips of a brunette man. His body that was already barely able to get up was only able to give up on what the young man was doing for him. He wiped the blood and grimaced, then looked at the blue-eyed young man in front of him and laughed insularly.

“Do you love her, huh?” ledek.

Adnan's emotions have reached *******. He could no longer bear the words that the man spoke. Even if the man had to die at his hands, then he would.

Hubert tried to stand up slowly by holding on to the edge of a nearby glass window. He looked back at the young man in front of him with an already chaotic look.

“I'm just telling the truth, Adnan,” he said. “You think, why do I want you dead and even throw you into Cosmo, huh?”

Saliva Adnan gulped. His mind was raging with the monsters that wanted to squeeze out of his lair now.

He fell silent, trying to recall what he had heard from the brunette man's mouth since earlier. The other side of him tried to resist, but how could it be? All the things that had been believed by him were precisely the mastermind behind all this destruction. All things that Adnan is hostile to, even become a turning point of truth that has never been revealed.

In fact, the figure standing before him was currently .. Is it really?

“Frederick Add ... is dead.”

Adnan's blue eyes are breaking. His hands clenched tightly, as groans came out of his mouth. That young man

landed his rough kick on Hubert's face, mercilessly many times.

Adnan's breath was puffed. His heart hunt. He turned Hubert's body upside down and directly hit him in the face

that guy's. Not hitting, but punching him several times until Hubert's face and the back of Adnan's hand were filled with red stains.

Adnan pulled Hubert's collar and prepared with his slap this time. However, the man laughed and stopped Adnan's movements immediately.

“They must have brainwashed you a long time ago,” Hubert said. “You ... and also everyone.”

Hubert's brown eyes still shone brightly in situations as complex as these. As if to say something, the man screeched wryly. He looked at the young man who was staring fiercely at him.

“What do you mean?” The young man finally decided to talk among his breathing stingers who were still hunting. “What do you mean?!”

Hubert chuckled while trying to gulp for a moment. One hand pointed at Adnan's chest. “Friends are opponents,” he said. “Fight is friend.”

Various question marks suddenly soared high above Adnan's head at this time. He really couldn't guess the way his former commander's mind was right now.

“In your opinion, why am I ambitious like this, huh?” Hubert sniffed next to his eyebrows. Her index landed on Adnan's chest several times. “All because of human ambition like you who want peace, Ad.

“Peace does not exist,” Hubert added. “You won't be able to find it anywhere, even with

your own brother, friend, or girlfriend.”

Adnan's teeth rubbed rough against each other. His hand gripping Hubert's collar tightened it until the man suffered from tightness.

“Tell me, what have you kept all this time?”

Hubert grinned. With red stains and bruises all over the side made his face look chaotic. “Rebellion, betrayal. Covert crime. All on the basis of peace,” he said.

Adnan's face grew more violent when the man seemed to be playing tricks on him now. He groaned, then

“I've told you several times, Ad,” said the man. “You don't understand either.”

“What have you been telling me all this time? What?!” gertak Adnan's. “You're just using me for your own sake. You control me. You even control your own son!”

Hubert sniggered for a moment. “You think so?” he glanced at the black-haired young man with a small smile. “I didn't use you and I didn't control you,” he said. “I also do not control the person whom you have always regarded as my son.”

Adnan was stuck for a moment. “What do you mean?”

The man smiled wryly. “What do you think makes me and Erick look alike?” rhetorical reply. “Hm?”

In this instant, Adnan could only fall silent. His fist stretched out, along with various feelings of turmoil and

confusion that ran through his mind.

“Frederick Add .. is not my son,” continued the man. “He is an orphan entrusted to Cosmo, just like you.”

Hubert leaned against the wall directly adjacent to the outside. He sighed for a moment, then re-wetted his dry throat after the event.

“I never thought of him as my son even though I gave him my family name,”. “You guys have been over-expecting me and him as father and son. Yes, ‘kan?”

Adnan is still tight-lipped. “Then, what are you doing to him now?” His hand pointed towards the door

still closed. “She was there, ‘kan?”

Hubert turned to the door that Adnan pointed to, then looked back at the young man. “Do you think?” tanyakanya. “Who told you he was behind that door? Who told you to go into that room? Is he your other friend? Or...is he an opponent you should be facing now?”

Netra the young man whose full name is Adnan Harris was intercepted. His faith seemed to be torn down by Hubert's words to him.

“How could he know there was someone else behind that door?” Hubert pointed to the door that Adnan believed to be the location of Erick's captivity. “Has he mastered the layout of this base before? Was he the one who restored this headquarters before? Or... Did someone tell her to say this to you?”

“But you have Alan too?!” the 17-year-old man with his hands pointed at Hubert. “You threw me into Cosmo so I could die there. You locked Erick up. And you got Alan, too. You could've twisted all these facts so that I would reject Cosmo's plan and come back to you. So, ‘kan?”

Hubert fell silent, then chuckled. To the point that he was holding onto his stomach which was hurting.

“Do I look like I'm manipulating you?” tanyanya half laughed. “How about I throw you into

Cosmo just so you know the truth that's locked in there? And also, how is it possible and why am I keeping Alan and Erick? You think, why would I do that? Do I look hostile to them while you're here? Is that?”

“Hubert ...”

Adnan clenched his hand. He walked towards the man and directly landed a raw bogem on his face. Many times and followed until he slammed the man into the other side of the wall until it fell back. Adnan also kicked his body many times, venting out all the emotions that were confined within him.

Meanwhile, Hubert could only giggle. He grimaced, holding the marks of Adnan's kick in his stomach that

feels pain.

“Kill me now,” hisses, then glanced at the blue-eyed youth. “Kill me before them

get here, if you don't want all this truth to unfold.”

Adnan was back. His diamond-blue eyes at the bottom of the ocean turned red for no apparent reason. Him

kneeling near the drowning man. Seen from the look of Hubert's eyes who wanted to talk to him about something.

“Not me ...” Hubert's voice sounded hoarse. “It wasn't me who started the event five years ago.”
