Jo dropped his body violently to the ground. A long gust of breath broke through perfectly from his nostrils and mouth. But something caught his attention. A girl standing not far from her position had snatched away the young man's consciousness now.
“You like it?” said someone who immediately sat next to Jo.
The young man then raised both eyebrows, looking at the man who had just sat down. He shook.
“Do the Lieutenant know him? Looks like they are so close,” said Sam—man it— while looking towards Adara and Jason up ahead.
“Entah,” timpal Jo half watered.
Sam flinching. His eyes were now staring at the sky where the dark began to approach their position. For a moment, he turned to look at the entire APC and Clibanarii parked randomly around him. Doctor Kei gave a momentary look for her, but she ignored it.
“What is the branch spot still far from here?” jo asked, breaking the silence.
The man thought for a moment. “According to the map anyway .. yes. It's still very far away. But we're still trying to get in touch with the center to get help here right away. Because if not ...” Sam hung up his words. His eyes were fixed on the little girl who ran over to them, then dexterously hugged Jo. He smiled as he ruffled the girl's hair.
“You've eaten?” ask Jo to her sister, Jun. The little girl nodded quickly. “What is the food good?” ask Jo again.
“Enak,” reply Jun. “From me eating the can!”
Sam laughed at the boy's response. He ruffled Jun's jet-black hair again, before someone finally changed their focus. The man looked at the figure that had just approached, then got up from his position. “Rest in APC for tonight,” Sam said before finally passing with Jason by his side.
Meanwhile, Jo looks at the departure of the two men. They are talking about things they don't even know. Until a few seconds later, Adara unraveled the young man's daydream.
“You've eaten?” ask the girl while kneeling near Jo. The young man frowned at Adara and made the girl misbehave. “Why?”
“Don't look at me like that!” sergeant Jo got up from his seat.
Adara frowning. “What's wrong with you?” the scales.
Jo looked at the girl meaningfully. “You ... save something from me, ‘kan?” he said back asking. “What's with your relationship with Lieutenant? You guys seem to know a long time.”
Liur Adara gulped. He was half down. It was as true as Jo had thought. The girl kept something.
Jo sighed for a moment. “Rest,” her word wails. “Let me be on guard tonight.”
“I'm sorry.”
Both of Jo's eyebrows shot up in a flash hearing Adara's words just now. “For what?” tanyakanya. “For your secret?”
The girl immediately raised her gaze, looking at the young man before her.
“Already, it's okay,” said the young man. “Again .. it's not my business to know.”
A smile was etched perfectly on the corner of the young man's lips, before he finally invited Jun back to the APC. Meanwhile, Adara was still glued to her position. The girl repeatedly adjusted her breathing rhythm to return to normal.
A split minute later, the girl's gaze pointed towards the sky. The birds seem to be starting towards the contest. He took a sip of saliva while thinking of something that still stuck in his brain until now. The whereabouts of someone who remains a mystery to Adara and also about her mother's response later when she and the refugee troupe arrive at the center.
“You haven't returned to APC yet apparently,” said someone appeared to approach the girl.
Adara turned to look at the man. He took a long breath for a moment.
“Already, don't think too much,” said the man.
“But, Lieutenant—“
Jason let out a long sigh, cutting off the speech of the girl nearby. “I told you, ‘kan, just call Jason. No need to use the department,” he said a little annoyed.
“So I called the Captain you did it,” grumbled Adara. “Anu ..” Adara opened her mouth again. “Is there a reply from the center again?” tanyanya.
The man nodded. “Don't center, branch spot alone is like losing his life at the moment,” he said. “We only have three hours to rest before the enemy planes return to attack. You better get some rest!”
“Obviously I told you to rest, Adara,” said the man half-holds laughter. “If you are sick, then who leads us if the enemy forces return to attack, hm?”
Adara looked at Jason. The man raised his brows for a moment, hinting at his meaningful remark. “I ... still can't,” shriek the girl. Her black strands of hair danced gracefully in the wind. “I definitely won't be able to,” he continued, still in the same vein.
Jason looked at the girl in front of him. The silence held them both for a few minutes. “Pacify
you first,” said the man later. He looked in different directions, reluctant to look at Adara.
Meanwhile, the girl in pigtails now looks at Jason and waits for the man to say something to him again, like a moment ago before he approached Jo.
“You think ... Paladin who's waiting for now, hm?” The man opened his mouth again, and asked a question that immediately struck the girl before him. The crisp curate was engraved clearly on the corner of Jason's lips and Adara could see it clearly.
“I can't control that Clibanarii with my dirty hands, Adara,”. “So, I hope you prepare yourself from this moment.”
Adara nodded in understanding before Jason patted her shoulder steadily and passed. It was already the responsibility of the girl for now, protecting the remaining eastern alliance colony. However, on the other hand, he did not want to re-chant his old wounds because of the loss of his father due to the war five years ago. The scratches still felt painful and Adara really did not want to carve it deeper.
His net again looked at the increasingly dark orange sky. His burrow was swallowed several times, while trying to interpret the figure that had been locked tightly in his mind.
Where are you now?

A young man opened his eyes. Something suddenly appeared in his brain. The shadow of the figure of the girl he had been looking for, again appeared in his dream.
Adnan quickly woke up from his sleep in a limp. The pain in his back is still grunting until now. Many times he tried to just stand and walk around the room, but it seemed like the pain of winning their bet this time. The young man gave up and went back to his bed. Even now, Adnan can only sit on a medical mattress that is not even suitable for patients like him. Hubert really made the young man grieve more and more this time.
“Available?” someone who just entered the room.
The young man turned his head towards the door and found the same person as his outpatient room newcomer some time ago. “Has allotted check again?” tanyanya doubt.
Alan chuckled for a moment in response to Adnan's question. The young man seemed to be bored of being in the room, visible from his current disheveled expression. “Not yet,” answered. “I just want to come here.”
Adnan did not respond. He just looked at the doctor who was now sitting on the edge of the bed and returned his gaze.
“Thinking something?” as for Alan, it made the young man flinch. “Air. You think about it?”
Adnan remained silent. His gaze was directed out of the room window made of thick glass. Meanwhile, Alan looked in the same direction.
“Erick successfully completed his mission,” said the man, embracing Adnan's focus on looking at him. “Spot Ankaa belongs to your origin alliance successfully destroyed.”
The blue eyeball of the young man widened instantly. His breathing felt clenched for a moment, accompanied by his emotions that were ready to explode whenever he wanted to. The doctor looked straight back at the young man before landing one of his hands on Adnan's shoulder.
“You ... already know what I mean, ‘kan?”
Adnan was still unmoved in his shock. He was right about the reason Erick destroyed the spot belonging to the eastern alliance. Especially if not the young man obeyed the wishes or requirements of his own father.
“Adnan?” Alan patted the young man on the shoulder, trying to parse his daydream because the doctor saw Adnan's breath was hunting.
After a few seconds, Adnan ducked, landing his head between his knees. He did not care about the pain in his back. The pain of Erick's treatment of him is now much more painful than the former accident. Many times one of his other hands clenched and hit the mattress very hard.
Meanwhile, Alan himself chose silence. He could not prevent everything that was happening now. Gusts
a long breath broke through perfectly from his nose. The man threw a look out the window.
You really have brought your own best friend to the hellhole, Erick.
