PHASE 10 . NEW SPOT

“Clibanarii,” murmured Jo while walking down some semi-permanent buildings inhabited by residents.

His eyes looked to and fro, looking at the various kinds of activities that people were doing at this time. Some technicians are still busy with their work, even though the afternoon has come. Sayup-sayup is heard chirping birds who will return to their contest among the whirring wind.

The spot looks like a spot in general. However, what makes it look different is because of the existence of Tarnnet which is a protector of this spot from outside threats. Tarnnet disguises the existence of spots until it is not seen at all by enemy sight. The birds that appear to fly also actually fly on the surface of the invisible net, not in it.

“Wah, you're the one who was saved by Lieutenant Jason, ‘kan?” ask someone who hastened to approach Jo.

Jo turned to face the man while nodding. He guessed the man was two years younger than Jason, and he probably knew Jason well before Jo got to this place. His brain could not stop guessing. He looked back at each of the clothes the man was wearing.

“I Sam, chief technician at this spot,” said the man introduced himself.

“Chairman ... technician?” mummy Jo curious.

“Ah, yes. This spot is the only largest spot when compared to other spots. You should know this spot better. Come on, I'll take a tour!”

Sam embraced the young man's shoulder and invited him to see other technicians who were busy with work

which they lakoni. There are some people who are focusing on the screen of the device connected to the iron frame nearby. Others looked to be fixing some of the engine boxes.

“By the way, what's your name?” ask Sam.

“Jo. Just call me Jo,” replied the young man in black while paying attention to the surroundings. “Anu ..

what are you doing?”

“Prepare equipment for something,” timpal Sam agile. Jo frowned at him. “Clibanarii. You ever

hear that name?”

Jo flinched for a moment. “Clibanarii?” muttered.

The young man followed Sam's steps to a large building he thought was a warehouse. His eyes were blocked when he saw something behind the rolling door that was opened slowly by Sam. A giant humanoid robot stood gallantly in the huge building.

“This is Clibanarii,” Sam said as he approached the robot and touched it. “Clibanarii only used

at certain moments only. And, for now, it doesn't seem like it's time to use it yet,”.

“Why? Why not use it against the western alliance?” Leaning Jo asked Sam for a moment. “Why is he only kept here? You know, a lot of people out there are fighting to save themselves from the attacks of the western alliance. But why is a robot of this size only stored here and not used completely?”

Sam looked straight at the young man nearby while thinking for a moment.

“Western alliance has Clibanarii far superior to us. With the assault of their iron birds

it could also overwhelm us to save the residents out there. If we use the Clibanarii as a counterattack against their aircraft, they will be at greater risk if they later counter-attack using their Clibanarii,”.

“Hah?”

“Paladins. Our qualified Clibanarii technology was also heavily defeated by the western alliance's Clibanarii during a military operation five years ago.”

Jo flinched for a moment. His memory was ringing when he heard the name spoken by the man nearby just now. “Pa—Paladin?”

Sam nodded. “Paladin, Clibanarii controlled by the late Captain Yusagi was completely destroyed due to the operation

military at the time. He was attacked desperately by Clibanarii belonging to the western alliance while fighting to defend the territory that we had previously controlled,” he said, “and until now, Paladin was at the central headquarters and somehow his condition. I don't know if it's fixed, or not.”

“Captain ... Yusagi ..” Jo was thinking of something.

“Iya. He died during the military operation that destroyed the Paladin.” Sam skipped every inch

the body of a giant humanoid robot nearby. “He really died honorably. All I know is he's the captain of the pride of the eastern alliance and almost got his new post. Too bad, ‘kan, he failed because of his death it.”

Liur Jo swallowed perfectly. He managed to remember something that from a few seconds ago filled his brain.

“Ng ... Lieutenant Jason told me that only certain people can use the Paladin. Is that true?” tanyanya.

“Yap, that's right!” Sam nodded. “Paladin is set up in such a way that only a handful of people can

controls it. Even though you passed some tests, not necessarily you were destined to take control of the Paladin. The possibilities are very small.”

Sam rolled his eyes at Jo for a moment. Meanwhile, the young man nearby was again struggling with his thoughts.

“Do not daydream!” reprimand Sam while inspecting one of the gray parts of Clibanarii. “Conditions

“Why?” ask Jo curiously.

“Ah, it looks like you're right. Although now is not the time for this Clibanarii to be used, I better check the controller.” Sam chimed in as he entered the cockpit of the giant humanoid robot. Meanwhile, the young man who was with him was waiting below and looked pensive.

“Have you learned about this in school?” sam asked with his fingers busy pressing a few buttons in the room that only fit one person. “Jo!”

“Ah, be—not yet,” replied Jo watered. “I only attend public school.”

“What's wrong,” said the brown unraveling man. “I can teach you if you want.”

Jo's face suddenly twinkled. He looked up, looking at Sam whose body was slightly hidden in the cockpit.

“I briefly controlled Clibanarii before the great disaster occurred. And now, because Clibanarii is still not needed, I have to switch jobs,” Sam said, “if you want, I can teach you the basic control techniques. Indeed, all young people must learn military science to defend their alliance or themselves in the future. But most people don't care about that. How?”

Sam had a little head up to half his face visible to Jo. “You want?”

A split second later, he was again busy with the control screen in front of him after getting a nod reply

from Jo. Murat swooped wide engraved clearly on the edge of the man's lips until he almost showed a row of neat teeth.

“You managed to find a colleague, Sam,” he said alone.

Jason closes the door after escorting Adara back to the nursery, where there is already Jun

wait around. Adara's words continued to dwell in his mind. Moreover, when he again remembered the name of someone spoken by the girl.

“Yusagi ... Richard,” murmured with his frown interlocked.

“Hey! Very busy with you!” yell at someone who just came. He approached Jason who was being overwhelmed with grief.

Jason glanced for a moment at the man in the doctor's suit he knew, then again held his slightly dizzy head.

“Rest today, Lieutenant,” said the man.

“Do you not have a sedative, Doctor Kei?” Jason turned his narrowed eyes back to the man standing nearby.

Kei—sang doctor—long breath. “Medicine only makes you opiate,” he said chimed in. “Sleep there!”

“Ah, I need that medicine now!” jason raised his tone.

Kei scratched his nape which was not itchy at all while clucking and shaking his head. “Attack at that time really made you lose control, Lieutenant,” he said lightly.

Jason quickly grabbed Kei and relaxed his body to make the doctor almost fall. His eyes closed intentionally, letting the doctor guide his body.

“Argh!!! You really fucked me!” kuh Kei as he led Jason to follow his steps away

from that place. Meanwhile, the messy unraveling man glanced at him with a thin smile etched on his lips.

“You haven't slept?” adara asked a little girl who was curled up in bed.

“Where's Brother Jo?” The little girl asked back while looking at Adara with her innocent face.

“Come on,” Adara replied as she sat near Jun, the little girl. “She is looking for fresh air outside—”

“And didn't invite me?” sela Jun's.

Adara smiled thinly. Her hands gently combed Jun's hair strands. “How? You feeling better?” tannya

later then.

Jun nodded. “It feels very tired like running out far,” he said, “more comfortable if we go using an iron car like that time, Kak.”

The girl pussing nearby smiled widely. “Tomorrow morning you'll see if we go around. Hows it? You want?”

Jun nodded his head many times, agreeing to Adara's offer.

Meanwhile, the girl fell silent again. Her eyes stared at the window opening that made the goddess shine

the night went into the room freely. He thought back to someone—not his parents. His heart wondered about the state of the figure that always made his chest feel tight. Often, his head feels dizzy because it remembers the figure.
