23. The Tragedy of the Past

The one who broke through the door that was none other than Reynaldy was their upperclassman. He looked at them one by one.

"Well well well. It turns out that this year's new students I know a lot." said Reynaldy as he approached Hayden, Jonathan, Mario and Max followed two of his friends behind.

Hayden clenched his hands tightly.

"You.."

"Why are you here?" hayden asked with a sharp look in his eyes.

Reynaldy smiled obliquely looking at him.

"Why indeed? What is your business if I go to school here? I'm your upperclassman anyway, so I should have asked like that. Why are you guys here? Or.."

Reynaldy paused his sentence.

"You guys are following me on purpose?" he continued while smiling lightly.

"Hayden do you know him?" mario asked confusedly.

Hayden silent. He didn't want to answer exactly because he didn't want anything to happen to Max. He glanced at Max, who was looking at Reynaldy inside.

"aww. Who'sisthis? It's like you, Max?"

Mario frowned confusedly as well as Jonathan who just silently listened.

"I know.."

Reynaldy paused his words again.

"He's your twin brother, isn't he?"

Max nodded slowly. I don't know if he's confused right now. He doesn't know how to deal with Reynaldy. He doesn't remember Reynaldy at all. He forced himself to remember but did not produce any results at all, which there is a headache that is getting sick even more times the pain. He's really confused. What happened to his life in the past? Why are so many new people coming out? And even more confusingly, the new guys have their own secrets that keep Mario and the others from connecting with them. Max took his breath for a moment then exhaled slowly trying to relieve his pain.

"What else is it? Is there anything important you want to talk about until you get here?" max asks Hayden, Mario, and Jonathan to look at him.

"Max? Have you met him?" hayden asked in shock.

"Max? You knew her?" mario asked as he frowned confusedly.

Max pressed both his shoulders.

"Yesterday."

"Eitherway. Maybe I know him. I don't remember."

Max's overly honest answer made Reynaldy angry. He clenched his hand tightly and quickly charged toward Max and pulled Max's uniform collar until Max stood up from his seat.

"Max!!" surprised Mario, Jonathan and Hayden are off guard.

Mario immediately gripped Reynaldy's hand tightly.

"Let go of my sister!!" mario shouted and then threw Reynaldi's hand with all his might.

"Don't you dare touch my sister!! If just a little bit of my sister gets hurt, I won't hesitate to make you battered!!" shouted Mario angry.

Reynaldi chuckled softly while smiling obliquely.

"You can't really be.."

BUGH!

Uncompleted Reynaldy spoke, the crushing blow he got from Hayden until he fell to his knees.

"Don't fuck around! I could've reported you to the police and imprisoned you just like your sister!"

Reynaldy chuckled while rubbing the corners of his slightly injured lips.

BUGHOM!!

The back blow was delivered by Hayden right about his jaw.

"Stop!!!" max shouted and held Hayden's body so as not to hit Reynaldy again.

"Take off me Max! I have to teach him a lesson! He's the one who's been mence.."

"What's it?" max was confused.

Hayden kept silent and turned his face the other way. He does not want to answer. Max's condition is not good at the moment. He did not want to make Max's condition worse.

"You must not be rash. Remember we're still in the school environment." Max recalled Hayden.

"Yes what Max said is true. You don't want to be suspended, do you?" jonathan also warned.

Mario is still silent. He was trying to digest the conversations he had just listened to.

"Jail? Like brother? What's that supposed?" monologue Mario in heart.

Both of Mario's eyes suddenly faded. He also lifted his head.

"Don't he. The one who hurt Max?"

Mario clenched his hands tightly. He then approached Max and held Max's hand, making Max turn his head suddenly.

PROK'S! PROKK! PROKK!

Strong applause from Reynaldy. He, who has been helped by his friends, turns his attention to Max, Mario, Hayden and Jonathan.

"I understand. I get it now. Why do they look so protective of you, when usually you look the most powerful than others, it turns out you're sick now?"

An emotionally-burned Mario is about to raise his fist if Jonathan doesn't get in his way.

"See what you say, you son of a bitch!!" furious Mario.

"Yo calm Yo calm down." said Jonathan trying to calm down.

Reynaldy smiled obliquely.

"You have amnesia? Do I need to remind you of the accident, Max?"

Max scrunched his forehead confused.

"Don't you listen to him Max?!" remember Hayden but Max doesn't heed Hayden's words at all.

"What do you mean Rey? What accident do you mean?" ask Max curiously.

Reynaldy smiled.

"The accident that took away your memories when we were Junior High.."

Both Max's eyes are blotched.

"A-.pa..?!"

The flashes of memory kept spinning in his head. Max grimaces in pain to make Mario, Hayden and Jonathan panic.

FLASHBACKS

Reynaldi and his younger brother Roy attend the same Junior High School as Max and Hayden. They both often do it in school. They often bully their school friends and also often rob their friends of pocket money. But their crimes don't always work because they're often thwarted by Max. Max, who was Roy's classmate, often caught the crime of the two of them. They often hit. Rey and Roy always lose when dealing with Max. Max always warns them but they both never listen. One day they were back in the school cafeteria. They both hit one of the students who would not obey their orders. At that time Max who was not well saw the incident. Max could not stand still looking at it. He then approached Rey and Roy to stop their actions both but Max's condition at that time was not good enough to make Max lose and managed to drop on the floor. Rey and Roy, who saw that, certainly anticipated the situation to take revenge on Max. Roy strangles Max's neck still lying on the floor. Max almost runs out of oxygen if Hayden arrives too late to help Max. Some of the students who were there immediately reported it to the school and eventually Rey and Roy were suspended for a week. Rey and Roy certainly do not accept especially Roy. He who had been jealous of Max since the beginning, because Max was always adored-praised by his teachers and school friends thanks to the achievements and kindness that Max did, this incident made him hate Max even more.

"Where are you going Roy?" rey asked as she saw her sister rush down the stairs intending to go out of the house with a black jacket wrapped around her body.

"I just want to go for a walk." replied Roy.

"really? With this black jacket? The weather is hot like this. Aren't you hot?" wonder Rey.

"Whispering. I got on the bike so I got a jacket. I'm gone." said Roy.

Roy went to school secretly. He climbed up the back wall of the school and observed one by one the cars parked there. He smiled as he found the car he was looking for. He managed to open the car door and break the brakes. When finished, he immediately went from there by climbing the wall back and riding his motorcycle parked outside precisely next to the school wall.

"Are you sure you don't want me to take you?" ask Max about Hayden.

"*yes Max. I ordered a taxi online. You don't have to take me to the airport. The direction of your house and the airport is opposite." replied Hayden.

"Hhh.all right then. Give my regards to your appointment. Be careful on the road."

Hayden nodded*.

"*You're also careful Max."

Hayden then went out of the school gate while Max, he went to the security guard station to approach the driver who had come to pick up and they both immediately went to the parking lot to Max's car. They then drove by car to his house. On the way home suddenly the brakes could not be controlled and finally hit a tree. Fortunately, they both survived. The driver only suffered minor injuries but unfortunately for Max, he was seriously injured. He had a blow to his head and chest. The accident was of course immediately investigated by local authorities and on that day they immediately arrested the perpetrator, Roy's younger brother from Reynaldy. Evidence obtained from CCTV cameras installed behind the school*.

Rey, who did not accept her brother, had to be in prison and immediately came to the hospital two weeks after the incident. He came there because he heard Max had regained consciousness a few days ago. When he got to Max's ward suddenly the door opened, it was Hayden.

"What are you doing here, huh?!" yelled Hayden and grabbed the shirt Rey* was wearing*.

"*I came here to take revenge on Max! Max has to take responsibility!"

"Because of him Roy has to be in jail*!"

"I don't accept it!" scream Rey.

"*You're quiet! Your sister deserves the reward! It's not even worth what he's done to Max!" scream Hayden.

Rey took Hayden's hand off his shirt.

"I don't care! Wait for my revenge*!"

While in the nursery. Max overhears all the conversations.

FLASHBACK END

Max clutched his head tightly.

"Gurgh!"

Max grimaced in pain. His head was very painful plus his chest that was tight eventually he was unsteady and unconscious. He almost fell to the floor if Mario didn't hold him.

"Max! Wake Max! Max!!" mario shouted frantically as he held Max's head unconscious.
