25. Meet

When the sedative effect was gone, Bianca again roared home and continued to call Daniel. He encouraged anyone who was about to approach him even as he tried his hardest to get up from the nurse's bed who was about to help him to get a shout.

Her infusion hose was already forcibly released by Bianca.

Both Bianca's parents, Laura, Alicia and even Thomas and Jacob could not calm Bianca down. He continued to forbid the people in the room from touching him.

The girl did not know them at all.

Her mother was crying over her daughter's behavior earlier.

Bianca flicked her blanket over, she felt both her legs very stiff. When he tried to get off his bed he fell down.

Daniel today is wearing a suit, when he was on his way to the office he got a call from Alicia. The man was shocked when Jacob called him on Alicia's cell phone.

After the phone connection was cut off, Daniel immediately turned his car around and headed for the hospital.

The two bodyguards in front of the lobby quietly unmoved as he walked towards Bianca's room.

When he first entered Bianca's room, he found the girl falling down. The man squatted down to balance their height.

Bianca was so happy to see Daniel in front of her. When he was about to hug the man, he felt a very dizzy, his ears were ringing.

Unable to endure the excruciating pain in her head, Bianca fainted and was immediately grabbed by Daniel.

The girl was unconscious in Daniel's arms, the man saw fresh blood coming out of Bianca's nose.

The whole room panicked and was about to help the unconscious Bianca, but Daniel easily lifted the girl into the patient's bed.

The nurses immediately put on a ventilator and pressed a button to call the doctor.

One of the nurses told everyone in the room to wait outside for a smooth check-up.

When they took turns outside the room, John's doctor entered the patient's room and immediately joined another nurse to check on Bianca.

"My daughter had a pretty severe injury to her brain that she had amnesia and paralysis. And I was so angry when I found out that it was all because it saved the man who made her obsessed. Another fact I can't accept, out of so many people only your name can be remembered by my daughter" Terrence told Daniel.

"I know that even an apology would not be worth what happened now. This is all purely my fault, and I am ready to accept whatever consequences you will give me" Daniel said.

"I want to keep you away from my daughter but I can't because the doctor said that maybe only you can restore Bianca's condition,"

"..." - ".Daniel fell silent and took a stand to be a listener for everything that Bianca's father would say to him.

"I want to beat and destroy you but I know I will only make my daughter suffer for it. All I can do right now is forgive you and accept this calamity with grace,"

"I feel like I failed at being a father because I couldn't protect my own daughter, even I doubt that she could face the future with the confidence she had before, given her current body condition,"

"I'm going to find a way to get Bianca to heal, I'm going to send her to do some overseas medicine,"

Suddenly one of the nurses called Mr. Terrence to see Dr. John.

When Mr. Terrence got out of his seat and immediately turned away leaving Daniel alone suddenly came to a halt.

"I will be responsible for marrying your daughter" Daniel promised.

Mr. Terrence was surprised to hear Daniel's words.

"Emm?" Bianca awoke from her unconsciousness.

Daniel, who had been daydreaming about what he said to Mr. Terrence, was a little surprised when Bianca woke up.

So with a heavy heart both Bianca's parents waited in the lobby while the others say goodbye home. Jacob escorts Laura home while Thomas has a chance to drive Alicia home.

Mr. Terrence entrusted his daughter to Daniel with the threat that if anything worse happened, he would not hesitate to kill Daniel with his own hands.

"Is anyone sick?" ask Daniel.

Bianca smiled and shook her head.

The man restrained Bianca from moving much from her current position.

"I'm thirsty" said Bianca later.

"You lie down, the doctor says not to move too much because your body is still weak,"

Like a chick meeting its mother, Bianca seemed calm and obedient to every word of Daniel.

Daniel took a packet of medicine on the nightstand and took a glass of water on the side of the nightstand. He unwrapped the new straw and helped the girl to drink water and medicine as ordered by the doctor when Bianca woke up from her stupor.

Bianca accepted the medicine and immediately sipped water through a straw that Daniel helped with.

"Why am I here?" bianca asked afterwards with a puzzled look on her face.

"You were in an accident to save me" Daniel replied openly without covering it up.

"really? I can't remember. I think because I fell in the water long enough ago you saved me," Daniel felt so guilty when the girl had no memory of the previous incident at all. And Bianca thought the situation was now because her carelessness had fallen in the water. Though it was a long time ago when he first met Bianca.

"It's okay, slowly you'll remember everything" comforted Daniel.

"Niel?" Daniel is a little surprised when Bianca calls his name in the same way as before, as his mother calls him.

"I have a lot of questions I want to ask," Bianca was looking at the hospital ceiling.

"Tell me,"

"Other than Bianca what's my long name?" Bianca often heard people calling her by the name of Bianca, but she did not know her full name. And that made him curious.

"Your long name, Bianca Maureen Terrence," replied Daniel well memorized the girl's name.

"Who were the people who came earlier? can you tell me their names?"Bianca was perplexed when many people tried to interact with her. But he had no memory of who they were in his life.

"Two people older than the rest are your parents, Mr. Philips and Mrs. Liliana's name, the guy who's about the size of me is your brother, his name is Jacob, while the other guy who wears Naruto's shirt is your friend Thomas, the woman with long hair and long skirt, her name is Alicia, she's my friend, and the woman with shoulder-length hair is Laura, your best friend" Daniel explained at length.

If in normal situations, Daniel's soft speech and answering questions at length is a rare condition even rare, especially if the interlocutor Bianca. It was impossible for Daniel to answer.

But now the man feels indebted and guilty for what happened to Bianca because of him, for that he tried to do the best he could for the girl.

"Are you feeling sick again?" ask Daniel to worry. Because Bianca seemed to be silently looking at the ceiling of the room.

"If I'm like this I have no regrets at all" Bianca paused her words.

Daniel listened to the girl's words carefully.

"If the person I saved is you it becomes comparable" Bianca later added.

That day Daniel felt his heart touched by the girl's words.

If Bianca regains her past memories and recalls how Daniel treated the girl.

Will Bianca say something similar?

In the end Daniel only said two words that had never been said before.

"I'm sorry, thank you for saving me, Bianca,"

Bianca smiled and nodded weakly. The drug is reacting again.
