22. Laura's Surprise

Laura chose to busy herself by eating pancakes in front of her to ward off her grooves.

One slice of honey sauce cream pancakes went into his mouth. A few seconds later, the spoon fell onto the table when Laura heard Daniel's words.

His eyes were perfectly rounded and he tried to convince himself that this man before him was not delirious.
