13. Hand Grips

"Uncle..." An Alicia shouted at Uncle Ben and Bianca stood up. Bianca turned to them in surprise.

Bianca finds Alicia with Daniel and the children in front of them standing across the path in the middle of the plantation forming a line like a human train.

Maurin, a three-year-old toddler, was in Alicia's arms.

"Be careful.." replied Uncle Ben waving a hand that was immediately responded with a compact nod by the children and Alicia, while Daniel was still tailing behind Alicia.

In an instant Alicia, Daniel and a group of children had walked into a forest area that was covered with trees.

"Where are they?" Bianca asked who could not hide her curiosity.

"Oh, last night Alicia got permission to take the kids, they want to go to the river in the forest." Reply to Uncle Ben while picking tea leaves and putting them in the cauldron.

"No, Uncle Ben told me to come along anyway. I don't want to go."

Throughout her steps, Bianca stared at her palm that had just been held by the man of her heart. The girl grew even more misbehaved as she recalled how big the palm of the man was in her hand. If he had to go down the high ground even the steep mountains and valleys he would not mind as long as Daniel helped him as before.

From a distance, Timmy and the other children looked in dislike towards Bianca who was smiling happily observing her palm.
