169 Days With Mr. CEO

169 Days With Mr. CEO
23. Disarray

This morning was not as usual Daniel Alvarez Tyee was late. Stella found her boss walking to her desk with a grim face. The 27-year-old passed Stella regardless of her secretary's greeting.

Stella and the employees there are aware of their boss's change after the accident that left Bianca severely injured.

"Ee..the development report that you asked me to put on the table," Stella ventured again after her greeting was ignored.

Daniel pulled up his chair and nodded his head in return for his secretary's words.

The man took the pen from his pocket and began to check the pile of documents on the table.

Realizing something, the man turned to look at his secretary who was standing not far from the guest sofa and did not leave his room.

As if knowing his mistake without the man saying it Stella reopened her voice to ask.

"Coffee, the coffee is cold, do I need to make another new one?" Stella asked after managing to master her awkwardness.

"no need. Thanks." Feeling that the task was done, Stella immediately left the workroom of her boss who looked chaotic that day.

Not yet had he reached the door, Stella found a middle-aged man entering her superior's workroom.

Stella knew that after this, big problems would re-emerge in her office.

"There's no need" Daniel's question hasn't been finalized.

"Did I raise you to be a murderer?" The man in front of him looked angry.

Right now, Davis Tyee, his father is coming with his assistant. He just returned from a European business trip. His eyes seemed to be emitting anger.

Daniel smiled sinisterly, his hands clenched on the table.

"Why? you shy?" challenge Daniel, smile disparagingly.

"Clean this mess with Terrence's family after all he was an influential investor. Otherwise, you'll regret it" Davis said with emphasis. The man immediately turned around.

"Don't set me up!" daniel did not like it.

"If you don't want to, let Dean take over. He's better than you," snapped Davis no joke. The man immediately left because he was reluctant to be provoked by the stubborn habits of his son.

Daniel was angrier when he heard his father again praising his half-sister more than he was.

The man could not control his emotions, his past wounds and hatred melted into one. With a single sweep of his anger, all the objects on his desk were already scattered on the floor.

There was nothing terrible about Stella, except this morning she saw her boss's office was like a broken ship. There were a lot of items that fell lying down even some of them were badly damaged.

Stella closed the door to her boss' room slowly. After Mr. Davis' arrival, he knew his boss's mood wasn't good today.

He did not want to be a source of his boss's tantrums. So he dropped his intention to convey information that Alicia was calling from the office channel because Daniel's phone was off.

Stella decides to tell Daniel through the intercom channel rather than face the wrath of her boss in person.

Daniel sat down on the side of the table. His tie was already loose his shirt was already tangled on several sides.

One of his hands was spitting out fresh blood when he intentionally damaged the frame of the family photo using his own hands.

He grabbed the cable phone when it sounded loud enough.

Before Stella could finish her sentence, Daniel had already hung up the phone unilaterally. He then threw the phone to the side of the room.

He regretted why the foolish girl saved him and did not let him die back then, so things were easier for him.

And that bitter flash of the past came back, like a broken film roll.

In that soundproof room, Daniel let out a desperate scream.
