11. Banquets

At exactly seven in the evening, almost all family members in the house were already sitting in the dining room cheerfully. The table in the middle of the room was quite long considering the number of family members in the house was quite a lot.

It seems like this is becoming a habit in this house. Bianca watched from the kitchen some children descend the stairs in a hurry and others voluntarily abandon their play activities as if impatiently replenishing their energy throughout the day.

Uncle Ben has been home for the past two hours but he's still out on the porch with Daniel. Every day, Uncle Ben works as a farmer in a tea garden.

Just like Aunt Ye, Uncle Ben was quite surprised as well as happy with the arrival of Bianca. During his visit Daniel never brought anyone other than Alicia.

The cheerful Bianca can easily get acquainted with aunt Ye and uncle Ben. Aunt Ye had also introduced one by one the children in this house when the event ate cake this afternoon. There were nine children in the house, ranging in age from three to twelve.

Bianca remembered and memorized one by one their names. Timmy is the oldest of the kids, three days ago he was twelve. Rachel is one year younger than Timmy with long braided hair. Bob is a chubby-cheeked boy who always holds his great hour wherever he goes is eight years old. Tiger is the same age as Bob but the boy always looks neat with a shirt that is always inserted into his pants and his hair is drizzled always in a neat comb to the right. Sasy was seven years old and always liked the hobby of knitting, Bianca was interested in the yellow scarf that Ye's aunt wore this afternoon, Aunt Ye said that the scarf was a birthday present Aunt Ye of Sasy made herself. Justin seems a little quieter than others but the boy is an animal lover, Justin has a cat he names Miko and a canary named Pia, his age is the same as Sasy only a few months adrift. Next there are the twins

Jio and Dio who never get along with each other they are five years old. And the last sweet three-year-old toddler was named Maurin, a name that was almost similar to his.

Bianca gets a little brief information from Alicia that almost all of them are orphans, broken home families, and children who never wanted to be born. Uncle Ben and Aunt Ye help take care of them and become the next parents for them.

But Bianca's friendliness and jovial nature don't fully get the attention of children.

As now, when Bianca and Alicia helped Aunt Ye arrange dinner, Bianca walked over carrying the milk pudding and placed it on the table. Both beads of his eyes unintentionally looked at Timmy and smiled at him. But Timmy, the little boy looked away.

So too when Bianca looked at the other children.

Bianca grimaced at the fact that the children did not like her presence.

Uncle Ben and Daniel just came to join us. Seeing the attitude of the children who were less fond of Bianca's presence, the middle-aged man cleared his throat.

"Uncle.." exclaimed the compact children together. All the children instantly slammed into his arms. Uncle Ben greeted them with a smile even though he staggered back because the children were enthusiastic to hug him.

Maurin who had difficulty getting down from his chair only stretched out his hands to get the attention of Uncle Ben.

"Oh, dear Maurin.." Uncle Ben was about to hold the little girl but Maurin shook his head first.

With a pacifier in his mouth Maurin still stretched out his hand.

Daniel smiled and took Maurin and sat down on the side chair.

Bianca was about to move to sit in the empty chair next to Daniel, but Timmy, who knew the woman's spirit, grabbed Alice's hand, who had just placed a fruit bowl, to sit beside Daniel.

Timmy gave a mocking look as Alicia managed to sit next to Daniel and come play with Maurin.

Bianca was disappointed, the girl was sitting limp in her chair and ignoring Timmy's mocking look at her.

Again Bianca saw another attitude of Daniel when with Alicia. Maurin who was in the lap of Daniel and Alicia who were sitting next to him was already like a married couple to him.

Uncle Ben who observed Bianca's grim face from her chair quite understood that Bianca put her heart on Daniel.

"Daniel, let Maurin sit on his stool or on my lap so you don't have any trouble moving." Bargain Uncle Ben.

"No uncle, I'm pretty comfortable." Daniel is relaxed.

Maurin who was sitting on Daniel's lap stomped his hand to the table and shook his head.

The toddler was happy and comfortable in Daniel's lap.

Aunt Ye did not for long come from the direction of the kitchen and sat on an empty chair not far from her husband's place.

All family members are fully equipped and dishes are available. Rachel stood up from her chair and began the prayer. Everyone closed their eyes and guaranteed Rachel's prayers solemnly.

But in his prayer Bianca was riled up, with her eyes still slightly open she could see Alicia's hand clasping one of Maurin's hands on the table and Daniel's hand on their hands.
