Chapter 64: Sorry

A few months passed so quickly. However, there was a strange feeling lodged within William. Even though the lover is beside him, but the heart seems to be carried away without being asked. I don't know where the wind took him.

However, Liam still tried to stick with the relationship. Is it true that his love is so shallow and only limited to curiosity. Is it really all just temporary? I don't know, Liam himself doesn't know the answer because the taste is very different. Where there is no more bliss when he is with Je.

Even Je's nature has changed since the accident. His words were too soft, whereas Liam was used to the spicy sentences coming out of the girl's mouth. 

"Is something bothering you, brother?" ask Jenni who was eating her food at the time.

"No, it's nothing" Liam replied heavily and looked at Je as if he was dealing with someone else. 

After the accident Je did call Liam's brother. Besides the girl had a broken leg, but she also had to lose all memory in her brain. In other words, Je had amnesia even today. However, William was never far from his side and faithfully accompanied the girl every day. Even though it feels so empty. 

"Sister."

"Hmm?" Liam looked up at the girl who was stirring the ice cream in front of him until it melted. 

"Are we really lovers? Why don't I remember how we were made?" jenni asked in embarrassment. Actually that's also what stuck in his heart for months. Although she received William's good treatment, but there was something wrong with her heart. 

Two people who were a couple, but both felt the void, finally sat face to face in silence. Liam seemed confused and unable to answer, while Jenni seemed reluctant, but that was something that stuck in his heart for too long. Until finally he was no longer able to harbor his curiosity. 

"Why are you asking that? Did something happen?" 

Jenni could only shake her head. He felt reluctant to say his empty feelings to Liam because the man had been so kind ever since he opened his eyes. However, why was it as if there was no love between them. Is all this just a one-sided love from William? Why does that man not look happy? 

"Tell me what's in your heart? I won't mind" Liam said softly. 

"Actually ... emth, I was confused how to explain, Brother," Je said hesitantly.

"Tell me what's on your mind and heart right now! I'm fine." Liam himself was quite curious about what Jenni felt. Although the girl had amnesia, the doctor said it was unlikely to change her personality. However, the girl in front of him seemed to change drastically, but the doctor only responded if it might be an effect due to feeling inferior about her current condition.

"Actually, lately I've been dreaming of a girl a lot" Je replied lethargicly.

"Girl? Meanin?" The frown on Liam's forehead is multi-layered. Curiosity as well as pounding back fused in him. I don't know, he can only hope that what he's thinking isn't real.

"The girl was very brave. He's a great guy who's changed me for the better. In my dreams, she was a role model. But, all of a sudden he left me with the excuse of wanting to gamble. Funny, right? Where is there a girl who likes to gamble?" Jenni gave a small laugh recalling her dreams of late.

"A–didn't you like to gamble?" michael asked, pounding.

Jenni shook her head. "But, Brother. He is very charming when gambling. But where have I seen him, huh? The feeling I don't have a girlfriend like that?"

"How do you feel about me?" liam asked frankly at last.

Jenni raised her head, the two's gaze locked onto each other for a while. Maybe it's time for Jenni to be honest. "Sorry."
