Chapter 29: Did He Die?

Before the accident, Su Man To contacted Richard first. He just delivered a message to keep Jenni suddenly the accident happened.

 It was also what made Richard rushed to find the location of Su Man To and it was true that the middle-aged man was involved in a great accident, and ended up entering the abyss. Fortunately his life was still left so that immediately after being rescued immediately rushed to the hospital.

Meanwhile, Je who was getting word rushed over moved. Upon arriving at the hospital, he immediately ran towards the place where Su Man To was dealt with. It seems Richard was already there because it was before the accident that the man was contacting him. 

"Where's Dad?" je asked with a look of worry clearly printed on his face. Although not a real father for him, but Jenni's feelings are clearly felt in the woman.

"He's in surgery" Richard said. 

For a moment Je just stared at the room in front of him, while Jenni somehow went where after hearing his father was injured. It might have slipped into the operating room while crying sobbing beside the man. Or even follow, opening the door so that Su Man To faster into the afterlife. 

Je sat on the available chair while rubbing his face rough. It's annoying to worry about someone's condition, but before he never felt it because his family there never worried him.

For a moment she covered her face with her palms while looking down, while Richard sat beside her while rubbing the girl's back to feel calm. "Calm down! Everything's gonna be okay."

Not a word came out of the girl's mouth. After a while, he realized something strange here. "Wait, how did you know my father had an accident?" je asked with a sharp look towards Richard.

"Em, that." Richard hesitated to answer, but Je's frightening gaze made him unable to resist lying any further. 

Richard took a long breath. "I actually became a doctor in school health because of your father."

"Dad?" Je scrunched his forehead and was confused by what Richard meant. 

"Your father sent me there to look after you from a distance without anyone else's suspicion" Richard explained. 

"Why did he do that. But he really loves you" Richard said, patting Je on the shoulder slowly. 

"How do you know him?"

"Are you still amnesiac?" Jessi just scrunched her forehead and managed to make Richard anxious to nudge his forehead bangs Je. "Did you even forget we were neighbors?" 

Without answering Richard's question, Je with a powerful punch swung his hand at Richard's head until he hit the wall. "Why are you touching my forehead, huh? How about I get a concussion?" je shouted in annoyance at the thought of the older brother who always treated him like that. 

Meanwhile, Richard could only plop his lips at Je's ravings while holding his already-ill-beaten head still hitting the wall anyway. "I shouldn't be the one who's angry, not you" he murmured softly, but Je still heard clearly. 

"Did you say that?" 

"No!" 

The sound of the door opening from the operating room managed to stop the fight of the two instantly. Je and Richard immediately approached the doctor and railed on questions. 

"How's my dad doing, Doc? Is he dead?" tanya Je was complete with her stupidity. 

"About talking! I'm a new kid knowing how you feel, Je." Cut Richard quickly and ask the doctor nicely.
