Chapter 44: Getting Back

Mar Jan and Mon Nyong left the hospital with irritated faces. Both are moving back to another place. In the car Mar Jan has been chattering incessantly ever since. 

"Fucking girl! How dare he threaten me!" swear Mar while loosening the tie on the neck. "I guess she's still a snot girl who can only cry and look down when she sees people! In fact Su Man To hid the stray cat that had to be exterminated as soon as possible!" 

"Don't Su Man To always hate his own daughter, Sir. He never even educated her, so how could Jenni turn out to be brave" Mon asked as he drove the car. 

"From the beginning he didn't hate it" Mar Jan said furiously as he clenched his hands staring out the windshield with a sharp look. "She's just tricking us into not teasing her biological child."

A demonic grin was painted on the man's face. Without them realizing what the two were talking about was heard directly by Jenni's soul sitting next to Mar Jan. The girl, looking turned dark, she even let out a thick black smoke that transformed her like a vengeful ghost. 

The fact turns out that the father stayed away even so hated him just because they made Jenni dark-eyed. Just by controlling Jenni's mind, Mon Nyong suddenly lost control of the car. 

"Are you crazy, huh?" shouted Mar Jan as the car drifted to and fro. 

"Master, the brakes are blong." Mon tried to control the steering as well as the brakes on the legs, unfortunately the gas pedal continued to press down even without him stepping until the two men looked so panicked in it. 

The car is moving fast and unbalanced. Mar Jan can only let himself hit to the right and left. However, Mon could not control the speed of his vehicle at all. Even the gears beside him moved on their own and made him instantly widen his eyes. 

However, a moment later a white smoke brought out Jenni's blackened soul. Eventually the car stopped because it hit a tree and caused both men to be injured, but not to death. 

"Can you see me?" jenni asked as if she couldn't believe that anyone else could see her but Jessica. "Are you just a soul? Are you a demon?" 

"You are the devil! Why try to kill them? Don't you want to go back to your body and become a ghost forever?" 

"You know that? Really know everything?" Repeatedly Jenni held both of the men's shoulders because she still could not believe what had just happened. 

"Obviously I know because I've been watching you all along. Remember that! Your only job right now is to help that girl get justice for you and your father. Not to act foolishly by killing a human being when you're just a spirit. Learn what Jessi has done so far so well, and if the time comes you will return to your respective bodies. But if you act stupid again, don't expect to come back! You'll even be a ghost forever." After reminding all that to Jenni, the man immediately disappeared like dust flying in the wind. 

Jenni re-digested the words of the unknown man. "I can still be human" Jenni said happily. 

"Damn it!" the scream of Mar Jan who stepped out of the car with a stagger and a wound on the forehead disperse the daydream of Jenni from the man. 

"I have to help Jessi keep an eye on you," he muttered as he stepped closer to the man.
