Chapter 57: Do You Know Him?

Liam arrives at the scene and sees two men approaching Je by exiting the vehicle and firing a gunshot lodged in the head of one of the men. "How dare you bother my woman!"

One man fell and died lying helpless, while another woman rushed to run and immediately got into her car. Liam immediately shot one of the other men and tried to chase the woman who ran away with a hot lead. Unfortunately, the bullet can only hit the body part of the enemy vehicle and not hurt the driver.

"Pursue him!" Liam's orders to some of the men who followed him. 

"Okay, King."

Je who immediately fell down made Liam undo the intention to follow the chase and choose to approach the girl, letting his men who took over. "Baby, are you okay?" 

"How long!" je shouted with a gasping breath. He almost hanged because he felt his life was on the threshold. 

"I'm sorry." Liam immediately grabbed Je's limp-dropped body almost fainted and was covered in wounds. "Now it is safe. Le's go! I'll take you to the hospital." He put her in the car and prepared to return. 

Meanwhile, Je feels grateful because God still protects him at this time by bringing Liam. He looked at her for a moment. "Don't take me to the hospital, Uncle! The reporters will definitely hunt me down later and he can still find me. Can you just hide me?" 

"But you're hurt bad, Baby?" Liam who saw Je's sad gaze then sighed heavily. "All right, I'll hide you. Let the doctor come to the house."

Je just nodded obediently. The girl then threw her face in the other direction as she felt very weak at the moment and she just wanted to rest for a moment. "Let's see how I reply to you later!" inner Je closed her eyes while clenching both of her hands, before letting her consciousness disappear from feeling safe. 

Upon arrival at home, Liam immediately asked the doctor who had been contacted earlier to immediately treat Je, while himself sat in the living room because his men had returned. 

"You failed to get it!" snarled Liam furiously. He even kicked Kare's leg so strongly that the man grimaced a little. 

"Sorry, King."

"Investigate whose men they are and this time do not fail!" Liam turned around massaging his temple. A moment later, however, he recalled the woman's face. "Where have I seen him?" muttered Liam alone. 

When the men had stepped in to reach the doorway, Liam remembered and immediately called out to him. "Care."

"Yes, King."

"Find out the woman from the CCTV bar at the time when we saw the old bandot!" 

"You mean, King?" 

"He used to pretend to fall on my lap. Find out what that woman is doing there! He's definitely not alone and it's no coincidence." 

"Okay, King." 

Kare turned back to leave, while Liam immediately went upstairs to see Je's condition. "How's the condition?" ask the doctor. 

"He was hurt pretty badly. Don't let him move a lot! Fortunately it was only an external wound and there were no serious problems." The doctor then scratches a pen on a paper, writes a prescription to help Je recover. "This recipe. Maybe tonight he'll have a fever, which is natural. But if it's too high you can take it to the hospital." 

Liam just nodded taking the piece of paper that was stretched out to him. "Thank you."

"I go first" said the doctor, saying goodbye as he patted Liam on the shoulder, because they were both quite familiar all along. 

Liam painstakingly enveloped the sleeping Je. Then he walked away and asked the waiter to redeem the medicine. After that, the man returned to the room and opened the flash that Je had given him earlier. 

At first, Liam just thought Je was joking. Therefore, he did not open the object at all, in the hope that Je will explain everything. However, seeing her lover struggling alone, Liam would no longer remain silent and choose to interfere in it. 

The flash drive contains evidence of a terrible crime committed by Su Man To's men. Complete with photos of evidence in a warehouse that certainly will not be found by the investigators at this time. Liam read carefully as he rubbed his delicate chin without the slightest feathers. 

"Yes." Yeah." The baritone voice of a man sounded so tired across the phone. 

"Come to my place tomorrow! I need your help. Emergency!" liam's orders without further ado.

"Hey! I'm still abroad!" 

"I paid triple this time." 

"Deal." As if getting a durian falling down the man immediately agreed to it just like that. 

Liam turned off the phone and heard a delirium by the girl lying on the bed. 

"Daddy." Je's call sounded so shrewd. He looked cold sweaty and looked to his right and left. His eyes were clearly closed. 

Liam painstakingly compresses and gently rubs the girl's sweat. "I'm sorry for coming late, Baby," murmured Liam regretting what happened earlier.

In the morning Liam fed Je who had been sober with a bowl of warm porridge. The man served Je affectionately and very gently. A moment later, a waiter stopped his activity for a moment.

"Master," said the waiter after being allowed in.

"What's wrong?" asked Liam to put the bowl in his hand on the table.

"Under there is a Mr. Lawyer coming."

"Send him here!"

"Good, Sir." The waiter leaves, while Liam again grabs the bowl and blows the hot porridge for Je.

"Who's coming?" ask Je curious.

"A trusted lawyer. We can't let your father's lawyer take the case if he wants to win. Later you can apply for a change of lawyer in the next trial. At least the man was more trustworthy than them," Liam replied explaining his point.

Je could only nod obediently, and again received a mouthful of porridge from Liam. A second later, the door to his room opened again and a young man entered in a suit that made him even more authoritative.

"Sir Rey!" So excited, Je unconsciously greeted the man first and immediately got a sharp gaze from Liam beside him.

"You know him?"
