Chapter 5.5: First Master

Taps. Taps. Taps.

Footsteps galloping along the hallway.

They then entered a large room that looked like a wooden training ground.

Yama lays Raka's body on the bed, Ivy quickly calls some people who help her to treat Raka.

While Yama waits and looks after Ivy and Raka who are being treated, the rest decide to get out of the room to avoid disturbing her.

Ivy tore off the white shirt that Raka was wearing. He washed the small body.

Yama stared scorchingly as the small body was flipped over, revealing a state of whip wound that tore apart the skin of his thin back. Unknowingly, he clenched his hands tightly. Ivy continued to wash the wounds on the small body continuously with water mixed with medicine.

His white hands were skilled and deft in processing wounds. One by one, the injuries and problems experienced by Raka he handled. Slowly the land, the child's breath strengthened, his vitality developed increasingly solid.

Ivy's hands quickly and meticulously examined the small body full of the wound. But, at one point, his hand came to a halt on a small wound with a red rash of muscles and surrounding vessels that appeared slightly protruding.

His eyes widened, while his pupils shrank as his skillful hands rubbed gently the wound lodged in the left arm of the child. The protruding veins crept towards his neck. There, a wound with a wider and red rash returned making him bite his lips sliced.

After a long while, he sighed, there was nothing he could do when his wound did not even react.

He got up and walked over to Yama who was waiting anxiously.

"Hows it? Is she okay?" Ask Yama right away.

Ivy hesitated. "Overall, he's lucky to be here at the moment. If it's a little late, even if it's me, I don't know if I can or can't develop his vitality back. Sure enough, the wound on his back would heal, only it might leave a mark. Except for one thing, the other I can handle."

"What do you mean?" Ask Yama.

"You saw the wounds on his left arm and neck. It was not a wound that could be handled easily. If it is not wrong, the wound appears as the effect of poison injections or drugs gradually increasing the dose. The result is as you can see in his upper left arm, the wound is not too extensive, but so deep. While the one in the neck, it appears after the dose increase directly and raised in an amount that is not kidding"

"What do you mean by poison or medicine!?"

"You should know that, a common landing, a weak poison can be a medicine, and too much medicine, can be a poison. Likely, that was also the reason they tortured him. The goal is that when there is a possibility he does not survive, they can make up stories about treatment to accidentally poison. I guess so. And supposedly, the drug was used in the period of two years or even more. Again he was lucky, if it was someone else, could imagine the resulting effect."

Yama clenched her teeth after hearing what Ivy described. "If so, what to do so that he can recover from it"

Yama sighed, "If so, would the effect be dangerous if it was aroused?"

"Yes, it would threaten his life. As you saw before. The wound on his back, when the poison was aroused, could have caused repeated aches and pains in the wounds on his back. But, as his teacher-to-be, if you want to help him, just teach him how to use mana."

"What do you mean?"

"If it's not wrong, it should be mana poison. Toxins produced from liquids contain mana which is polluted with various eternal elements. It was dangerous if it was not suppressed with pure mana that did not mix. As long as the user can produce his own mana, then the poison can be suppressed." Obviously Ivy.

"I understand" said Yama rising from his seat and approaching the weakly lying Raka.

"Oh yeah, do you really not want to meet your beloved disciple? What's wrong with asking her opinion about your little student?"

"He has no right to interfere with my decision, Ivy" Yama said coldly.

"Suppit. But obviously, let go if you want to take it off. Embrace if you want to embrace it"

"certain"

"If so, I'll go, my students are waiting for me" said Ivy coldly.

"Please, oh yes, and, thank you" Yama smiled.

Ivy quickly turned her slightly blushed face away."Wh-whatever" he said as he stepped quickly.

"You've never been able to hide it huh, Ivy" muttered Yama looking at Ivy's slender back that moved away quickly.

...□ □ □...

Early in the morning, Yama stayed while waiting for the revival of his little disciple.

He got up and opened the window of the room, looking at the clear sky that was so cool the effect of last night's rain. Birds are sweet-talking and full of energy. In this place, the place of the ancestors who kept the peace.

He then turned around and looked at Raka who was still lying unconscious.

'And again, you're really lucky to have him who even asked me to help you. Otherwise, maybe we'll just meet as opponents, son's'

He muttered inwardly as he looked warmly at the little man before him. While Raka, still dissolved in her long dream.
