The End of the World - Story I

The End of the World - Story I
Battle: End Section

...~ ◊ ~...

Around the royal capital's defensive walls. A joint force between Prince I and the Hayawan Nation Soldiers was on standby to create a siege barricade.

The siege formation was divided in 4 sections to block all four sides of the gate. Basita the Murwa Kunkara and his troops guard the east gate, Bramanta the Lelana at the south gate, Bubalis the Buffalo at the west gate, and Danendra the Murwa Kunkara at the north gate.

The siege has been carried out for several months. The situation behind the gate began to riot. Logistics and food supplies within the capital are running out. With the encirclement outside the gates, it was impossible for them to meet the needs that came mostly from the trade from the outer regions.

The longer the siege, will make more stomach starving. They are like rats in an empty rice barn without food. It forced them to inevitably have to attack out and defeat the troops that were facing right in front of the gate along with the traps they had prepared.

That day, just before the invasion of the King's forces from within, the main Division received word from the search Battalion that they had found the missing Division.

There is good news as well as bad news from the reports they get. The bad news: after it was found, Devision II and Devision VII turned out to be only 4 people left from the results of the battle in the western desert. And the good news: the four survivors had been evacuated by Emperor Akbar's Silver Fleet and now the fleet's troops would help them to attack the palace.

Hearing the bad news, both the troops of Prince I and the Hayawan Warrior felt so sad and lost. 5000 personnel Canis and Panthera sent to the west, now only 3 survivors left. And of the 13,000 armies of the Human Nation, now only 1 man remains.

What a terrible battle. So many lives are lost like the apocalypse. Not even the entire enemy army survived.

But with the news of the coming of the Silver Fleet, it would be of great help to those who wished to continue their struggle, so the sacrifice of their fallen comrades would not be in vain.

Prince I and the others were astonished to hear the news from the Wolf telepathy in the southern sea with Arctos, Lupus, and others. If it is true that Emperor Akbar has returned and will now help them with his Armada, then it is certain that his prophecy has been fully fulfilled.

But how did that happen? According to Udhata's story, isn't there still a line of prophecy that remains unfulfilled? That is the fourth line: “Sang Unifying Lost His Head". And until now the Unifier, the King of Angkara is still alive in his palace.

Whether it was really the Emperor's Armada or just someone else using his name, at least it could be a meaningful help to those who had lost a lot of troops. Because with the news of assistance on behalf of Emperor Akbar and his Armada, managed to revive the spirit of the troops.

Soon enough, the starving King Angkara's army began to come out to prepare for battle. Archers lined up neatly along the high walls that stretched. The gate opened across, revealing a large line of troops ready for battle.

Go first to the big elephants to destroy the traps that have been prepared. But the elephant army died instantly after being hit by a spear from a prepared thrower.

The first branch of the enemy can be overcome, and the gate is closed again. But the archers were still waiting on the high stone walls.

A few days later, enemy attacks from within continued to arrive. The longer the more difficult the troops on each side of the section. Throwers from the enemy began to be launched, to destroy the traps that had been prepared. Now the siege strategy is slowly beginning to be broken down.

But the side that is still the strongest defending is the southern troops under the leadership of Bramanta the Lelana. In addition to the largest number of troops, the infantry plus Hayawan forces from Devision III still survive and dispel all enemy attacks.

But it was in line with what the Prince had planned. He wanted to concentrate the power at the south gate. While the troops in other parts only to outwit and divide the opposing forces, also to buy time until the assistance from the Silver Fleet came from the south.

Battle after battle continued on the various sides of the gate. As the eastern, western, and northern forces began to push on, word arrived that the Silver Fleet's forces had landed in the southern port and were rushing towards the capital not far from there.

Exactly as planned. The three desperate troops now began to leave their positions to head to the south gate and join the Bramanta army, which later troops from the Silver Fleet would also join them there.

While waiting for the arrival of the Silver Fleet troops and troops from other gates, the troops led by Bramanta tried to break the gate in front of them. Without the need to linger, the giant gate was now successfully broken into. With so open the road leading to the center of the capital.

Right after that the troops coming from the other gate began to arrive and joined them. Starting from the forces of Bubalis from the west, followed by the forces of Basita from the east, then the forces of Danendra that rotate from the north.

And finally, the Silver Fleet's troops came after them from behind. They came riding on white horses that were speeding by. With their silver robes fluttering with each other, the army came like a dazzling flash of bright light.

Fighting again broke out along the city streets. Destroying everything that goes through it. They finally arrived at the palace gate.

The prince now walked on his horse, approaching the wide iron gate that was before him. He raised his sword high into the air and followed by the roaring of his horse, which raised both of his front legs. The Prince then shouted in a loud voice

...“Rise up the soldiers who long for freedom! Lift up your swords in your hands!...

...The destiny of the world, you are the one who determines it!...

...Here, on this great continent, I, the son of the motherland, vow to destroy the shackles of blasphemy in the air of the world!...

...........

...For the freedom of the whole country on this great land, SERAAAANG...!!!”...

The army led by the Prince continued to spread throughout the palace with the twang of the sword. Kill the enemy who is trying to fight. Cheers, shouts and screams echoed throughout the corners of the building.

Blood soaked the marble floor of the palace. Bodies are everywhere. Died scratched, bitten, decapitated, cut, even pierced by the Hayawan Warrior and fellow Human Nations.

The Prince and his army commanders have now reached the throne room of the King. A magnificent space with jeweled ceilings on each side. The old king was sitting weakly in his seat.

“My son, Adinata. You have come apparently,” said the King who saw his first son come to visit him with a large army that brandished weapons.

“Have all this nonsense, Ayahanda! Look at these Silver Troops, Emperor Akbar has returned. The prophecy was fully fulfilled. No need for you to sacrifice yourself.”

Instantly the throne room was shrouded in sparkling white dew, filling the side of space and giving off a dazzling light.

Buk..

There was the sound of solid objects falling behind the dense fog that blocked the eyes. The Prince, who had been facing loudly in front of the King, suddenly fell to his knees by dropping the head that was supposed to be attached to his body.

“A-Adi-Adinata!” call the King to the son in front of him who no longer has a head.

“My son, Adinata! W-What happened to him?!”

The King also moved from his chair and came to the body of his son who was no longer alive. He also clutched the soulless body, letting fresh blood splash on the robe he was wearing. Then he shouted loudly with a trembling voice

“An invisible creature! This isn't like our deal! I should have been the one who cut off his head! But why was even my son the victim?!”

Together came a strong wind that wiped away the white fog. And there was a glowing white figure floating in the air with the wings of a bat. His body was dry like a meatless tub and the tip of his face contained a large, pointed beak.

After the disappearance of the fog and the appearance of him, the creature also let out a loud whispering voice. All the people in the room immediately closed their ears, unable to resist such a terrible sound.

“Assemble you, Santika! Using the power I gave you to unlock my true form!”

The white creature said that while directing his gaze to a woman who had cast magic that breathed out white mist from the strange creature.

“You have lied! We've sacrificed a lot to obey everything you've said. But you deny it yourself. It is the prince who is our only hope. But you killed him!” said the woman while gathering huge magic energy in both hands and then launched it at the creature.

“Basic child of the ungodly!” reply to the creature that easily threw magic from the woman.

The creature flew towards him and grabbed the woman's body with both her thin hands. The big half was open, as if to eat the person he was holding.

It appeared that magic energy was coming out of the woman's body, drawn into the beak of the creature before her. The creature tried to take back the power it had given to half-Jin, Santika.

But suddenly came a glint of silver light that dazzled the eyes. Afterwards it appeared that the beaked creature had fallen on the palace floor, then said with the same screeches as before

“Akhbarrrrr......!!!!”

The whole palace shook because of it. When the flash of silver light began to dim, there appeared a young man standing before him.

The young man wore a shimmering silver-bladed armor, shouldered a long wooden stick, and carried seven swords.

He stood before the terrible creature while holding his staff forward.

“Niscale. Have you forgotten that the Prince has said that I have returned and his prophecy has been fulfilled?” ask the young man.

“Hurft... I already know that. But I didn't think you could reassemble all four heirlooms so quickly,” replied the creature with a terrible grunt.

“Yeah, enough of all the commotion you've made.”

After saying that the stick in the young man's hand began to extend and widen with the appearance of open roots and tendrils, then ensnare the terrible creature.

Then with the bright light, the creature vanished into flying silver grains.
