The Arkana: The Demon Hunters

The Arkana: The Demon Hunters
The Burning Battle

"Remain me from the darkness, Bengisuro." A thin light enveloped Manta's body.

Yasa looked at Darmanta and cast a protection spell for him. Of course he did the same to Wibowo and Mahari who were behind. If not for the protection from the boy's spell, the heat from the pressure that Buto Geni exerted would have already roasted all of them.

The distance between Buto Geni and the three Arkanas is near. Manta runs to the left and Bowo to the right. They were like water and fire, but their movements were in harmony because of the many battles they had fought together. Without communication, their chemistry is on a different level.

"You sambara." Manta directly slashed the left leg of Buto Geni with the white-lit Bengisura.

On the right side, the already fiery Bowo shot out his punch while venting all of his stifled anger.

"Dahana's date!" exciting Bowo. The Atma that was in his fist exploded into a blue flame that******** red fire belonging to Buto Geni.

Thanks to the two attacks, Buto Geni lost his balance and went back to his knees. One calf was broken and the other was destroyed. Now in front of him, Yasa was already preparing with his index finger and middle finger sticking towards him.

"Lara Kerta Yama ..," said the boy. A huge black wave, shrunk at his fingertips and shot rapidly towards Buto Geni.

Buto Geni. Everything around him looked extremely slow at this moment. When he realized what was going on, there was a huge hole in the creature's body. Black blood pouring down inundated the asphalt of the road.

The light in Yasa's eyes was extinguished. The boy collapsed unconscious after chanting one of his life-depriving spells. Although the ba'it only consists of three words, but the spell requires a lot of energy when recited by the speaker.

However, before the boy fell down intact, Mahari managed to grab and sustain him. He rubbed Yasa's head with one of his other hands.

"Good work," said Mahari while pinning a proud smile.

"MAS DAY!" shout Bowo.

Mahari chuckled at the bald man's facial expression. In the slow show, Bowo was shouting something, but strangely Mahari could not hear anything. On the other hand, Darmanta's face was no less panicked than Bowo. The handsome man is seen running in slow impressions towards Mahari and Yasa.

Suddenly the blinding reddish light bias made Mahari's eyes squeak and change the direction of the face on Buto Geni. His eyes immediately opened at that moment.

The demon was making a giant fireball with its mouth, even though half of its body had already turned into a puff of black smoke. Before he died, at least he wanted to take some of the Arkana with him.

Mahari raised one hand upwards with a flat expression. However, he had not yet done anything. The Bengisura Sword darted and plunged into the belly of Buto Geni.

Bowo ran fast and did one, two steps on the thigh of Buto Geni. He jumped and grabbed the handle of Manta's sword, then rested on the giant's stomach and performed an uppercut blow on his opponent's jaw to make Buto Geni's head look up.

When Bowo fell due to the effects of gravity, suddenly one leg Manta made his shoulder as a pedestal to jump. Darmanta pulled out his sword shortly before he made Bowo his foothold. He deftly slapped the neck of Buto Geni sideways so that the creature's head was cut off from its body.

The large fireballs created by the creature became a puff of black smoke before it was released. Bowo and Manta save Mahari and Yasa from death.

Not like Bowo who is physically strong. When Darmanta landed, his legs were misplaced, causing him to sprain. He was about to stand up, but trouble. Wibowo who realized it, embraced Manta to stand up and walked towards Mahari.

"There are no caves, you will run to the car" said Bowo. "We're breakeven, goddamn it."

Manta glanced at the bald man, then smiled wordlessly.

The two of them actually had a thought about Mahari who had raised one hand. When the two men had faced off with Mahari, Bowo asked.

"So lift your hand to do what, Mas Mahari?"

Mahari smiles. "Secret move, but thanks to you two so no need to get out."

"Straight surrender?" chirps Darmanta.

Mahari gave no answer or clarification, but it was clear from his face that Manta's words seemed to have a point. Seeing Mahari's expression, Bowo burst out.

"Yes, now we go home. Not long ago the streets here will be rame people passing by," said Mahari.

They all got into the car and headed back to Tantra. It's just that when on the way home, Bowo felt anxious. At one point he grumbled.

"The cave motor is missing!"

...****************...

The night passed and the rising sun opened a new leaf. Last night Mahari returned to the battleground against Buto Geni, lucky that Bowo's motorcycle was still in the same place.

This morning Mahari made breakfast for his three subordinates who indeed live in the house with him. Yasa reasonable, because since childhood he was taken care of by Mahari. However, for Manta and Bowo different affairs.

The two young men are still in college and need a cheap place to live. Thanks to Tantra, they get two side jobs and also a free place to stay.

This morning the four of them gathered. Bowo pecked at the five servings of fried rice omelet on the dining table. "Whose other one is this for, my friend? Hitta's? Whoa?"

"No. Later the association people will come here," replied Mahari.

"Oh, is it Santi?"

"Yes, at least he's his messenger."

The bell at the door suddenly rang. Mahari got up from his seat and walked forward to greet his guests. Shortly afterwards, Mahari returned to the dining table with a woman with a firm and athletic posture. Its height is about 165 centimeters, with a slender body curve. Her hair was pitch-black, long, and neatly rolled in a pigtail.

"Well, join me to eat nothing?" said the woman was friendly.

"Monggo, mbak Santi," replied Bowo the woman lover.

Sari Darmasanti is a member of the hunter association. That woman usually throws missions from associations for Tantra as there are no standby members at headquarters. Moreover, the reason why that woman was here was clear as well. If he throws the paper of duty, it means also he who gives the reward. Each task assigned by the association earns a monetary reward depending on the level listed.

Usually level C missions only get 100-300 thousand rupiah, then the average mission at level B is at 300-500 thousand rupiah, at level A reaches 500-1 million rupiah, and the average mission at level B is at 300-500 thousand rupiah, and at level S depends on the level of difficulty.

After breakfast, Santi gave two envelopes. Mahari smiled and picked up the envelope. However, he frowned when he felt an awkwardness.

"This one's slashed? What is the reward at level B rising prices?" ask Mahari.

Santi shakes. "All is normal" he replied. "There's just a little change. The association yesterday love label C, it turns out after it was traced it has a level of difficulty S."

Everyone listened to Santi's words. Naturally, if Yasa lost his voice for a while, Wibowo ached all over his body, and Manta had to limp one leg.

"I guessed it," said Mahari with a serious face."It's impossible for level C to be like that."

"Who's doing Wates Semalem, Har?" ask Santi.

"We are all leaving" replied Mahari.

Santi smiling. "Fortunately you came along, if there was no you maybe the three of them could lose their lives. Maybe this is what God's plan is called."

"Yes, I'm glad I came. Next time the association should be more observant, because this mistake is not a small mistake. Misdelivering people can be fatal as a result. Good thing it wasn't a top-class demon that showed up."

Hearing the ravings of Mahari, his three subordinates put on a flat face. The man looked fresh without the slightest scuff.

"Now, not back?" chirps Bowo.
