The Arkana: The Demon Hunters

The Arkana: The Demon Hunters
Spells

It is said that there are staff who committed suicide in the bathroom booth of this corner of the school. Since then many foul rumors about the bathroom that resulted in students and staff members never use the bathroom in the old building. School residents tend to use the bathroom in the new building located across the old building.

The old building still operates as a learning tool for primary schools, while the new building is prioritized for Junior High level. However, only the Junior High bathroom is used in the private school.

One day, when it was late afternoon, a student broke down. However, the bathroom in the new building was apparently full. Because he was unable to stem the desire, he also ran like a ninja to throw feces.

To hell with fear. It seems the shame is more terrible because it will be remembered all the time. Instead of having to resign himself, he decided to use the bathroom of the old building.

Plung!

"Ah, relieved."

Yeah, sounds pretty classic. Not long after the relief, now the fear crept into his body. Amidst that silence, the student hurriedly finished his affairs.

Tok .. tok .

The goosebumps! The hand he used to hold the dipper now trembled until the water in the dipper spilled.

"Who?" ask the student.

Tok .. tok .

There's no answer. Only knocking on the door again and again was heard. Though he had avoided the corner room in this bathroom, but still it still feels creepy.

Geck! Geck! Geck! Geck! Geck!

The longer the beat is the more brutal it becomes. Fuck istina! Now the student immediately put on his pants and was about to run away. However, when he tried to open the door, it did not open as if it was locked.

"Please!" he shouted while banging on the bathroom door.

He kept trying to open the door with everything he could. Unknowingly, something touched the end of her hair.

For a moment he stopped, then slowly turned and looked up. His eyes widened as he looked at the man hanging by a rope around his neck. His feet were hanging about the student's head. The man's eyes glared at the little boy inside the bathroom.

Being stared at by the person who should have died made the boy want to cry, but could not. His body was limp to the point of sitting and only able to look up at the man hanging himself on it.

"Tok .. tok .. tok .." said the man following the knocking sound of the door.

The rope hanging above was broken. The man fell on the boy who was scared to death.

"YYYYYYY!"

The boy's screams shocked the whole school. He was unconscious due to excessive fear and was brought to the UKS by the first teacher to break down the bathroom door.

...****************...

The day of alternating. A teacher came to the class carrying a lethargic-faced child in blue shorts with him

"Good morning to the children" the teacher said to the students in the class

"For the teacher," reply the children in the classroom with a compact

"Today we have a new child." The teacher looked at the transfer student. "Come, introduce yourself."

The boy sighed heavily, as if lazy with this introductory event. However, this is the first step in the educational procedure that must be passed. It was natural to move in the middle of the semester.

"Yasa Kanigara," he said staring at all the students in class in turn. "Greetings."

Sudden state of silence. That short time the boy gave introductions to his new friends. The teacher smiled at him.

"Where do you live? How many brothers? What does his father do? Mother too? What is his hobby?" ask the teacher.

Again the boy sighed with his lazy face. "Live on deket here. Single child. Orphaned. Memorizing hobby."

Hearing the word orphan come out of the child's mouth, made the teacher feel a little guilty. However, noticing the change in the teacher's expression, Yasa smiled faintly at the woman.

"Nothing. Ma'am. I'm ordinary," he said.

However, the teacher's words actually caused a big question mark in Yasa's mind. He stared at the old building outside the window from his chair.

...****************...

Days change. Slowly the awkwardness in his mind grew sharper. All humans in this place always use the bathroom of a new building, even though occasionally the bathroom here is full. The thing that looks the most awkward is when someone prefers to queue, even though there is an empty bathroom in the old building.

This afternoon Yasa came home late because his uncle was late to pick him up. He spent his time staring at the children playing ball on the field. One by one the children left when picked up by their parents. Seeing that, there was envy within Yasa. Deep down, he wants to be picked up by his parents, but he realizes that the dead can never return.

I don't feel like time passes so quickly. Yasa is the last student in school. Perhaps out of boredom, he decided to take a little walk.

Her steps stopped in front of the bathroom of the old building. It felt like there was a mysterious aura that made him interested in going there. Yes, I want to pee, and Yasa walks to the bathroom of the old building.

As soon as he entered, Yasa continued to step up to stand in the last room of the bathroom. He opened the door and went inside and locked it.

Yasa turned his back to the door, he stood in front of the closet while urinating. I don't know, the aura in this place gave him goosebumps. People say, when we get goosebumps when we are somewhere, it means that there is a presence of subtle creatures there.

Tok .. tok .

The corner of his eyes glanced towards the right while his head slightly looked back. Who knocked on the door when he knew that there was no other child in this school. It was impossible for a prank teacher to prank his student.

"Who?" ask Yasa.

But there is no answer.

Geck! Geck! Geck! Geck!

The knocking sounded even more brutal to the pounding on the bathroom door that Yasa used.

Yasa completed the ritual perfectly, then calmly turned towards the door that was brutally pounded. His mouth was unceasingly muttering something.

"Amurwabumi, mercury kula. Damarwulan, ameng kurmati. Wisnumurti, kang. Aji amukti, amukti kula.

Suddenly things became quiet. Yasa opened the door, but the door was locked. He tried to turn the handle back, but it could not open.

"Sira fellow, sira sukma. Kinanthi. Gusti, pangarsa kawula," muttered Yasa.

The locked door can now be opened easily. The boy walked out of the bathroom corner of the old building. As soon as he came out, in front of the bathroom exit was a man who floated with a knot of rope wrapped around his neck. The creature stood covering the exit with glaring eyes.

"Go," said Yasa. "Don't disturb this place anymore. This isn't your place."

That thing looks riled up. He darted quickly towards Yasa who had dared to disturb the territory of the evil spirit.

Yasa sighed. "Brahma Bathara, Vishnu Bathara, Shiva Bathara. Angremu jroning nature, marang mara action."

The evil spirit suddenly bounced away, as if there was an unseen veil protecting Yasa. But he won't give up. The creature bounced back and was still trying to attack violently.

"I gave you two choices. Go or disappear?" asked Yasa in a firm tone.

The creature did not answer with words. He is still trying to attack from all sides. Seeing his efforts made Yasa again sigh heavily. The creature's answer made him shake thinly.

"What can I do" he continued. Now the boy stared at the evil spirit figure waiting for the bathroom with a sharp eye. He attached his index and middle fingers, then pointed them at the evil spirit.

"Sacred chant, evil atma mapadma. Power of nature, magenah adharma. Raris titiang, pamrentah jagat. Ida Sang Hyang Widhi, titiang sami is safe."

The evil spirit suddenly stopped attacking. It looked like it was being burned by something invisible. Yasa continued chanting the second ba'it of his spell.

"Roh kelam, titiang ngalahin olih cahya. The power of nature, ngulurangin adharma. Titiang pateh, put on meat. Dados titiang nenten ngalingi dewa malaibang."

"I will curse you to hell, man!" exclaim the creature with bulging eyes while wriggling like a hot worm.

Yasa closed his eyes still with two fingers pointing at his opponent. "The form of an evil spirit, titiang tapalangin olih cahya. The power of nature, ngulurangin adharma. Pateh ngalahin, titiang nenten scold Ida Sang Hyang Widhi. Mugi dados titiang, panglimbak ring sami adharma!"

The spirit melted into a puff of black smoke and vanished from Yasa's sight. Now the boy walked to the sink and washed his hands, then with both hands hidden behind a bag of pants, he walked out of the bathroom of the old building.

From then on, slowly but surely, the rumors about the bathroom of the old building disappeared by itself as time went on. No more astral disturbances took place there and buried the dark story into the school's historical grounds.
