The Arkana: The Demon Hunters

The Arkana: The Demon Hunters
Families

Three days have passed since the battle against Nidrajahat. Manta, Bowo, and Yasa who had fainted in unison after the battle due to exhaustion, were unable to find Mahari. After the battle it had somehow gone where the man was.

Tonight Manta sits in an angkringan not far from Tantra. He was accompanied by fried food and black coffee.

"Old Sorry, Ta," said Mayang who appeared in a white T-shirt wrapped in a black cardigan, in line with Manta who wore a white shirt combined with a black shirt. The girl sat next to Manta.

"Not long," replied Manta.

"By the way the tumben met, why?" ask Mayang.

"Someone wants me to talk about."

Mayang gulped, he hoped there was something big after this night passed. Be Manta's girlfriend.

"W-what's the tuh?" ask the girl clumsy.

"Next week Tantra is open. You still want to go back?"

"You dong, some days I'm just off, right? Not fired?"

Manta smile. "It's a holiday, but it's been a long time."

The red-faced mayang. "Yes, not meeting you feels like one day old kayak, Ta. It feels like I'm in jail in the bars of time."

Manta just silently chimed in Mayang's words. A new atmosphere was born between them. Mayang thought to restore the atmosphere.

"Eh, Ta. Means Mas Mahari is back dong?" ask Mayang.

"Yes, but go again" answered Manta briefly.

"Where?"

Manta shrugged his shoulders. "So, that's what I'm looking for."

Mayang squinted his eyes. "Any, huh?"

"Yes, that's it." Manta smile. "Tantra actually has its own conflict, a complicated conflict. Maybe Mas Mahari again needed some time alone, so he left. On the one hand, me, Bowo, and Yasa felt guilty for what happened."

Mayang looked at Manta's face looking down, looking sad. "You're family, it's only natural that there's conflict. In fact, if you have no conflict, your relationship is normal, Ta."

Manta looked at Mayang. "That, huh?"

Mayang nodded. "Eh, Ta, take a walk. We're looking for Mahari. Who knows meet on the street," said Mayang bermodus.

"Where is the road to?"

"Where are you from." The girl chuckled. "This is a random road, who knows we find Mas Mahari."

Manta got up from his seat and paid for his food. Then he and Mayang walked to the bike that Mayang borrowed from Hitta.

"Eh, have you eaten yet?" ask Manta.

"Udah kok, so confused about the meeting but have both eaten hehe."

They also went up and rode. "I take the helmet first" said Manta.

"okay!" mayang Reply.

The two of them went to Tantra to pick up a helmet, then circled the night without direction and purpose. Just walking around bathed in moonlight.

...****************...

Yasa sat on a stretch of grass on the outskirts of the Mataram Gutter. He stared at the necklace he had used to lock Dursasana up. Although it could be said to win, but on the other hand the boy felt defeated. Because he lost Mahari again.

The gurgling sound of water and the chanting of crickets became calming sounding instruments. He thought if he was there, maybe his mood would calm down. But the truth is not so. All this harmonization makes him even more lonely.

He had not had time to apologize to Mahari, and now the man had disappeared again without leaving any trace and scent to pursue.

"It's easier to rapalin a demon-busting spell than to say sorry, slice," he muttered.

Now he lay down in the grass and stared at the lonely moon without a single star.

"Sometimes I envy the moon, which still shines though alone in the darkness."

He closed his eyes for a moment, then unconsciously fell asleep.

...****************...

On the other hand Bowo has just finished consuls with physiotherapy at Ratnakusuma. He walked forward with Anik.

"Okay, careful, Nik," Bowo replied.

Anik took his bike in the parking lot, then left Bowo who was going home on foot.

"Woy, baldy!"

Bowo looked towards the gate. There was Hitta sitting on the bike. Bow walked over to Hitta.

"What's going on here, Hit?"

"It just so happens that through time, keep wanting to see you here. Fitting again looking into the dalem gapura, uh pala lu shining. Yeah, you guys stopped by, wanna be with you?"

"May you." Bowo rode in the back seat, while Hitta was carrying the bike.

"Where's your hand?" ask Hittah whose eyes are focused on driving.

"It's healing soon too. Yesterday there were obstacles, but not big things" replied Bowo.

"Oh." A moment of silence on the motor. "Whose girl was it, wasn't it?"

"Oh, that's Anik, why?"

"Your boyfriend?" ask Hitta.

"No" replied Bowo.

Hitta chuckles. "Udah cave guess. Doesn't fit you."

"Damn it," replied Bowo. "In your eyes mah gua don't pantes the same as anyone!"

"Emang." Hitta smiled. "There's only one girl that fits you ..," said the girl.

"Huh? What the hell are you talking about, Hit?"

"Groan!" hitta's reply.

"No! The abis emang. I think there's a connection."

"Huh?" Hitta pretended not to hear, as if people were chatting on the bike. Although he actually heard.

"Huh?" bowo Balakan.

"Huh?" keep Hitta up again.

The two of them laughed together as they hoh hah hoh along the way.

...****************...

At one point, Manta, Yasa, and Bowo arrive simultaneously at Tantra. They darted at each other, then stared at the dark main house.

"Lu's just coming home too?" ask Bowo.

Manta nodded in response. "But the cave was already perfect for lighting the lights."

"Why do we die?" ask Yasa.

They both squeak, then give each other codes to move forward. Yasa was already with the pose of index and middle fingers attached, preparing to hit the evil spirit that could at any time come attacking.

"Wo, open the door" said Yasa.

Bowo opened the door and jumped to the side. Yasa prepared to attack.

"Congratulations!"

The three of them quietly stared into the suddenly bright house. Mahari had been waiting with a bit of surprise for the cake.

"Happy birthday, Yasa Kanigara" he said, followed by a smile.

Yasa was crying. All his life, it felt like only this time he was crying without knowing the cause. Whether sad, angry, happy, or haru.

Mahari immediately hugged the boy and stroked his head. "May this year be better than the year before."

Manta and Bowo look at each other, then embrace the two of them and embrace together. On this cold night, the atmosphere was suddenly warm. Yes, that's how families function, warming each other up.

Family is not something that is only bound by blood ties, but family is where we feel home when tired of walking, they are home. Because the family is the people who are always there and become a crucial process in maturation.
