The Arkana: The Demon Hunters

The Arkana: The Demon Hunters
Kliwon Kelabu Surakarta

Tonight Mahari and his three troops set out from Jogja to Solo on their dark horses. Holden Kingswood drove quickly bulldozed the dark path of Klaten to reach their destination, namely Surakarta, or the city of Solo.

The news of a mass trance that killed one adult man at Solo Balapan Station got Tantra moving. Mahari smelled the scent of black magic that was thick with his instincts.

"Later until basecamp we naro goods, continue scattering to the four corners of the wind," said Mahari. "Manta to the East, Bowo to the West, Yasa to the South, the rest to the North."

"Yes himself?" ask Bowo.

"double. There will be something that will help him" replied Mahari.

Mahari's black classic car arrives at a two-story house. The house did not have a large courtyard like Tantra, but it had a fairly wide garage. Probably fit four cars. Mahari and his men got out of the car.

A gondrong-haired man unraveled with sunglasses greeted them. He was wearing a black butched-sleeve shirt featuring his small arms that looked mighty. Throughout his body many tattoos that add to the impression of horror in the three Tantric children who came.

"The motor has four in the garage, the key is stuck. In Dalem jok there is a raincoat with STNK. Just choose to transport here," said his heavy voice.

"Thank you, Tris," replied Mahari. He looked at the three members. "Here's called Mas Trisna. He's in charge of all the hunters in Solo."

Trishna looked at them all. "Jiwisn."

"Gua thought there was no hunter's office in Solo, Mas Har," Bowo replied.

"Indeed," said Trisna. "The core offices of the association only exist in Jakarta, Bandung, and Jogja. But even so, it does not mean that other regions do not have headquarters. Due to lack of funds, we formed a network under the association. This house is my home that I happen to be willing to make a basecamp for the hunter's association and also a halfway house."

"O-okay, thank you, um," Bowo replied.

Trisna turned her gaze towards Yasa. "Yo, kid. You're coming with me. We're going south." The man went inside to prepare for his needs.

For a moment Yasa turned his head towards Mahari, and Mahari nodded slowly at him. Yasa could only sigh resignedly, then went to follow Trisna into the house.

"Well, we have to get ready, too." Mahari also walked inside along with Manta and Bowo.

The three of them went upstairs, then went into a room where the door was open. There are two level mattresses to rest on, enough for four people.

Yasa was already inside there, putting down his personal belongings and carrying some equipment for hunting, such as a flashlight and also a knife just in case.

"First, Boss." Yasa walked past Mahari out of the room to expand to the South.

"Be careful" replied Mahari.

The boy walked over while waving his one hand without turning his head. He went down the stairs to the garage to meet Jiwatrisna who was waiting.

"Depart." Trisna gives Yasa a helmet. He looks like a rocker, with a black leather jacket and dark brown leather shoes.

Yasa was wearing the helmet that Trisna had given him. After the boy climbed in the back seat, Trisna immediately gas sped away from the base.

Soon after, Mahari, Manta and Bowo came down.

"This is who's keeping the house when it's all left?" ask Bowo.

"Not much to ask. Focus on the same tasks, "reply Mahari.

Manta and Bowo got on their bike and started the engine.

"Inget, if you find something suspicious do not immediately brush. Keep monitoring while giving signals in the BBM group" said Mahari. "Our enemies are strong."

Manta and Bowo nodded. They put on helmets, and then went out. As soon as the two of them were together, Mahari took out a small notebook from her pocket and recorded something. When he finished writing, he rushed north.

...****************...

On the other hand, a man in a long-sleeved white shirt rolled under his elbow was staring at the city of Surakarta from the top of a tall building. Up there was only her and a pale gray-haired little boy wearing a black hoodie. The boy was slightly more mature and taller than Yasa. Maybe their age difference is about three years.

"Are you sure?" ask the boy.

The man in the white shirt just smiled while wearing his black gloves.

The boy grinned, then chuckled while crouching to look at his interlocutor. "Yes, whatever."

The man took a knife out of his pocket. He held the knife until his left palm was bleeding. The man walked towards a table with a white tablecloth. On the table was an open black book. He offered his blood to the book.

"Seeing you do this always gives me goosebumps" the boy murmured. "You're so disgusting, Darto."

The man named Darto just smiled. From his shadow appeared many evil spirits who were ready to be given orders.

"The terror of this city is filled with boisterous human screams" he murmured.

Hundreds of evil spirits spread into the city and made troublemakers. They possessed every human they met.

"If you find something interesting tell me," said the boy, he looked very bored.

Darto closed his eyes. Vaguely sounds boisterous from all corners of the city of Surakarta. He smiled while taking a deep breath.

"I love the smell of fear!" his yell.

Suddenly, his face changed. He looked far away at one point.

"Why?" ask the boy who was with him.

"I understand the Arkanas have also started to move, but from the West, my demons are disappearing from the radar quickly. Even some of the high-leveled ones disappeared like no resistance."

"Is that maybe Captain's class? Or maybe the Commander of the association?" ask the boy.

"Maybe" replied Darto. "This one is strong."

The boy grinned, he got up from his squat. "OK, since it's getting boring here, I'm going to go there. I hope he's right as strong as you say."

Darto just silently glanced at the boy with the tip of his eye.

The boy was like he was warming up lightly. At one point he again crouched facing West and supported the entire weight of the body on his feet so that the base rested into cracks.

He grinned and released an extremely dense killing aura. "The wind of wills." Instantly, a wave of hateful wind blew as his figure disappeared from Darto's sight. Just now the boy had sped off flying rapidly towards the west.

The wind that blew because of the jump effect initially managed to bring a message of horror to the Arkanas who are currently fighting against the evil spirit of Darto throughout Surakarta.

...****************...

Meanwhile, Bowo was still shaking from feeling the wind that had not long touched his skin.

'What kind of horrible aura is this damn thing?!' Her thought.

From the East he sensed a gripping aura that was rapidly darting towards him. Bowo stared intently in that direction with sweat pouring out.

'This monster is coming.'

Bowo fought his fear and started to move. Reflexively he rolled to the right.

DUAAAR!!!

His instincts this time were not wrong. If it's too late to dodge, maybe Bowo is already a dust grain now. The place on the beach was destroyed by the fall of something, but Bowo did not know what it was because the thick dust kept his view blocked. But one thing is certain. Inside the dust, there was something terrible because Bowo was goosebumps right now.

The dust slowly dissipated from the night wind, displaying the crouching boy grinning towards him densely with a murderous aura that could not be hidden.

"Yo, Arkana" said the boy.

Bowo. "Who are you really?"

"Me?" He laughed out loud at Bowo's question. "I am the representation of fear, I am the symbol of horror, I am the bearer of destruction, I am what you call death, I am the strongest demon you have ever met. Introduce, Mr. Arkana. I'm Dursasana."
