Chapter 62: The Truth (Rainer)

"I initially refused, Eryk's father did not insist, he offered me to go back to Japan, too" said Rainer, "then I thought again, I have no one in Japan then why return? So tomorrow I'm accepting adoption."

"Sorry I'm presumptuous, but you don't have a brother in Japan?" ask Gaea.

Rainer said there's nobody in Japan, which is impossible, right? There must be relatives of the man's parents.

Rainer put on a bitter smile as he said, "The family of Kaa-san is a respected person, Kaa-san ran off with Tou-san because their love is not condoned, they run away to a small town and marry without blessing. You know next."

"Uh ..," Gaea could not say anything, now understand why Rainer has no one in Japan, he said, rainer's parents must have hated the man because of the result of unapproved love.

"But, lately the family from Tou-san contacted me," Rainer said, "they're going to adopt me after learning that Tou-san is gone."

"Why should? They weren't there when we were in trouble" Rainer said coldly. "I assure you that they are happy to hear the news of my parents' departure."

"Not like that, the times they regretted abandoning you and your parents" Gaea said.

Every action has a reason, that is the principle of Gaea.

"That's what they said when we talked on the phone," Rainer said, "I didn't tell you in the park about my wish to return?"

Gaea of course remembered, let alone Rainer's remarks about the reason for still staying in New York, "The offer was from your family?"

Rainer nodded.

"Gaea? What are you doing standing in front of the house!?" the screams of the female voice from the distance ended the conversation of the two of them.

Gaea turned to her house to find her mother still wearing a rose-patterned cooking apron walking up to her, hugging her tightly.

"Oh, I miss you so much, baby," said Gaea's carefree foster mother.

Gaea returned her foster mother's embrace, "Me too, Mom."

Gaea's mother loosened her arms a little so that she could see the face of her adopted son, brushed with brown hair and Gaea's cheeks full of tenderness, "Oh, I still can't believe you're back, baby. You're getting pretty."

Gaea blushed in embarrassment, "Hehehe ... Lola and Ava tell me how to take care of the body."

"Oh," Gaea's mother remembered something, releasing her longing embrace, to glance at Rainer who had been silently watching.

Rainer bowed his body respectfully, "It's nice to meet you."

"Call me Mom or Lily, son," Lily said.

"It's nice to meet you, Miss Lily" Rainer said with a warm smile. "You're so much prettier than I thought."

"Oh dear, I understand why you chose Rainer" Lily blushed.

"Really!?" gaea asks, he himself is confused where his mother could have liked Rainer so quickly.

"Rainer has a beautiful smile, I'm sure you're starting to like Rainer from his sweet smile, even though you're most likely liking his handsome face first, anyway," Lily said, thinking seriously as she held her chin up.

Gaea did not reply, scratching her arm nervously. No doubt, he also judged Rainer had a beautiful smile until the desire to feel the lips of the man getting higher.

'Ugh, this is due to the date, so think strangely, ' Gaea said in her heart.

"Come on, enter Gaea, Rainer," said Lily softly. "Mom cooked a special meal for you both to come."

Lily opened the whitewashed door, "Please enter my little palace."

"Excuse me," Rainer said politely.

Gaea came in later a little hesitant if there would be her foster brother inside, her hands trembling a little considering her bad memories with her brother. She took a deep breath, encouraging herself that it was all right that she had become a strong woman, then she went inside, "I'm home" she said.

"Oh, Gaea dear."

Gaea's eyes widened hearing the heavy and masculine voice that had always haunted her in her dreams for so many years, there, not far from her sat a long blonde-haired young man tied back, tied back, a meaningful smile was etched behind his thin black mustache.

The man rose from his seat, widening his arms ready to hug his beloved foster sister whom he had not seen for seven years, "Gaea dear, welcome back."

Gaea quickly dodges the hug, hiding behind Rainer's back so that it can't be reached by Ethan.

"You don't want to hug Ethan's brother?" ethan asked with a contrived hurt tone.

Gaea rolled her eyeballs.

Ethan is the last person in the world he wants to embrace, hatred in him for years sticking out of the glare of his green eyes saw the behavior of his brother pretentious as if he did not have the slightest sin on him for all his actions.

"It's nice to meet you too" Gaea said without hiding a cold tone in her small voice.

Ethan shook his head in disbelief Gaea had still not changed, seeing Rainer who was the protector of his sister, his eyes turned narrowed dislike, "Who are you?"

Without turning his eyes, Rainer said, "My name is Rainer, I'm Gaea's lover."

Ethan gawks before laughing loudly to fill the room, "You? Hahaha .. at least the guy in the video looks more like a man than you. I think Gaea has bad taste, huh?"
