Chapter 25: Training? (2)

Eryk eventually dropped Gaea off after they reached his usual training ground.

"Based on the forcible" said Gaea.

Eryk who was picking up equipment for the practice stopped, had his intention to teach restraint after hearing Gaea's complaint, he changed his course. He approached the young woman again, put on glasses, and ear protection, the rest of which were gloves, he gave it to Gaea. "Wear this."

Gaea is not an expert but glasses and earplugs make him sure this is not an archery exercise. "Hey at least make me choose dong! I'm shooting instead of shooting."

Eryk also wanted to teach archery first, the incident this morning due to the actions of Kervyn made it even more extra. "I know this all of a sudden but trust me that it's for your sake as well" he said, before Gaea could answer, adding. "You're my fiancee now, I have a lot of rivals, worst-case scenario they'll come after you first. You understand, right? Your physique is fit, right?"

"I'm..." Gaea lost his word; being a businessman risks a lot of course he knows. "Yes,"

"Here," Eryk held out a gun after he finished wearing the armor as well.

"You taught me?" tanya Gaea saw Eryk's almost identical appearance as minus the gloves.

"You just look at me, Gaea," Eryk replied with ridicule.

Gaea accepted it and gulped her saliva nervously. "What if I miss? Oh... And I shot someone else!?" the thrill was already panicked first considering this was the first time he held a gun, quite heavy as well.

"This room is safe Gaea won't break out" said Eryk, then he pointed Gaea's hand at a round board with numbers. "Straighten your hands and spread your legs, keep your eyes focused on Gaea's target."

Gaea obeyed what Eryk said, but what made it difficult for him to focus was the distance Eryk's face was so close to him, frustrated, he dropped the gun again. "What if I fail?"

"Your hand is just broken,"

"What!?" exclaimed Gaea in disbelief; eryk easily said a broken hand was nothing.

Eryk laughed a little. "Relax Gaea, I chose a small-powered pistol and even the shot was manual" he explained. "That's why I want you to obey, huh?"

Gaea exhaled her breath, and started aiming again.

"Good, now I want you to pull the trigger slowly, don't beat it, okay? The bullet will slip down."

"Have you filled the bullet?" gaea asked; it was very difficult to shoot apparently, even though in the film it looks easy.

"Of course not, you think I'm stupid?" Eryk asked back mockingly; amateurs like Gaea were at great risk of missing out without an initial attempt.

Gaea puffed her cheeks. "Basic! You're scaring me! I thought there was a bullet in his gun." After the protest, he took aim again, more confident, yes because there was no bullet. "Like this?"

Eryk nodded. "Simmer your breath Gaea, exhale slowly."

Gaea said it was still difficult at first because of Eryk's close distance, but could finally think Eryk was Ferdinand.

Eryk nodded. "Now I want you to aim at the center."

Gaea moved her hand slightly so that the muzzle of her gun fit the target in the middle.

Eryk folded his hands. "It's the hardest, you have to slowly pull the trigger, don't be too rough because it's going to miss." he put his hand on top of Gaea put a gentle pressure there. "Like this, okay?"

Gaea instantly blushed, nodding stiffly, embarrassed.

"To be honest, the wind direction also affects because we are in the room, later we will learn about it" said Eryk. "Try Gaea."

Gaea nodded, aiming again at the target then slowly pulled the trigger. "Lookin?"

Eryk nodded. "His gun?" he asked while extending his hand.

Gaea according, unexpectedly only for a moment, know this did not have to protest—"Eh!?" he was surprised to see Eryk put a bullet in the gun. "Eryk—"

Eryk nodded as if understanding Gaea's question, he handed Gaea the loaded gun again. "This time I want to see you shoot."

Eryk could clearly see the fear from Gaea's hands. "Calm down Gaea, it's okay, you can do it."

Gaea glanced at Eryk who was beside her. "How about missing? I don't want to hurt you..."

Eryk was certainly surprised to hear that, he did not expect Gaea to be afraid of him, he actually thought the young woman would imagine the target point as her. "You won't hurt me if Gaea's focus, remember, you're a strong woman, you're my preferred fiancee not without reason." she tried to entertain as well as possible even as gently as possible.

Gaea was slightly comforted by Eryk's words, exhaled her breath and started again aiming. "Slow, right?" tanyanya seriously.

"Yes" said Eryk. "You can—"

Dor's!

Eryk was surprised Gaea immediately pulled the trigger, he glanced at Gaea who had been panting then at the target; gaea's shot did not hit the middle just beside him.

Not a bad start.

Gaea put the gun next to him still can't believe she was wearing it.

Eryk sat beside Gaea, placing two bottles of water between them. "We can continue if you're calm again..."

Gaea did not believe Eryk was still willing to force him to train after seeing him helpless like this. "I don't want to, Eryk, I'm scared."

"So you can..."

"I did it for you!" exclaiming Gaea who made Eryk speechless, he hugged his knee. "I don't want to, it reminds me of what happened before."—where both his parents were killed.

Eryk pensive. He also had the same reaction when he first tried training, because he had also seen his father shot by Kervyn in front of his eyes, of course he understood Gaea's feelings now. "Here..."

"Eh?" Gaea glanced at Eryk who was unfurling one hand. "You mean?"

Eryk clucked in annoyance, Gaea always just did not understand the signal given by him to be spoken with words of new understanding. He threw away his face so that the young lady would not see her blushing face and said. "I'll offer you a hug, you look pathetic."

Eryk's words were so sweet that they finally brought the atmosphere back to cold.

"No need," said Gaea, throwing his face away as well. "Who wants to be hugged?" instantly he felt his arms wrapped around his body which turned out to be Eryk holding him. "You—"

"Stop protesting" said Eryk coldly. "Be the woman I loved once..."

Gaea could not hear it. "What did you say?"

"Be a normal woman just this once, Gaea," Eryk repeated happily.

Gaea felt that there was a little different trying to protest. "But—"

"St..."

Gaea obediently kept silent, her eyes fixed on her feet, she could not believe that she was now in a hug with Eryk even though just to comfort her heart was pounding rapidly, she was sure that her face was blushing red right now.

'Help Eryk, my fear is gone my heart cannot beat normally.'

"Hey, Gaea." call Eryk slowly.

"H... ?" Gaea answered her sect.

"What if I just stop doing business?"

Eryk's question surprised Gaea, who managed to make him look at the young man. "Why?"

"I always chase after someone who has taken something precious from me, until I subconsciously drag you and others into my troubles" Eryk said sadly.

"Eryk.." for the first time Gaea saw someone as strong as Eryk look helpless as this, maybe this is the side that Eryk had been hiding all along.

"Perhaps, I should let this burning feeling in the heart go away." said Eryk. "Stop doing business and go out of the country, looking for a remote city so that no one bothers us..."

"I'm..."

Eryk instantly let go of his embrace, getting up on his feet. "I'm sorry I said a no-no to you Gaea." she got carried away with this feeling of seeing Gaea so scared. "Today's work is done."

"Wait."

Eryk stop.

Gaea was actually still confused what Eryk meant earlier but he still gave his opinion. "I think you should let anything go if you want to be with us of course."

Eryk continued in his footsteps without saying anything.

Pensive gaea.

Maybe his words were wrong.

When outside, Eryk was surprised to see Rainer outside. "What are you doing here? I'll ask you to rest, Rainer."

"I know," said Rainer Kalem. "But I want to tell you about a party on a cruise ship and there's Aizawa..."
