Eryk pushed Katherine's body behind him, staring intently at Kervyn who was upstairs, "You're cunning, come here if you dare."

"You've learned some bluffing words for twelve years, I'm proud of you, Eryk" Kervyn said with a sweet smile.

"Don't say my name" said Eryk coldly.

Kervyn clucked his waist, "But your nature of not being able to joke around hasn't changed."

Eryk was fed up with this talk, if he had a gun maybe the story would be different, "What do you want from me?" tanyakanya.

"Hm .. Let me think for a moment" Kervyn said as she tapped the temple with her index finger. "Ah, yes, I want to thank you for giving me money."

"Happy with my money." said Eryk coldly.

"Hm .. You're still irritable, I like it," Kervyn said. "Even if your intelligence level is below average."

Eryk clenched his hands holding back his emotions mocked like that, "You're talking about yourself? Pathetic."

Kervyn shook her head in disbelief at what she had just heard, "You'd rather gold than emerald clearly prove your wits didn't rise from the last time we met."

"Speak like most normal people." said Eryk.

"Mahaha ..." Kervyn laughed loudly until he filled the room. "You think I'm doing this just for your money? You're wrong, Eryk. Your money isn't worth what I'll get after this."

Eryk's eyes widened in shock.

Not money? Then what?

Kervyn grinned widely, "As I said, you took gold instead of keeping your emerald tight."

"Emerald?" Eryk thought hard, he had absolutely no possession or collection of emerald, what Kervyn was talking about. "I don't have any emerald or other ornament I'm not a collector like you."

"That's you Eryk, just focus on your ego to the point of not knowing you're hiding something I've been looking for all this time" Kervyn said, shaking his head in thought. "You're really dull, but I thank your group in this way that I can continue a project that has been stalled for years."

Everything Kervyn said made no sense in Eryk's head.

"I think I'll tell you considering you've been kind enough to give me that money and that emerald" Kervyn said lightly. "You know you used to be a Bodyguard?"

Eryk was surprised instead of playing, hearing the word Bodyguard made him instantly understand what was discussed with Kervyn since earlier.

He became a Bodyguard only once.

The Emerald that Kervyn refers to is the color of the eye.

"Gaea ..." murmured Eryk.

So all this is to separate himself from Gaea?

Kervyn clapped his hands after seeing Eryk's face turn anxious, "Now you understand .. No you won't understand, you're always like this Eryk, always thinking of yourself."

"Shut up!" exclaim Eryk emotion.

Kervyn obviously didn't comply, "You never thought about why our father was so protective of Gaea long ago, why you were assigned to Bodyguard, you weren't interested, that's why even now you still can't catch me" she said with a big smile on her lips

Eryk's anger that had exceeded his limits was underestimated and continued to throw a pen that was behind his jacket, "You're wrong if I don't have readiness about Gaea."

Kervyn laughed again, "What readiness? You're here locked up with me and they're partying without you? Yes, great readiness."

Eryk was surprised to hear that, "They don't party! It won't be possible." he said sharply even though his heart was mixed now.

Gaea and her brother had a party after he strictly forbade it before leaving ...?

Kervyn was completely unaffected by Eryk's bluff, smiling broadly at the satisfaction of seeing his brother panic, "You think they're all loyal to you?" tanyanya relax.

"They're loyal to me." Eryk replied without any hesitation.

Kervyn's smile grew wider, "Let me emphasize, are they loyal to you?"

Eryk was about to repeat his words again before finally realizing something if they were loyal there would be no way they would have a party ...

Eryk bowed deeply, thinking one of his family betrayed him made all his courage slowly dim.

Eryk just follows his instincts, but who would have thought it would come true and he has absolutely no clue as to who betrayed him.

"So? I'm kind to you to give me a choice, do you want to catch me or save your emerald?" ask Kervyn.

Eryk stared intently at Kervyn who was only answered with a wide grin by his brother, his eyes widened not to see Rainer standing behind Kervyn.

Kervyn could hear the sound of the shoes from behind him, he turned to face a Rainer fist, he who had a sudden attack could not dodge Rainer's blow on his cheek, he was surprised, he grieved that it was bleeding from there, "I forgot you were here."

"I'm tired of hearing your nonsense" said Rainer coldly, then attacked again, which unfortunately missed.

Kervyn, who was holding Rainer's arm, lifted him to the ground where Eryk had hit the table below, breaking the table.

"Rainer!" Eryk immediately approached Rainer who was moaning in pain holding his back. "You okay, Rainer?"

Rainer tries to sit down with Katherine's help.

"Slow down, your body just fell from a height" said Katherine trying to stop who wanted Rainer standing.

Rainer refused Katherine's help by pushing with her hand that was when she couldn't feel her left index finger, "My finger is numb."

Eryk gritted his teeth in frustration, "Kervyn!"

Kervyn just shrugged indifferently, "I'm just protecting myself."

Eryk wants to talk again, but is stopped by Rainer.

Rainer shook his head, "Don't, now we better hurry back home."

"But how?" eryk asked frustratedly not having a way of blurring and this was on the fourth floor.

Rainer smiled faintly, "They're coming."

"Huh?"

Instantly the room began to be filled by the auction participants who had been on the lower floor.

"Hey, Kervyn, he said you'd give away your collection for free!" said one of the participants.

Kervyn was surprised instead of playing, "What!?"

"You said it yourself in the announcement microphone."

Kervyn was getting confused, "What? I don't make statements like that!"

"Don't lie, Kervyn."

"Now, Eryk." whispered Rainer.

Eryk regained his senses and immediately placed Rainer's hand on his shoulder and walked quickly to the elevator.

Eryk bowed, "I don't know if we'll be able to escape, I'm sure Kervyn has a crew here, and maybe they're carrying weapons."

"I've been figuring out this auction, Kervyn actually registered this auction legally," Rainer said, "the previous auction failed to get caught by Johnny so they made a new deal, conditional Kervyn must use Johnny's employees."

"I think Johnny would have agreed without looking any deeper" Eryk said, recalling yesterday that Johnny had alluded to money.

"And destroy their reputation for a little money? It's not possible" Rainer said. "While I still don't understand why Kervyn would still agree to rent this, he must be in such a hurry about this event."

"Hm," makes sense too. "I'll call Johnny later. But now ..."

"Make sure Gaea hasn't been kidnapped." Rainer continued Eryk's words.

Eryk sighed, in his heart he wished Gaea had followed his orders.
