The lunch break bell rang. The corridor that was empty was now crowded again. Everyone rushed out of the classroom and filled the corridor. Their destination is the same as the school cafeteria.
"I heard lunch today spicy rib soup" said a male student sitting in front of Lucas. He turned his back on him trying to talk to Lucas.
Lucas, who seemed disinterested in lunch, only briefly clucked with a flat expression in response to the greeting just now. He slid his head and hands on the table as if to show that he did not want to be disturbed.
Lucas dislikes intimate relationships, especially if the person behaves as if they understand the situation. The friendship he creates is nothing more than the relationship between superiors and subordinates.
The male disciple who felt neglected by Lucas let out a small sigh. He was visibly upset by Lucas' response and raised his right hand to move as if he wanted to hit Lucas on the head. But two other friends who had been standing behind the boy prevented him.
"Jake, let's just let him go" said another friend.
"We won't get a portion of the lunch ration if we don't go now" another friend said.
The intentions of these three people were of course good. They just want to know a new friend. But apparently their intentions did not get a good response. They left Lucas.
Lucas was still asleep in the same position. After the classroom door closed again the moment the three people came out, the classroom atmosphere became completely silent. Lucas calmed down and began to close his eyes.
Draaakkk!
Suddenly a very loud bang surprised Lucas made his eyes open instantly and his heartbeat moved quickly. With stiffened eyes holding back his annoyance he raised his head trying to find the origin of the loud noise.
Lucas looked straight ahead. Two benches away from him, he saw a girl just getting out of the chair she was sitting in. That girl is Gazelle.
Gazelle put an ear phone to his ear and walked casually while choosing a song from his phone to the exit as if not concerned with the noise he created. The commotion that came from the chair that was pushed firmly when he stood up earlier. Of course the noise he intentionally made.
"Woi." Lucas who had just stabilized his heartbeat shouted at Gazelle. But his voice certainly did not sound in Gazelle's ears.
A feeling-disappointed Lucas got up and walked quickly to catch up to Gazelle who had disappeared behind the door.
"You ignored me after making all this mess, who do you think you are? How dare you...." Lucas's voice was cut off because as he opened the two doors loudly all the disciples standing along the hall stared at him.
"Waaa..," cried several female students who were shocked to see Lucas' charming look emerging from behind the door. They whispered to each other and began to cover him. Apparently rumors of a move quickly circulated. That was the reason why the corridor in front of the classroom was currently filled with female students passing by.
Lucas who was surprised to get a sudden attack could not dwell. His feet could no longer move, not even a single step could. His eyes tightened with anger. Other than because of the commotion it was of course because he lost the girl.
"Surge you?" he told the crowd.
"Hi, is your name Lucas?"
"Hello Lucas can meet?"
"What's your phone number?"
Lucas... Lucas... Lucas... Lucas' name was unceasingly spoken of by the students who wanted to get to know him.
Gazelle, meanwhile, was freed from Lucas' radar thanks to the crowd casually breezing towards the roof. The door to the roof was unlocked but no students were allowed to climb onto the roof. Anyone caught on the roof will be punished. Therefore no student dared to come here, except Gazelle.
Gazelle knew clearly where the blind spot of the security camera was on the roof. He used it to sit quietly on the roof staring at the expanse of the sky away from the crowd.
Meanwhile Lucas was still struggling to break free until a teacher dispersed the crowd. Lucas breathed a sigh of relief.
Soon the bell went in. The students returned to their classes.
...----------------...
Lucas returned to his seat tired. After running here and there he gave up because his strength was exhausted in addition since this morning and afternoon he did not put anything into his stomach.
"I'll wait for him to get back into class" Lucas thought later.
Lucas set his hunting breath. His clothes were almost wet from sweat. His eyes stiffened not to be seen Gazelle's empty chair.
Jake, the student, was sitting on his friend's desk right next to Lucas' desk. He looked at Lucas in wonder. "Hey," he said, still trying to communicate with Lucas. He was still curious about Lucas.
Lucas didn't make his call. He sat tensely, his hands clasped tightly on the table. Lucas was focused on waiting for the owner of the chair to return to his place.
"You really can't talk" said Jake, who began to move closer to his desk. He was angry that Lucas was ignoring him. Two other friends also moved to see Jake began to get emotional.
"Jake calm down" said his other friends.
"You guys take it easy I'm not going over the line, I just want to teach this arrogant new friend a little lesson" Jake said.
"Hey you will be punished" said his friend again.
"You shut up, if either of you doesn't complain, I don't need to be punished" Jake snorted in annoyance.
Jake approaches Lucas and Brak's table!! He stuck his ass on Lucas' desk. He was trying to intimidate Lucas.
But suddenly Greep!!
Without warning Lucas pulls Jake's shirt collar quickly using his right hand without taking his eyes off Gazelle's chair. The pull is so powerful that Jake's head and body automatically bend parallel to Lucas's head.
Jake's two friends are shocked but they dare to do nothing. Jake who was in the grip of Lucas tried his hardest to free himself but Lucas' grip did not budge in the slightest.
"Who..," Lucas told Jake, who began to feel suffocated.
"W-what's your mak-sud," said Jake stammered.
Lucas turned his eyes to Jake's face, which was right in line with him. Lucas' cold face as if to emit a laser beam right into Jake's eyes made Jake start to tremble. "Who's the owner of that empty seat!" lucas pointed to Gazelle's chair with his left hand.
"The teacher is coming...!" Suddenly a child shouted. The children who had been huddling around noticed Jake and Lucas immediately ran to their seats.
They do not dare to divorce Jake and Lucas because Jake himself is a child who often troublemakers. As for Lucas, in their eyes Lucas is even scarier than Jake.
Lucas never heard Jake's answer. As he heard the warning call earlier, he also immediately released his grip on Jake and pushed back Jake's body. Luckily, his two friends kept him in check. Lucas simply gave him a sharp look.
Jake held his neck which hurt. "Chairman class? You'd better not deal with him" Jake said, then sat back at his desk upset.
A teacher also enters the class. Behind her Gazelle was trailing while carrying a stack of books in her hands. He casually placed the book on the teacher's desk then moved towards his chair and sat quietly. He didn't see Lucas one bit, as if he didn't care about the murderous look Lucas was looking at him for now.
"Heah... Such a person becomes the class president? You're gonna die after this" Lucas said as he continued to stare at Gazelle.
