Shhhh... It's my secret

Shhhh... It's my secret
05. Names to Remember

"Good morning grandma" said a girl to Rosie who was busy in the kitchen preparing breakfast.

"Gazelle ??" Rosie who recognized who the owner of the voice was immediately turned around while staring in shock at the figure of the girl who was walking closer to him.

Rosie glanced at the wall clock hanging near the refrigerator. Rosie wants to make sure she doesn't read the wrong time.

Rosie knows that today is Monday, a busy day for people who are going to work or going to school. But at the moment the time still shows at six in the morning. It's too early to move.

Rosie also knew the girl's habit, the girl named Gazelle, that she would come down for breakfast at about half-eight. Half an hour before class starts.

Gazelle approached Rosie who was still confused about her attitude, but casually took a small piece of apple that had been arranged on the plate and put it in her mouth.

"It's delicious" Gazelle said, still chirping while chewing his apple and not trying to explain the meaning of this action.

"Is today a special occasion or are you going to visit somewhere?" Rosie asked out of curiosity. He still stood looking in wonder at Gazelle.

Gazelle just shook her head without giving an answer. He was happy to tease the old woman. The woman he had considered his own parents.

Get off!

The sound of the grill clinking. The surprised Rosie immediately turned to the oven, she quickly took out the strawberry muffin that had been on her grill.

"Then you should say, grandma will prepare your breakfast early" Rosie said as she tried to move the muffin to the dinner table in a hurry. He didn't even notice the heat of the muffin touching his skin.

Gazelle chuckled and then swiftly put on the gloves and took one by one the muffins and arranged them on the plate. "Grandmother.be careful, the cake is still hot."

"It's not like that, Grandma" Gazelle continued. " It's just that suddenly we were asked to come early today. I also found out last night when I read a message from a class chat group."

"really so? Haah...why do they always give such sudden news? Then sit down, you gotta eat something." Rosie herded Gazelle's body quickly towards the dining chair.

"No grandma, no need." Gazelle held Rosie's hand gently, and she took off the glove she was wearing. "I'll just eat this while I walk." He took a whole apple from the table and put it in his backpack.

"Ah no... No. gabe... You have to eat right." Rosie was still trying to persuade him to have breakfast.

Gazelle folded her left hand, she looked towards the watch in her hand. "It doesn't seem like it could be Grandma, I should really set off right now. Master asked us to get together in half an hour." Her eyes glanced at Rosie. "And this muffin left for noon later ya grandma." He runs away from Rosie to the door.

Rosie was speechless to see that Gazelle had run away, finally giving up and rushing to follow her to take Gazelle to the door. His heart was still unsettled from the look on his sad face looking at Gazelle.

"Grandmother doesn't need to take me," Gazelle said, wearing her shoes. He realizes that Rosie is really worried about him right now but he chooses to pretend to not know.

"I'm sorry this time grandma" she whispered inwardly.

"Ah about the muffin...?" he immediately remembered something.

"Don't worry, grandma will leave some for you" Rosie said quickly.

"No, it's not that. But.i..." Gazelle showed her confused face. "Don't grandma bake too many muffins for the both of us? Or today grandma will eat with aunts around the house?" he remembered the muffin earlier that looked more than what was usual in Rosie's roast all along. Gazelle knew the reason, only he was trying to know nothing.

"Yes... That's... Actually, today Grandma wants us to have breakfast together. There's someone who wants to introduce you, grandma thinks it would be better to introduce her to you while we eat breakfast" Rosie explained later.

"Uhm someone?" Gazelle turned her head to the right and left, peering into the house, looking for the figure Rosie mentioned. "I don't see anyone, does he currently occupy the second floor?"

"really. He's even at school with you and a class...." Suddenly Rosie stopped her words. "One class?" Rosie felt like she had forgotten something and now she just woke up.

Rosie began to connect her memories with the words that came out of her mouth just now. If Lucas was one class with Gazelle it would mean he should come in the morning as well now. And it looks like Lucas is sleeping in his room.

"Gosh," Rosie said as she patted her own forehead. "Do all the children have to come this morning?" rosie began to panic.

"Of course, Grandma. What was? Is the person you want to introduce my classmate to?" Gazelle begins to understand what Rosie is worried about now even though she actually knows the truth. But he still had to show a pretended attitude of surprise.

"Oh Grandma, then grandma should wake her up now, what are you waiting for, let's hurry," Gazelle said twisting Rosie's body slowly.

"Ah.. ohh.. fine." Rosie panicked herself. "You go, baby, be careful on the road, don't walk where people don't go, you see" Rosie shouted as she continued to walk briskly towards the second floor.

"Of course neeeek..," cried Gazelle as she closed the door quietly.

Gazelle knows exactly who owns the bike, Jacob, Rosie's son who is not currently living with him. Seeing that the bike was parked outside, there would be someone who would wear it, which was definitely not Jacob.

"Well, did Rosie even lend him the bike? Uhmm well this is getting more exciting." A mysterious smile expands from Gazelle's face, and she continues to walk away from Rosie's house.

Gazelle sat in one of the folding chairs in front of a convenience store. This department store is located a few blocks from Rosie's house and if it runs about twenty meters further from the department store to the front it will get to the big road.

Gazelle took a slow sip of the strawberry milk she bought from the convenience store. He folded his arms and shook one of his folded legs, his eyes staring straight at the street in front of the convenience store. His long black hair was allowed to unravel in the wind.

Gazelle glanced at the clock in his hand, the minute hand had moved to the number three, meaning it was now 06:15. He continued to sip his strawberry milk.

Shortly waiting, from the direction of Rosie's house a black sports bike drove swiftly through the department store where he was sitting.

Bruuum!!

His voice was loud characteristic of sport motors and left only white smoke in the air in every place he passed. The motor continued to go into the big road.

The reason Gazelle woke up early today was of course not because there was an order to come early to school as he told Rosie. He lied about it. Of course not because you want to sit back in the folding chair of this department store.

Well this was the real reason why he wanted to wake up earlier today. It was Lucas. He wanted to see her rush to school. He could not imagine how upset Lucas' face was when he found out that he had been deceived.

"Huhahaha...." Suddenly Gazelle's laughter just came off because of the image of the annoyed face. To the extent that he almost spewed out the new milk in his drink.

"Gazelle, are you okay?" said Cindy suddenly, a young girl in her 25s, Cindy is an employee of this department store. The girl who had known Gazelle for a long time was now standing next to Gazelle without Gazelle knowing.

Cindy, who had been looking confusedly at Gazelle, as she was walking towards the department store for her morning shift, was now more confused when Gazelle suddenly laughed.

"G ... It's okay, sister," Gazelle said as she wiped the milk stuck to her lips and held her laugh. He was also surprised to find that Cindy was already standing next to him.

"really? I thought you were choking or something... But...What are you doing this morning? Isn't it too early to go to school?" ask Cindy to make sure.

"Yes, brother, ah I'm going somewhere before school, so I leave early in the morning" he explained why he is here now. "Then I go, brother, work." Gazelle bowed goodbye to Cindy.

"Uhm... You be careful, don't go home too late" Cindy replied as she half-screamed at Gazelle who had walked away. Gazelle just waved her hand at Cindy as she continued walking.

''Not too late, huh? Is sister Cindy still being followed by the man?'' Gazelle continued walking towards the bus stop not far from there while thinking about the last words Cindy said just now. Those words were very disturbing to him, his excitement was instantly lost hearing the girl's anxiety.

This morning of course Gazelle was going somewhere like he told Cindy, he wasn't lying about it. But of course not to school, but he will go to his house. His real home.

Meanwhile, in front of the gate of WhiteSwan High School.

A black motor sport stopped right in front of a large and magnificent gate, in the middle of the top of the gate carving WhiteSwan SMA clearly written. The gate is still tightly closed.

The driver of the motorcycle, who was none other than Lucas, turned off the engine. He took off his helmet, his rubber gloves and slowly got off the bike.

"What's this?" He approached the big door. He was surprised to see that the fence was still locked tightly when Rosie told him that all the children were asked to come early today.

Lucas pushed through the gate until the sound of the iron door clashed loudly. He wanted to convince himself that the school gate had not been opened at all.

"Haaaa...." Lucas let out a long sigh while kicking his foot to the door. "Women can lie, right?" he walked back to his bike.

"So what's her name...?" He scratched his unscratchy forehead while remembering the name of the girl Rosie was talking about when telling him to quickly get ready to go to school. "Ga.. Ga... The gazelle? Ahhh Ya Gazelle, I will remember that name well from now on, I wonder what kind of girl dares to play me... Shit...."

Lucas sat back on his bike, now it feels like he really wants to hit the iron gate. But he had to hold it off because it was his first day at this school. So he decided to wait until the school security guard opened the gate for him.
