11. Allies or Enemies (2)

Lucas finally arrived at a park not far from the bus stop. That afternoon the park looked quiet. There are no visitors in the park as it is almost dark. The sunlight began to hide behind the buildings and trees around the park.

Lucas got off his bike and walked slowly looking around looking for the figure he wanted to meet. "Heah... Is he lying to me? There's no one here, damn it...."

Although he didn't see anyone there, Lucas decided to wait. He was sitting on a swing bench, his hands folded holding back the wind that began to cool. It seems like it is cloudy clouds that make the day dark quickly.

"You're coming too...!" a voice that is none other than Jake.

Lucas lifted his head, looking at the figure he recognized already standing before him. He also stood up from the swing. "You? Why are you here?" lucas asked astonished at Jake's arrival instead of Gazelle.

"It looks like you're waiting for someone. Are you disappointed that it was me?" jake smiled cynically.

How'd Jake come?

A few minutes after the bell came home, Jake and his friends who got information about the whereabouts of Lucas intend to meet him in the motorcycle parking lot. But on the road to the parking lot, he was confronted by Gazelle.

Seeing Gazelle, Jake is shocked. He tried to go around the place where Gazelle was standing because he did not want to deal with her. But Gazelle moves in and keeps trying to block Jake.

"Haaahs... What exactly do you want? You know I don't like dealing with you!" jake said after getting tired of avoiding Gazelle.

"You think I like it. I just don't want to disappoint someone. Park before the stop, this afternoon. I'm sure the person who wants to deal with you is there" Gazelle said, leaving Jake and his friends in shock. They still did not understand what Gazelle meant.

How did Gazelle know? Of course he knows. When Bella meets Lucas in the parking lot, Gazelle is also there. He listened to all their conversations.

Bella is the one who always pretends to be friendly to Gazelle. He always tried to get Gazelle to talk in class. Gazelle, who knew what she was doing, always ignored her.

Today before the final lesson begins, Bella asks several times if Gazelle will be going to the park near the stop this afternoon. Bella knew of Gazelle's habit of feeding stray cats in the park every afternoon after school. Bella knew because she had accidentally met Gazelle in the park. "Hahaha.huh.huh, you don't deserve to talk" exclaimed Jake. He quickly moved towards Lucas and raised his fist at Lucas.

Lucas held Jake's fist in just one move. He gripped Jake's hand very strongly making Jake who never lost in a fight a little surprised. "What'sthis? You think your weak hand can touch me?" lucas is provoking Jake.

"He can read my moves?" inner Jake. Then Jake quickly pulled his hand and lifted his leg about to kick beside Lucas' body.

But once again Lucas withstood Jake's foot strike with his hand and pushed hard on Jake's body until Jake fell down.

"Is it done? Now it's my turn" Lucas said, quickly closing in on Jake, who was still on the ground. Lucas crouches over Jake and one hand grabs Jake's shirt collar preparing to raise his fist as well.

Lucas had concentrated all his strength in his fist. He's ready to hit Jake in the face. But suddenly a voice left Lucas shocked and his focus split. His fists stopped too.

"Pusss pusss come here... Come on, here's your food" Gazelle's voice crouched not far from Lucas and Jake. In his hand was a can of cat food. Before long calling, two gray black cats came out from the bushes and scattered towards Gazelle.

Lucas's eyes stiffened at the sound as well as Jake's. Lucas pulls his hand and takes off his grip on Jake. He looked at the hungry cats. "You." he stood up and walked over to Gazelle. He just left Jake.

Jake whose face was pale because of the big fist Lucas only stayed how many cent of his face breathed a sigh of relief. "Nearly I underestimated him," Jake's inner self, who began to stand up, raised his body.

"Stand with you" Lucas snapped at Gazelle, who looked busy stroking the heads of the stray cats.

Gazelle stood quietly after making sure the can was empty. He calmly looked at Lucas who was standing right in front of him. But suddenly he tilted his body to look at Jake who was standing not far behind Lucas.

"Hey Jake, are you okay? I see you've found the man you're looking for!!" gazelle exclaimed at Jake who was holding back emotions.

"Well that cunning girl, it always pisses me off" Jake said. "Hey, class president, I hope you don't tell me anything about today" Jake exclaimed and left Lucas and Gazelle. He really doesn't want to deal with Gazelle.

Gazelle held up one hand gesturing through her finger that she understood what Jake meant just now. After Jake passed, he reaffirmed his body and looked at the face of Lucas who had been holding back anger because he was ignored by the girl.

"You're ignoring me?" lucas looked hard at Gazelle. He was completely inexhaustible with the attitude of the girl.

"You didn't hear what Jake said, I'm the class president. I have an obligation to report anything that happens to my classmate. Including you... Lucas Theodore," Gazelle said casually.

Lucas' eyes began to twitch. "Just because you're a girl doesn't mean I can't hit you!" lucas is firm.

"Then?" tanya Gazelle emphasized her words. "You want to hit me now?" ask Gazelle.

"You're really not afraid of anything! You know what your mistake is, right?" asked Lucas who was starting to be confused about what to do. He was angry that Gazelle was challenging him but he could not vent his anger. Because his whole life he's never hit a woman.

After Lucas thought it over, the girl's fault was that she surprised him suddenly when he almost fell asleep.

"It could be because he didn't realize my existence and when I called he didn't hear because he was wearing an ear phone," Lucas' inner voice tried to understand Gazelle's behavior at the time.

"The girl named Gazelle, I so vent my emotions on everyone," her mind again.

"Where is my mistake exactly?" gazelle asked back at Lucas who seemed to be thinking. In her heart Gazelle was satisfied to see that upset face up close.

"You... You're...." Lucas was confused by that question.

Lucas didn't think to say the reason just because he was surprised. It could make him think that he was overreacting. But it was also impossible for him to apologize. There's no apology in the dictionary.

So Lucas thought about putting an end to this without apologizing. "Not that you should have apologized for making me surprised earlier. You know I just closed my eyes this afternoon, but you...."

"Sorry," Gazelle interrupted suddenly before Lucas finished his words.

"What?" lucas was shocked to hear such an apology. He did not expect that the girl could do so easily. He thought maybe the girl would scold him. If it happens like this, Lucas is more confused about what to do.

"Is it less? Alright... Forgive me for my mistake" Gazelle half-bent on Lucas.

Lucas was really confused. He can't say anything else. He just felt wrong and couldn't even answer anything.

"Is that enough? Then can I go home? It's dark. I'll miss the bus if I don't get home early. I'm afraid ne.nek will be angry anyway" Gazelle explained, emphasizing the word 'grandmother'.

"Oh... A bus? Did he get back on the bus? And grandma? She lives with her grandmother? Ah I can go crazy, I can make trouble with a pathetic person like him" Lucas said.

"If you repeat next time... I'm going to really hit you" Lucas said calmly and coldly and then left Gazelle for his bike.

"I'll remember" Gazelle shouted at Lucas as she ran away towards the bus stop.

"The shit day... Because of that damn girl. Gazelle. If I meet I'll really finish you," Lucas' inner self as he walks towards his bike.

"Well, what's his name? Because I was so angry I forgot to ask... Ah shit," said Lucas as he drove his bike fast towards home because it was really dark now.

That day Jake admits that Lucas cannot be made an enemy, he must be an ally that strengthens his position. And Lucas never realized that the enemy he was looking for was in front of his face.
