SAWMILL

SAWMILL
63. MR. SOLIKIN'S PAIN

I was on my way from Tina's house to the village next to the river, actually the village had a name, but I always forgot to ask what the name of the village was.

It's better to call it a village next to a river, easier to remember.

This morning's walk to the village next to the river through the main line was quite far away, it had been almost twenty minutes I had not found the iron bridge that Tina said.

But no papa at least I want to know the explanation of Mr. Solikin with no Burhan with me.

Mr. Solikin could have told me about it because there was always Burhan in the saw house.

The further from the village of Tina now to my left began to appear the river, and most likely this river was the one passing through the back of the saw house.

I saw my watch turned out I had walked for about thirty minutes heheheh.

But in the distance has begun to look an ancient bridge made of iron that some of the iron has rusted

“So this is called the iron bridge, heheheh because most of the material is made of iron”

“And most likely this bridge already existed in the Dutch” colonial era

I turn the motor to cross the bridge that asphalt road has been a lot of peeling. Slowly I finally reached the end of the bridge.

Waduuh what this road is still far yes, because in front of me now is a straight road that on the right left is a green rice field.

After the rice fields in the distance there were lush trees, most likely the village was there, in the lush trees in the distance.

After walking for about fifteen minutes, now on my right left there are shady trees.

Not far away on the left there is a gate that is not too big with paint that has been peeled off.

“This is the village I mean”

Frankly I was confused also with the village road through the front of the village, because several times I entered this village from the back road.

Slowly I went down the village road alley by alley, until I met the mothers who were walking.

“Excuse me ma'am, I want to ask you the address of Mr. Solikin”

“Oh sir Solikin, the mas is straight until we meet the intersection, then turn right, after there is a grocery store just straight and turn right again”

“Four houses from there it's home sir Solikin”

I run the bike after I say thank you to the mom who looks like she's going shopping.

Well if the road that was described by the mother I know hehehe, it will indeed pass through the house of Bu Tugiyem and his son named Anik.

Hopefully, Tugiyem and Anik are not in front of the house, so I don't have to stop by and have a stale conversation with them.

From here I know where Mr. Solikin's house is, because several times I passed by here to stop by Mr. Solikin's house and Mr. Tugiyem's.

I passed the house of Tugiyem bu which was still quiet, even the grocery store was not open.not far from there I also arrived at the house of Solikin sir

But if he has entered work, whether he has recovered, ah better see it in his house.

If indeed he is healed, I can talk to his wife about what pain he is, if he is still in his house I can freely ask about Yetno brother bakul pecel.

“Assalamualaikum...Assalamualaikum..

“Waalaikum greetings..”.

Well the answer is not a male voice, it must be the wife of Mr. Solikin. Means he's already in the sawmill house for work. It could be that he has recovered from his illness.

“Oh no sir Agus..”.

“Lho instead my husband is already in the sawmill pack?”

“Oh sorry bu , I from yesterday because ndak there, because I just came from the city”

“Hmmm if I may want to ask about the pain Mr. Solikin ma'am, is he healthy?”

The old woman only sighed, then stayed in the doorway of her house.

There was a noticeable change in her face when I asked her husband about Solikin's health.

“Actually the father has not healed, it's just yesterday the truck kernet whose name is Burhan came here”

“I don't know what she said to my husband, who must be my husband today working as usual”

“Yah maybe Burhan also does not want if this job is neglected for up to two days ma'am, because our boss is hard also the person”

“Eh sorry mom, actually mr Solikin sick what bu?”

“I also do not know sir, which surely yesterday morning my husband could not get up from his sleep, his back and chest hurt so much that he had to lie down all day

“What did Mr Solikin do until his back and chest hurt bu?”

“I do not know sir, before he was out of the house at night, he said he wanted to fish. Because it's my husband's habit if he can't sleep always alone to fishing”

“Usually how many days does he catch once?”

“Rarely kok Pak Agus, but lately since Pak Karyo died, my husband if the night often out to fishing”

“Wah definitely can fish a lot ya ma'am, because in my village, people if fishing yes midnight it”

“Oh so. how was the story about the husband?”

“Then the time went home the body he limp a lot of cold sweat..The body trembled and complained his chest and back hurt”.

“After I give warm tea, then he sleeps, until the next morning Pak Agus and Burhan here it”

The incident he went fishing at the same time as when I I had a nightmare... But is there anything to do with my dream? and does it have anything to do with the pocong that attacked me?

I'm sure Mr. Solikin didn't go fishing, he must be doing something…..

But whether all this is the behavior of Solikin, I doubt it feels like….

But if true, is this evil intention of Solikin known to Burhan?

All is still confusing, because said Mr. Panat, that there are three people who do evil, and there is one person who tries to prevent it.

“But this morning how are you?”

“Well he said his body was still limp, and he was still complaining his chest hurt, just last night after talking to Burhan, the next morning my father left for work also”

“Ya already... if so I say ma'am first, I will go to the sawmill bu”

I drove the motor back towards the village of Tina, because unfortunately the bamboo bridge that connects this village with the sawmills can not be traversed by a motorbike.

Wah... I have to pass through the house Bu Tugiyem again.

Motor running slowly land…

Continue..and continue .. until in front of me already seen the grocery store Bu Tugiyem already open.

Slowly I began to pass in front of the store Bu Tugiyem, suddenly, njemunuk, mak bedduk, mak jegagik, mak kluwer, mak sliwer, mak,....

“Mas Aguuuuus...”.

Anik who was in front of the shop called out loud to me!

“Eh hello dik Anik.. hehehe, I just want to stop by and lose fast as he called dik Anik”.

“Hihihi can aja mas Agus this. Want to meet mom?”

“B..can... where mom dik, please call”.

Juangkreeek. nang nang nang kene rek. huuuff. yo wis lah tree there is talk for mother Tugiyem hihihi.

I'll ask you about Yetno, or I can ask you about Solikin, Mamad, Burhan and Purwandi.

Anik ran into the house, Sepagi Anik was well dressed and looked beautiful….

Waduh..what would I say to Ms. Tugiyem if she saw me in a state of sleep deprivation and these moustaches.

Hmmm I better tell you that I was queuing at Mr. Warm's house after I came from the hospital for my wound control last night.

“Waaah no nak Agus... where from early in the morning gini nak?”

“Good morning bu Tugiyem. But earlier I was from the hospital for my wound control, then I went to Pakat also”

“Hmmm pak Pangat smart people from N village?”

“Desa N where bu hehehe, I know the names of villages here”

“Nak Agus there is only, N village is yes village after the forest you know nak”

“Let's go in first, chat inside only son....”.

I went into Tugiyem's house with Anik and his mother…..

After being invited to sit down, Anik headed inside because his mother told him to make me some warm tea.

“I know his name Pakat Pakat it son, he is famous in the area here and outside the city also”

“Eh is this related to the wound caused by the pocong?”

“Iya ma'am, not even that, I had a terrible dream also”

I told Mrs Tugiyem the dream that came to me recently….

Including what Mr. Panat said, but of course about Tina obviously I hid from Bu Tugiyem hehehe.

“Hmmm what pak pangat mentioned is likely true son...”.

“I feel there is something hidden when there is a pack of Wandi, Mamad, Solikin, and Burhan who only ever come it”

“But obviously I don't want to be bad first son..”.

“Oh yes son, I just remembered....”.

“There is another person who only had time to work there for three days only. His name is Yetno”.

“The man pity because often scolded by Mr. Wandi, even Burhan did not like Yetno, maybe because he was careless”
