Ramadan Without Sua

Ramadan Without Sua
Lebaran Without Sua

Today is Eid day. However, today Ardhita is far away in Natuna. While his family is in Malang, East Java. For the first time in her life, Ardhita felt and celebrated a holiday without family. As if I was far from alienation.

Various typical dishes of Lebaran that usually his mother cooked at home, can not Ardhita feel. Like Ketupat, Opor Ayam, and Sambal Goreng which seems to have become a traditional menu for the Ardhita family. Now, in Natuna land, he only undergoes Ramadan at the halfway house, while later in the afternoon will go to the Hospital for night shift duty.

As a medical worker, Ardhita also has no leave. Stay in work, according to his shift schedule. In this time, there is also a different because there is no Ied or Eid prayer. The government has appealed to all people to perform Eid prayers at home. So, Ardhita also only takes his own prayer time at home.

Last year, Ardhita performed Eid prayers with family and worshippers in droves in the field. This year, Lebaran Day was quiet.

"O Allah, if Allah is pleased, in the same year, on the same occasion please allow Dhita to celebrate Eid with family and those whom Dhita loves and loves."

Ardhita prayed in her heart, in prostration. The girl was in tears because she missed family and also missed being able to celebrate Ramadan and Eid with the people she loved. But now he celebrates himself.

Even the typical menu of Lebaran is not in the house of Dhita layover. There is only rice and omelet. Really far from the word Eid celebration. After performing the Ied Prayer, Ardhita then began to make video calls to his Father and Mother in Malang.

Sired

Calling ....

"Hello, Assalamualaikum Father and Mother," said Ardhita as soon as the video call was connected.

"Mother and Father, Dhita wishes you a happy Eid al-Fitr. Sorry to be born and inner nggih Father and Mother," said Ardhita with a hiccup.

His parents in Malang were also crying. Can't hug her only child. Just looking at the phone screen.

"Yes, Ta ... Happy Eid also. Father and Mother always pray for you healthy who work there well. Next year, when Lebaran hopefully can be together and gather at home well," replied his father.

The feast day, which is so sad. Can't be together. Can only meet virtually, and cannot meet in person. Ardhita is so far from home.

"So Dhito and his family also called the video, Ta. They said Eid al-Fitr through a video call. Cannot touch. Can't forgive directly. You can only call" replied Tini.

Ardhita nodded her head. "Yes, Mom. Take turns virtually first. Hopefully next year will be better and can meet," he replied.

"Amin .. hopefully yes, Ta. Especially being able to meet you. I miss you."

My God, during the video call, Ardhita kept crying. Can't meet his parents. It's so sad it feels.

When it's far away like this it feels completely isolated. Eid without a sua. We hope that days like this will pass and be replaced with days that can be passed along with our families and loved ones.
