Ramadan Without Sua
Don't Surrender!

After calling her mother, Ardhita melosrot sat on the floor. She cried by hiding her face with both hands. Mentally it feels like getting a positive verdict from Covid.

For anyone who is declared to be affected by this disease it feels like fear, as well as Ardhita . How not to be afraid? Every day the news on various national television dominated by the increase in Corona cases, the roar of ambulances that almost adorned the corner of the city with more frequent intensity, the number of casualties that fell one after another, the number of victims who fell one by one, it seems to be a scourge of its own for humans including Ardhita.

There is also no definitive cure for patients exposed to this virus, plus so many casualties that make Ardhita more depressed mentally.

"When the servant gave himself up for duty up to Natuna, to care for the crowd, in the end the servant himself had to feel exposed to this virus. Please servant, O Allah. Please servant .. give servant healing as well. Although there is no definite cure, there is no vaccine, I hope a miracle from God alone."

With a troubled heart and constant tears, Ardhita could only plead with God. However, medically, this disease has no definite cure. Vaccines have not been found. So, the first reaction that everyone who is exposed to Covid-19 must be a heartache, and also fear. It is better to surrender and also to expect miracles from God. Now, intersecting with humans clearly cannot because Ardhita must perform self-isolation. So, Ardhita chose to lean on the Khalik, the Owner of His Life.

Ardhita then tried to calm herself down and then contacted Dhito as well. For him, Dhito should also know how he is now. When exposed to Covid anything can happen. Even humans become hopeless and wait in uncertainty. Ardhita also reported all the possibilities that could happen.

Mr. Dhito

Calling ....

Waiting for the call to connect. Ardhita strives to string the word first. He must have the courage to convey to Dhito about his current condition.

A few seconds passed, and finally the voice of Dhito greeted. "Hello, Assalamualaikum, Dik," said Dhito.

A typical baritone voice, in every word spoken was heard politeness there. Ardhita has tears. It's just, he's trying to hold it.

"Waalaikumsalam, Mas Dhito ...."

However, Dhito hears Ardhita's different voice. Suddenly, Dhito felt that something was happening. It was also what prompted Dhito to return asking.

"Why, Sister? You crying?" ask Dhito.

"Mas, can I tell you something?" ask Ardhita now to Dhito.

"Yes, of course. I'll listen to him" he replied.

Ardhita closed her eyes, after which she tried to tell Dhito honestly.

"Mas, I'm Positive ... Covid!"

Ardhita's tears can't be contained anymore. In fact he admits himself positively to Covid with a hiccup. Even now, Ardhita brought her one hand to cover her own mouth, an attempt to dampen her cries. It felt even more devastated, as she admitted herself positively to her own lover.

"Mas knows you're crying, brother. Its alright. They will listen to it. But you need to know too. Don'tbeafraid. They are always there for you. Even if we are far apart. We're close to heart, aren't we?"

Dhito spoke so. He knew that Ardhita was afraid. Dhito was very surprised by Ardhita's confession. Instantly his heart was pounding now. Desire to head to Natuna soon, and visit Ardhita. However, the absence of operational passenger aircraft also left the Dhito powerless. However, Ardhita must know that even if the distance is far, he will always be there for Ardhita.

Ardhita's voice is stammering now. Together with his mother, Ardhita was able to hold back. Striving hard. However, with Dhito he could admit how scared he was. With Dhito, Ardhita can be an open figure with what he feels now.

"Mas knows, Brother. Crying is okay. You better cry, show that fear. But then you have to get up. You have to fight it. Once you are scared, those fear signals will be sent to your brain. Until it makes you really scared and drop. Do not let your immunity down. Cry first, Brother. After that, don't be sad anymore. Must be happy, must be fought."

Although only by phone call, Dhito tried to strengthen Ardhita. Motivation can be done even remotely. Care and attention can be channeled even if not in sight. That's what Dhito is trying to do now.

"Bik, we have a much greater and greater God. Allah is all. If Allah allows you to be exposed to this virus, be assured that Allah will allow you to be healed. After that, you will praise and magnify the name of God for a marvelous miracle. They will support your prayers and always encourage you. Don't be afraid, we have God. God is greater than all, including this virus," Dhito said.

Again, Dhito tries to calm and motivate Ardhita. He strengthened Ardhita. Reminding that God is more powerful, God's miracles will be proved. But the servant must always draw near to Allah. Begging for his mercy.

"False, Mas. I'll try to fight everything. Thank you for reminding me to lean on God" Ardhita replied.

Dhito is now calmer because Ardhita's voice is calmer, no more sobbing. Thankfully, Dhito became relieved.

"Sir, what do you feel now?" ask Dhito.

"Several days, my body is carefree, Mas. I just keep coughing dry. My throat was very dry" replied Ardhita.

"Then, what are you now, brother? Isolation alone or in the Hospital?" ask Dhito.

He asked that as well knowing that there were covid symptoms that Ardhita was feeling right now. Especially if Covid has been confirmed, they will be given the choice of self-isolation or being in the hospital.

"I did self-isolation at my halfway house in Natuna, Mas. Symptoms are mild. What I'm afraid of is because there's no cure yet, Mas. We also did so to patients with fever, drugs given paracetamol, as well as other symptoms, "reply Ardhita.

Dhito over there nodded his head. Listen to the story of Ardhita who has experience treating patients with covid symptoms. However, what Ardhita said was true because no medicine had been found.

"Excite yes, Brother. No cry. They will always accompany you. Although far away, we can strengthen each other. Can you send me your address later?" ask Dhito.

"Yes, I can."

"Don't give up. You will be healed, God will heal. The evidence is many, too, of people who recover after self-isolation. I'll be with you, even from far away."

Now, Ardhita is calm. He seemed to gain strength from every remark of Dhito. Ironically indeed, to patients who have been exposed to covids, Dhita can take care of them, strengthening them. However, now when he faced this, it was precisely Ardhita who was so upset. His fears and hopes were dashed.

"False Mas. Last time I called Mom, I tried not to cry. I'm worried that you and Mom will think later" said Ardhita.

"Yes, I know you and Mom can think. If it's me, you should be honest, brother. I'm glad you can be honest with me. Don't hide anything" Dhito replied.

Yes, Ardhita is. Will involve Dhito even if it is long distance. At least there are loved ones who support it will make it more uplifting and fight it all. Must be spirit to heal, that's what Ardhita has to do now.
